Thanks Drew, Good Stuff! Going to keep this info in the back of my brain somewhere. (hopefully) Going to a school tomorrow evening. The architect doesn't like 3/32 reveal between the door and the frame, want's an 1/8". So pulling the continuous hinge door, plane it and reinstall because "it might rub in the future". Sometimes it so much fun being "The Door Guy"
What happens when you pull up on the handle? I have the same lock that had the same problem when you push the handle down, but also would retract the latch every time you pull the handle up regardless of whether you put in the code or not
When that happens it’s cause the tailpiece is oriented correctly. Off the top of my head I can’t remember if the tailpiece is suppose to be horizontal or vertical but if I pull up on handle and it’s doing that then u need to change orientation of tail piece.
We use Alarm Locks and have been pretty happy with their customer service
Good to know!
