We can all learn a lot from latif. about cooking? yeah. but more about just being happy in what you do. his natural way of saying insh'allah and bismillah (muslim expressions for 'god willing' and 'in the name of god' (used when beginning something, like a task, or a journey for example) respectively), and flitting between his mother tongue and our language (shows respect to the elders to speak to them in their native tongue), is an absolute joy to watch (the smile at 24:48 says it all), and more importantly a lesson in bringing down cultural barriers. we are all the same and we all seek joy; the main reason many of us, including me, come back to these videos is not solely for the cooking; there are so many cooking videos on here, but some you can only watch one or two in a series. the reason we come back here is his effortless joy in what he does, and that is the most wonderful thing of all, as it lifts all our spirits. thank you latif not only for gorgeous recipes and food, but more importantly for making us feel the warmth you have for what you do. i wanna say thank you to your mum as well (I know how important mums are in your culture) for raising a person like yourself. GOD bless you :)
Since discovering Latif's youtube channel I have tried a lot of his recipes at home and have not been disappointed with any of them for flavour and taste, I am fortunate to have a Halal store and an Indian spice shop where I live in Carlisle so have a well stocked larder. I love the BIR meals and must admit to putting on some weight during lockdown but I would like you to know that if there was a local Bangladeshi restaurant that did home cooking I would gladly sit and wait and pay the extra cost. Keep up the good work Latif we all appreciate what you do very much.
I love this kind of entertainment, there is always more to learn. I got back into lamb chops about 3 months back and have them with mash each week, sometimes for a snack around 22:00 I will cook 2 frozen ones on the lowest heat I can for 10 mins to defrost and then whack the power up to 12. Deglazing the pan with a little butter is just wonderful and everyone needs to be doing it.
I love how you show us how to make all this stuff from scratch, I live close to Bradfords most popular curry house and all their youtube channel shows is how to use their licensed jars of stuff. Thanks for keeping it real
I tried to cook ur lamb chops grill and masha ALLAH wooow i could stop eating them. And now this will be my next chops to cook in sha ALLAH. I will give u a feed back to you. Lots of love from Ireland.
Your videos are a joy to watch, they are very informative and educational. Can you freeze the marinade you made for this recipe to use another time due to the quantity made when your recipe and instructions are followed?
Sounds Very Good for the Family Members And Loyal Cheerful Friend s. People Around the Earth. Very Nice UTube. From Lawrence Gladys And Son Simon East London England. Adult Children And Grand Children. All the People Around the Towns And Village s. God Bless U All the People Around U.❄️❄️🎉🎉
Thanks Latif. If im ever near Stoke I will pop into your restaurant. Love your VODs and I've tried a few recipes , all excellent. I'm from Glasgow and we have some great restaurants like Mother India. I'd like to try the Bangladeshi Stoke style. Keep up the good work
This is the recipe that ive been waiting for for a long time. Although most of us dont have a clay oven at home, im sure the chops on skewers in the oven will still work. Thank you so much..i recognise all these flavours and spices youve used.
Wow UA-cam algorithm making it hard for you bro. Keep going your channel is fantastic, and youve almost hit 200k subs! Ive made so many of your amazing dishes and youve opened up BIR secrets to bring it in to our homes, from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU LATIF
Great to see you again! I was subscribed on old phone hold my hands up new phone didn't remember you but soon as I see your videos I bloody well do. Great cook and teacher.
I did my nurse training with lads from mauritius, and they did the most amazing curried lamb ever, I have never yet found anything like it, the melt in your mouth lamb, potatoes that just disintegrated, an the dhal was to die for, I've tried and tried but have never managed to replicate it, I'm now a head chef myself and it's still beyond me, I am thinking that I will have to take a working holiday to Mauritius. Have you ever come across Mauritius curries before and any advice please.
I was from Mauritius; you will find nothing, trust me and you will thank me. There lots of places in Asia that you can go to. Enjoy your holiday elsewhere my friend!
You should definitely take a trip to Mauritius. I am Mauritian myself, we don’t have the best street food per say but our food in general is amazing. The fact that most of our dishes are a mixture of Indian, Chinese, African and French flavours. Our curry is way lighter compared to Indian/Bengali or Pakistani curries but still very full of flavours.
Hi - this looks amazing. what temperature is the tandoori? 300C was called out first, but then when ya'll went to cook you said over a medium heat. can't wait to try this!
Love your channel can you do a small video on your tandoor and an insight on some different cooking skills eg Naan etc cheers mate coming from New Zealand

Do you make your own ghee? I've seen how its made, now I know why its so expensive. Can you fry the lamb? Or air fry it? Love your food!
