Life here in US is very varied. Depends where you are, rural, small city or suburb or large city like LA or NY. Its like night and day. Parang Pinas. The difference lang siguro is population. Sa rural areas natin sa Pinas, there are still a lot of people. Dito sa rural areas nila, the population is really low. If you are from Manila, it will be hard to adjust to rural life here. You will get so lonely or bored. Baka ma-depress ka. So I do not blame him for wanting to leave or transfer. Goodluck.

Thank your insight! Yes, i tried applying for a cruise ship, unfortunately for europe they wouldn’t take Philippine passport holder :( so maybe later. But yes, thats also a good option. :)
US kc out of 50 states you have enough to choose if you prefer colder or warmer states, then salary rate or advantage din ang variety like semi urban and rural that way when youre single and wants night life madaming lively town you can hangout. Also you can always do 3 jobs if you like... lalo na pinoy wants to make extra money. I see a lot of other asians most likely Indians they pursue bachelor degrees and then get higher paid job.

Your guest from North Dakota is spot on with his experience. When you’re in a workplace everyone is equal as long as you perform your job and stay on your lane. MDs treat you with respect as their job is dependent on the feedback of nurses. Collaboration among the team is significant for the patients wellbeing. Try and move to a bigger city like Bismarck. You’re saving $$$ for a $350 rent that’s a snag. If you go South Dakota there are plenty of landmarks and scenic places to see. You will get more if you move to metropolis and hotspots will be within reach. Good luck

@@gardenrxpert6573 I believe it's not entirely free . If you have medical insurance you can have procedures /tests/elective surgeries done faster , but if you're in the public sector it might take months/years . USA all the way!! There are 50 States to choose from. It is the number one economy in the world so there are more educational and job opportunities, especially for nurses. Do not limit yourself, earn more, save, invest and be set for life. If you are smart with money, you can get into upper middle class or get rich in USA! US is a HUGE country. Time and time again, many American recruiters hire Filipino nurses from the Philippines because they can adjust to American culture and language faster. It is but imperative for American recruiters to hire Filipino nurses from the Philippines. Just give us some websites, complete hospital addresses, employers name and such. Thousands of Filipino nurses here in the Philippines are waiting for deployment abroad be it in Saudi Arabia,Austria,Germany Japan,Singapore,Abu Dhabi,Dubai,Oman or the United Kingdom.

America is a capitalist country and has ingrained in us to work, work, work, pay taxes and die. They claim to embrace work, life balance, but it's nothing but talk. I was caught up in the matrix and work was my only identity. Then one day a colleague of mine passed away suddenly and his job was posted, before his obituary. 😢 Yes, money is important in order to achieve our goals (home ownership, travel, pay down debt, retirement), but do not allow it to be your only focus. I know it's easier said than done, especially when you have family that may be depending on you. There are so many other countries where you can thrive professionally and personally. I've had so many friends that have left America, due to the lack of work, life balance and community. 😢 Nonetheless, make yourself a priority, because no one else will.

So good luck to me and other aspiring nurses worldwide. Mabuhay tayo haha
Totoo naman, we all just want to live our lives comfortably, follow our passions , spend time with loved ones and live to the fullest. If you’re doing that , wherever you are, you will be okay. Whatever decision you make, if it comes from the heart, youll be fine…
I would encourage you to practice nursing in the US. You will be treated with respect, just remember respect is a 2 way street. You can get a job wherever you are in the US. The job is endless. You can choose what field in nursing you want.
haha , there is a point in our career, where ang hanap nalang natin is stability and comfort. I think we go through phases, as we age we change our perspective and goals. I agree with you.

Thank your insight! Yes, i tried applying for a cruise ship, unfortunately for europe they wouldn’t take Philippine passport holder :( so maybe later. But yes, thats also a good option. :)
Agree!
I like the sense of humor of Mr. Ely ☺️

Hindi ko malilimutan yung sinabi sakin ng mother ng inaalagaan ko actually he's a Chinese business man.. Sabi ko kasi sa kanya.. Good luck

I retired at 38 in sunny Southern California. Play your cards right in life.😊

I feel bad to your friend in ND. Should move in warmer states that pays more being a nurse. Love working in USA. No need to work OT to have fun.
If you hire three Filipino nurses from the Philippines, a million Filipino nurses will follow.

What country do you think best suits me? Introvert po ako. Ireland? New Zealand? what do u think po. wag po pilipinas parang awa nyo na.
Hello ! Hmmmm. Introvert din ako eh. Im not sure about New Zealand kasi ndi naman ako nag work doon. I think mas versatile ang New Zealand when it comes to landscapes and all and close sa Pinas. Sa Ireland naman same din puro nature and simple living , tapos malapit sa mga European countries, easy mag travel around. Pero malayo sa Pinas . May pros and cons I think.
Yes, money is important in order to achieve our goals (home ownership, travel, pay down debt, retirement), but do not allow it to be your only focus. I know it's easier said than done, especially when you have family that may be depending on you.
There are so many other countries where you can thrive professionally and personally. I've had so many friends that have left America, due to the lack of work, life balance and community. 😢
Nonetheless, make yourself a priority, because no one else will.
Omg! What you said really hit me in the ❤️ , thanks for sharing your thoughts about this matter, this is a struggle most people/nurses do face.
Are you filipino yourself? 🙂
@@BoyetVentura my mom is filipina and dad is American, but I do have family that migrated from the Philippines to USA and Canada. I ❤️ our filipino/filipina nurses. I honestly don't know what the USA would do without them, you guys are truly the best.

I am actually scared to go to US pero nagtry pa din ako magapply. I am already contented here sa Abu Dhabi. Work life balance here and madaming Pinoy including stores, restaurants, products na hindi ka mahhomesick. I guess I just want to feel and try for my self how is life working in the US as a nurse.
@@gardenrxpert6573 thanks po.
ako hindi na learning ang hanap ko yung medyo relax na work tama na yung 8 years na bedside nurse ako sa middle east,
haha , there is a point in our career, where ang hanap nalang natin is stability and comfort. I think we go through phases, as we age we change our perspective and goals. I agree with you.
@@BoyetVenturaoh no to cotton balls as your day job. But if this is how you view life work balance ~so be it.
@@gardenrxpert6573 It's just a joke:) hehhee. but of course, we wouldn't get fulfillment from that alone. hello Denden! first of all congratulations on your USA application:) and I'm glad to know you're also working in the ICU :) Bakit mo nasabi na downgrade? Kasi step- down? Ikaw na nga nagsabi , to go to USA is your dream, I don't know what's the system in USA pero dito sa Ireland nag start din ako sa stepdown for ilang months before ako trinansfer sa ICU:) think about your "why" bakit ka mag USA? is it to become an ICU nurse ? to live a better life and earn more.? You can always change your post while you're in USA na, it will be easy. I wish you luck, and just enjoy the journey.

@@dendenlux8662 there's no harm to be in stepdown, you can apply in the ICU once you are here. Lagi Naman may vacant:) Americans always want an easy job.
