I still have the FoldCat, I did a river drift with it last weekend. I also have a Skeeter Bass boat and 2 fishing Kayaks. I'am having the most fun in the Runabout right now.
Nice love your design have a inflatable myself which was used as a pool toy for me my mum and sister and it lived outside which was wrong only to find a puncture. I'm hoping to upgrade to a intex mariner 3 soon
good job, I am a germany angler and want my inflatable boat also so lackieren.stencils ordered in usa.hebt the color even if that boat without air? or gets the color tears? Unfortunately I have no trailer and the boat must always be inflated. what paint you used? acrylic? hope you have a tip for me? thanks to greetings from Germany
Leticia Nunez Hi, left it inflated for quite awhile because I was using it, I went fishing as soon as I finished painting, I would leave it as long as you can, a week should be fine. Thanks
Thank you Alan your video is great , appreciate your reply about a week ago you inspired me to paint my Excursion 5 boat I decided to go with a woodlands digital camouflage premaid some stencils and gotter done,
I prefer the Sport Runabout, it's much faster and better suited for what I do, it's really versatile and I have been fishing the CT River alot and need the speed and power. I have a sweet Skeeter Bass Boat too but I still like to use the Sport runabout, unless I want to take out more anglers or fish a tournament. As for the FoldCat, I'am turning it into a drift boat only, It functions nicely on float trips.

I use paint made for plastic, called Krylon
When you first painted it How long after it dried did it take so you can deflate and put it away

Which do you prefer to use, your fold cat or the standard inflatable? Why?
