as a builder of all types of alu watercraft up to 24m, I was surprised that you did not show us the underwater sections, the most important part of the design of a planing boat at sea yes you need 40-45 degree deadrise at station 2, which will enable the boat to wave jump without hard , back breaking landings ,deadrise aft means a lot too, to steep, roll at rest, slows the plane time, actually 12 - 9 is great, used on big game fishing boats in NZ, makes for stable ride down wind and at anchor, trouble is practically all boat builders here are not time served, no nothing of design, pick up a pulse mig and away they go
@@akitas8165 I'd never buy a China man built boat. They're the copy cat masters. I just bought a NZ built aluminium boat and nothing compares. Buyer beware, if ever there was a hull warranty issue. Aussie and kiwi boats are built to last past the warranty. Chinese boats are built to last the warranty. I've seen a Chinese built boat at a boat show in Australia and it was a piece of junk.
I would be interested in speed, final prop and weight of this boat. I own a Parker 760 quest with a ProXS 225. The combination of such an engine and a boat of that size is just great......
Nice boat... hope the owner enjoys the enclosed comfortable layout..breeze flowing through the boat and out of the tropical sun....feels solid. Great jigging fnq set up but i love a rear set up and feel of the boat if your chasing barrels down south. Safe and snug. I'd be happy to do a lap around Australiawith the boat/ caravan
Honesty is the best policy and Seaking have been more upfront than most retailers who fail to inform consumers, you're buying off an Australian owned Company that's clearly selling high quality boats so why would this guy jeopardize his business and investment selling crap then not backing or standing by his products?? Funny I bet the guys complaining below are doing so off their Chinese made apple phone or similar or off a Chinese computer. Before hanging the Chinese completely remember that mighty Australia made an Americas Cup boat so well it sank. The 790 looks awesome, fantastic powertrain with an innovative and well-thought-out design. Great work Seaking.
The components manufactured by those companies all around the world are ultimately sent to just two companies to assemble into iPods, iPhones, and iPads. Those companies are Foxconn and Pegatron, both of which are based in Taiwan. You picked a poor example.
Trailcraft in West Oz used to build an awesome product ( Albeit a little hard riding at times….:) Seeking cheaper production costs and ultimately more profit they were outsourcing their builds to China. I went and had a look at one of the import boats and it was a sad, sad reflection of a once well regarded product. I’m always going to be a fan of a glass boat any day of the week, you never get electrolysis on a glass boat!.
Just don’t get hit by lightning on a glass boat, not being earthed that lightning bolt will find the sea somewhere through the hull and it’s generally under the motor. Ally boats are earthed for their full length.

Not at this stage. Only as we havent yet been able to get the boat in open water to test its current configuration. The weather has been consistently terrible. We hope to get a full review done in the next couple weeks.
Haha. But I did actually mean a pretty incredible prop made by Sharrow Props that is blowing everything else away in noise reduction and performance and fuel usage.
@@matui6983Sharrow props are about $5,000 last time I looked. Might be cheaper now. Some new variants of props are being tested which look interesting, they’re using the leading edge of a whale’s pectoral fin to model props with less drag and less cavitation for both air and water use. The leading edge of a whale’s fin is not smooth, it has lots of troughs and ridges.

job is earned , not given , look what happened to Holden , the more you give , the more they want , they lose the competetion because they have been given too much by tax payers .
Actually $25’400 For the blank 790 hull. That’s USD before options Usually ends up btw $50-65k Aussie dollars pending options. Hull only before shipping
We bought a brand new chinese imported horse float that at new looked just as good as the aussie made ones, but 7 years later it is now rusted and rotted away froom poor build and material quality with a manufacturer that's too far away to care.
Lots of negative comments! The word China fills people with thoughts of their construction methods from the 1960’s. They’re about to put a space station up, put a base on the moon, have the world’s biggest dam, make parts for prestige items like Apple products and having just bought a metric shite tonne of fishing lures, stainless ball bearing swivels and 12 strand fishing braid I saved hundreds of dollars and the hooks are sharp, their braid stands up to any Japanese or Australian braids & cost 25% as much, according to the Aussie Line Laboratory on UA-cam. Mine is a genuine query, I wonder if more than 50L of water is sufficient for a couple to venture out on to the reef for a few days. I’m thinking you’d need about 20L per person per day if they were frugal. You’d need a reserve too. Maybe 150 L could be an option?
Thanks for your comments and Yes mate - our thoughts exactly. This particular model is pretty much a standard layout direct from the factory. Our 2024 models will have increased capacity on both fuel and water. Stay tuned in early 2024 for the finished product.
You wrote this on something that had some origins in China. Sitting on a chair whose components came from China, with the air con on with parts made in China.

He has a right to be skeptical the Chinese have a reputation for cheap thrown together crap however that's usually because of their government and cheap cost of labor for factory workers.. if you have a good company who only hires good employees then yes the build quality should be fine and if it keeps the price down then all the better!
@bardoyoung3033 watch some videos of what the Chinese government is doing with regards to infrastructure and how quickly entire towns are built only to fall apart in 5 years.. there's no mistake that China does things for show and not for long term. However like I said that's more of a who's the person paying them that's the quality you'll get

Damned good looking and well designed aluminum boat. Wish they would start building fiberglass cats. Maybe they wouldn’t be close to a mill. Lol
It looks like the passenger seats are very low compared to the windows.
Very nice how much

How much is this rig mate pls?
Very nice looking boat 🚤 ❤
How much did this set you back for the whole boat?
Cheap $40k plus motor

beautiful looking boat
Magnificent boat.

Thanks mate. Its really something you need see and test drive. Appreciate the feedback. Regards Guy
What's the price
How much? Is this the YBS one? What’s the warranty?
I think the ybs is a Aussie made gensis and about $220k ,this $100k

At least this guy doesnt hide the fact its made in china. Might appeal to people that cant afford the extra 50k extra you would need for aussie made.

Great test, what rough seas
The 720 Review is in 20-25knots. They handle the rough very well
nice boat but lowrance is like dinosaur tech.

This is the same one as YBS
I saw one of these in Melbourne, in the flesh they look like absolute junk. Very poor build quality and I’m told it only cost $30K for the bare boat.
What's poor build quality about it?
Nice coffin good luck
It's nice
Either under powered or motor not properly trimmed, way to much front end still in the water on plane.
so why not buy a Aussie made boat ??
