Honestly after watching Bad Batch, battle droids and super battle droids only got severely outclassed in the other series due to plot armor. It’s the same thing with stormtroopers. When they get to shine they’re a menace.
Could've been, but not in that form. Kaleesh have a pretty long lifespan, and after becoming cybernetic, Grievous lost any aging related issues, and could've theoretically kept living provided his parts were maintained.
One of the only times in the show Grievous got to shine and show his true potential to be an unstoppable war machine. Just wish we got more of it vs the Republic.
he didn't though. This wasn't impressive, and I hate the fact that people act like it was. He literally just sliced apart some reanimated corpses and killed a handful of nightsisters.
Out of the many things I loved about this show is how Grevious was truly loyal to Count Doku. One of the best villains aside from Maul in the prequel trilogy.
Savage would probably lose to Grievous. He's a brute that has the force, he's not like Maul. Granted he held his own briefly against Sidious. Though he was more getting slapped and played with by Sidious so yeah. lol.
The famous rare Grievous win episode. It starts off with him losing. Hey remember when Kenobi in the original story was sent to kill Grievous because out of all the Jedi he had the highest chance for success OVER YODA due to him being the greatest master of defense, and Kenobi almost died anyway. Remember when Sidious was actually afraid of Grievous because he was a unmatched killing machine in lightsaber combat. Remember he is suppose to have a lightsaber collection of countless Jedi that he bested yet in the show he doesn't get to best a single thing that isn't a padawan. REMEMBER that Grievous killed Jedi before becoming a Cyborg from Dooku Scheme. REEEEEMEMBER THAT Magneguards that he trained are suppose to be able to best Jedi in combat. Just look how they massacred my Cyborg boi.
2:02 The green cloud is only present because of the army of the dead, there was no way for Dooku to know that. 2:12 Grievous finds it easy since he has the dead army next to him but I don't know what he would do if that army was further away.away from his sight
When you realize a non-Force user like Grievous wiped out an entire coven of powerful Force witches, and Merrin believes herself to be some kind of god, I just chuckle. Like, girl who r u kidding? That kind of proud, haughty attitude is EXACTLY why your sisters were massacred.
I just finnished fallen order, but where did she believe herself a god? Everything she said and did seemed more out of anger to the jedi, and to convince Cal to leave her home. the one with the god complex seemed that other dude there..

now i want a remastered version with Grievous' ROTS look
Tales of the Empire will have exactly that
@@guyfieri7189 that's precisely why I made this comment
The thing is that the droids ARE effective, its just they are usually fighting literal space wizards - and we see the war from their perspective.
They did well on Geonosis. Strength in numbers is their strategy.
Well they also fight against humans at their peak, trained from birth and there are even better ones than those like the commandos etc
"The clone wars is a kids show"
The clone wars: literal genocide
Crazy to think Merrin witnessed this, not a particular fan of the nightsisters since they did messed up thing but I feel for Merrin
4:09 me too. Although the night sisters are now extinct, especially mother talzin’s death in the comics.
How...exactly did they mess things up?
@@SteveCrafts2k
Waving their dick around like they had no rival. Very foolish of them to not expect consequences after trying to assassinate Count Dooku & meddling with Darth Sidious's plans. Granted, Sidious always saw them as a threat, and would have probably come for them either way eventually. But in that case, maybe put in some greater planning to take down their enemies instead of having zero caution.
@@tronovonflidder775 Let's not forget that in the EU they rode Rancors. That was so cool.
@@SteveCrafts2kThey were ride or die for their own.. However it tended to be in a clown car.
Man I just LOVE grevious in this episode and him in general especially this scene 3:14 if your going to be a leader in a fight YOU BETTER be in front of ur army and how better can you get when grievous is in front I also love how he has “some” compassion for his master most sith don’t do that they’ll see it as a opportunity to take their place but not my boy grevious
Never attempt to test or mess with Grievous. He will get very angry in a battle.
He relies on the fear of his enemies and his own anger to empower the sheer meme energy that surrounds him, giving him unimaginable power
The part at 4:02 when the Commando Droids squat into execution mode is coldddd
Maaan, the commando droids are so fricking cool
I would’ve liked it better if the transmission at 1:58 came mid fight and Grievous decided to stop wasting time and order his troops to attack
I’m surprised Grievous was able to fight off all the zombies and Nightsisters with just one battalion of super battle droids.
Why? It's General Grievous. Dude went toe to toe against Yoda with a single lightsaber.
@@tronovonflidder775 Yeah. While Grievous was defeated fairly quickly, Yoda was not able to eliminate him.
Honestly after watching Bad Batch, battle droids and super battle droids only got severely outclassed in the other series due to plot armor. It’s the same thing with stormtroopers. When they get to shine they’re a menace.
Petition to bring Grievous into the acolyte
It was not Dooku's destiny to die that day, because that privilege was for the chosen one.
Grievous is the Star Wars equivalent of doom guy
2003 grievous is
@@That_0ne_guy_FL
Shut it you.
@@That_0ne_guy_FL no, just any depiction of Grievous that wasn't made by Filoni or made to support filoni
The one time I actually cheered for grievous lol.
Too bad Grevipus wasnt around during the acolyte era
People thinking Grievous got nerfed out of the blue forget he got his lungs force crushed by Mace Windu in the 2003 cartoon
And? In Legends the movie happens right after that, so his only defeat was against Obi Wan.
Please send Grievous to Brendok next
The General did nothing wrong.
Grievous was just throwing hands against these people 😂
It's really weird to see Grievous to set out on a killing spree to save someone, but even then he just goes ahead and commits genocide anyway
How come I realised only now how Dooku has Sith eyes for a second at 2:51?
Anyone here after playing Jedi: Fallen Order?
Yep lol
Same here lol
Yah
Yep
2003 grievous would solo the entire sister clan on his own.
I would literally rewrite The Clone Wars just to fix Grievous, make him an actual threat
Old Daka actually wasn't killed immediately by Grievous stabbing her, which is impressive considering her age and speaks to how powerful she was.
Dear Grevious,
When you’re done, I’ve got another group of witches chanting about the power of many I’d like you to take care of. Thanks.
Who’s here after watching tales of the empire?
So this is what Merrin meant when she saw a “Jedi” kill her sisters.
4K makes this series even better
Much better than 1080p
They did Grievous dirty in this one....could have been an asajj and grievous moment both!
If we could bring Ki adi into the Acolyte.
Then we should be able to send Grievous in too :3
SO MANY LIGHTSABERS TO ADD TO MY COLLECTION!
Can't wait to see this scene again in tales of the empire
I wish we got more of Ventress and Grievous in the later seasons. I also wish we actually saw Grievous get a higher Jedi kill count in the series.
Savage oppress enters*
Grievous: gets yeeted *
To be fair, savage only has the force on his side, grievous is stronger, faster, more skilled and more experienced than the zabrak
Grievous bodyslams him
Savage would probably lose to Grievous. He's a brute that has the force, he's not like Maul. Granted he held his own briefly against Sidious. Though he was more getting slapped and played with by Sidious so yeah. lol.
The CIS on Dathomir: Your puny magick can't stop us, witches! We are machines, your power over life and death is useless!
Love seeing Dooku and Grievous being bros
Grievous save dooku life if it wasn’t him dooku would have been dead
Nobody ever expects the 8 foot tall robot spider with tuberculosis
My one gripe with the Night Sisters is that they should’ve kept their Lightsabers/Vibroswords from The Jedi Alliance DS game.
This is the closest we’ll ever get to 2003 Grievous.
Tales of the Empire: "Are you sure about that?
I can picture an infant Merrin being carried away by her mother, effectively saving Merrin from Grievous' assault
Grievous saved Tyranus his master’s life even though the entire Nightsisters were exterminated but only Merrin was left especially Ventress
I love this episode. Grievous fought for His Master Dooku
And then there're Ahsoka, Ezra, and Sabine who couldn't even cut down a single undead stormtropper.
Can't say I feel bad for them
3:58 neither am I.
I feel bad for Merrin though but think her life will be better for it down the line.
After what they did to Savage, Grevious did the galaxy a favour
The droids must be thinking, “Welp, he's gonna lose again!”😂
I feel a little sad for the nightsisters but having these witches extinguished was the best, i love when in sagas they make villains against villains
Here after the tales of the empire trailer! I think we will see Morgan’s perspective of this same massacre!!
0:55 Grevious didn't have his cape, that's why he couldn't win.
Imagine the clones fighting the nightsister zombies.
2:02 The green cloud is only present because of the army of the dead, there was no way for Dooku to know that.
2:12 Grievous finds it easy since he has the dead army next to him but I don't know what he would do if that army was further away.away from his sight
4:04 SO SATISFYING
Why?
@@rithikdhakshnamoorthy2974 because bx comando droids action and glory to the CIS .
@@rithikdhakshnamoorthy2974because we love seeing the dumb night sisters get slaughtered by the droid army Robots > Zombies
This is Grievous’s finest moment.
Grievous after 10 seconds of duelling Ventress: "enough of this!"
But with Cal she’s more humbled clearly
I just finnished fallen order, but where did she believe herself a god? Everything she said and did seemed more out of anger to the jedi, and to convince Cal to leave her home. the one with the god complex seemed that other dude there..
3:41 That dance the droid does before firing 😂😂😂
All he did was kneel
Count Dooku: You have done well, General.
General Grievous: Thank you, my lord.
I like how grevious spent a total of 5 seconds before he said "enough of this", like he got so tired so quickly
