A beautiful one bedroom house! I would want to add a half bathroom for guests. The layout for myself is perfect! I love the French door in the bedroom, having an outdoor space to sip on morning tea or a hot beverage. Personally, this is definitely doable. Great job rendering this home!
@TMStudio68 A tv on a fireplace is a bad idea for _many reasons._ Heat is bad for the tv. The cord can't be hidden. It's too high, so you're looking up for hours. It should be eye level from seated position. Holes drilled in brick and stone are not easy to hide when tv is relocated. Etc. Also, the fire draws cold outside air to replace air going up the chimney, so it’s inefficient. And fireplaces in small rooms leave few options for placement of everything else in the room. People have romantic feelings about fireplaces, but I wouldn't want the problems. Besides, after having a fireplace for a while, people tend to avoid the bother of getting wood, lighting and maintaining a fire. And cold outside air is not completely sealed by the flue, so you always have a cold draft if there is no fire.
It's not a "tiny house", but actually a good sized one-bedroom place. I'd eliminate the decorative fireplace so that the TV could be at a more comfortable height, and I'd eliminate the stools at the counter so I could have a table for four. I'd have a place for coats at the entry instead of the cabinet. Those details aside, this is a functional plan.
A lot of building codes in the US require a minimum of 500 feet for a detached houses. Anything smaller is considered tiny and is usually on wheels because of the codes. In the current situation, with housing shortage and expense, we need to rethink our codes and zoning to include smaller homes. Goodbye McMansions, hello bungalow courts.
Those are the exact same changes I'd make, except maybe the fireplace, since I usually watch shows on my computer anyway so I'm not too fussed about the tv. But definitely need a coat rack and shoe bench instead of that decorative case at the entrance. Overall a great layout though, and I like the modern cabin look. I bet this designer could make some great Scandinavian cabins.
Wow! What more does anyone need? You could even widen the laundry and put the bathroom in there, push the kitchen back and have a little more dining space and voila!
This is most definitely the retirement home for me! No herringbone for me. Some changes to furniture placement in the side porches, and build a utility shed with car port and its a go. Now how do i get the land and get this little slice of heaven? 🙏
Nice one bedroom one bath home with all a single or couple need. Has room for entertaining but no where to sleep a guest. Maybe a loft could be built for grandchildren sleepovers?
I don't want a access door to my bedroom. Not a fan of wood paneling. I'd want heating under the bathroom tiles. While the front entry is nice, it's not practical during cold weather. And, for goodness sake, how do you change out a burned out pot light at that height? Why can't the extra porch be located at the side of the house? I It's attractive, but very dark despite all the windows. I like the size for one person.
It’s nice but why waste space on the washer and dryer when a washer/ dryer combo could be included in the kitchen, leaving more space for maybe a proper entry hall, love the dressing room! That would seal the deal for me!
@ no more nuisance than having a dishwasher and a laundry room that’s away from the main part of the house, it’s designed for two people, so why would they need a utility room?
@@JaclynPoulton The rumble of a dishwasher is also annoying, but I'd prefer not to double it. The washer/dryer combo machines have a very long cycle time, much longer than most dishwashers. If you had this house built for you, you could put the machines in the kitchen.

@@TMStudio68 What software do you use to design the floor plan?

I love the front of this one. Please do another with a second bedroom. ❤
Perfect weekend getaway cabin or guesthouse. Needs a hot tub on the back deck. 😊

A very good channel, with great visions of thiny houses.

And which house can be considered tiny? Are there any official criteria?
@@vladislavandreev7257 I think 400 square foot or less is considered "tiny".

Real wood stove, no fake fireplace no fake woodstove.
You do realize this is a rendering and not a real house?
Super!

Nice storage. Take the small exterior door out of the living room and add it to the laundry room.
Bravo pooz iz Serbije❤

All this place needs is a hot tub. Perfecto!

Can u make one like this but with 3 bedrooms or 2 bedrooms
Add a loft and you could have a 2nd bedroom and office/guest room.

Tolles kleines Haus. Gerade recht für mich als alleinstehend. Wer ist der Hersteller von diesem Haus? Lg.
I would've utilized the space above the sleeping quarters as a loft for a small study, otherwise wasted space.

I, on the other hand, like the designated space for the washer and dryer.
In an open concept plan, a washer/dryer in the kitchen would be an annoyance, and combo units have a long running time.

Is this home actually for sale ?
👍
Stepin bathtub not shower
Eew you wash your body on a stagnant water instead of a running water?
Not much storage. That and I don't think I would want a door going from my bedroom to the outside. Nothing worse than fake fireplaces as well.
