  • This is the final episode of our series ‘Inishbofin in Lockdown’.
We’ve had incredible feedback on this project which has been really lovely.
We’d like to thank all of you who shared the videos on Facebook and various other channels. That’s how word spreads, so the shares have been invaluable. Sharing also helps to showcase our beautiful island home, of which we’re so proud!
‘Inishbofin in Lockdown’ was born out of desire to document a particularly challenging period in our lives on the island. A period that has challenged people all over the world.
We’ve been fortunate to not have had any covid related hospitalisations or deaths on the island, though unfortunately we didn’t escape the difficulties of a socially distanced funeral.
Today we speak to Pat Concannon of Inishbofin Ferry - a face that most who visit Inishbofin will recognise. Pat speaks to us about Coronavirus from both a business and personal perspective - we hope you all enjoy watching.
Sincere thanks again for all the support you’ve shown for our project!
'Inishbofin in Lockdown' is a Galway County Arts Office funded project, commissioned by Inishbofin CSP and produced by Kieran Concannon (C-Board Films)
    Music: www.purple-planet.com
Tracks: ‘Heavenly Waters’ and ‘Eternal Peace’
Social Distancing was observed in the making of all video clips #lovebofin

As an islander higher up the coast I salute you! The islands did wonderfully.
