James Coyne what a man, we must be distant relatives, There is a great beauty about the place yet it can be a very lonely sad place to live in, depending on what is happening in your life
Not at all. Maybe you do not understand in your shouty mood that what lockdown in Inishbofin means is that the island itself is in isolation so no one from outside the island can come there? A highly infectious disease in such a context and with so many old folk would be a disaster
That was great hearing from James and what he thought of the whole response to the situation of exposure to Covid-19. Lovely day you had there in the bog, dog, helper and brick wall. Cheers!
Just lit my turf fire on a different Irish island and resonate with this film. We were all locked down. I am immune deficient and cannot take the vaccine so I remain safe in peaceful isolation. Lockdown has saved countless innocent lives here and on all the islands.
During the Spanish flue on the Aran Islands the health authorities were informed that the supply of whiskey was running low and there was need for some more for flu treatment
Nice man love to spend a day on the bog helping him....just for the chat..God bless his hands and good health...pat midlands

Lovely film, well done. He's a great character
Here he is in a video from 2009:

The fact that they even locked down a place like inishbofin really shows how ridiculous the whole thing is
Thats it an absolute joke
It's all about control
@@michellemcdermott2026 No it's actually a pandemic, how haven't you heard about it? it's all over the news.

Looks like a beautiful place, and worth a visit, if they can tolerate an Englishman for a week or so!

Lockdowns have done no good at all
oh utter nonsense: no lockdown and no vaccine has saved ONE LIFE : your God given immune system saves or fail you
