I agree completely. And did you know that they've taken over 94 million from the VA to help the illegal aliens? The VA patients have enough trouble being seen and getting treated they don't need illegals coming and taking their rights and benefits. I believe people who are retired should get free Healthcare, and if they only own one home they live in should not have to pay property tax on that home, they've paid enough throughout their lifetime..

@dianasims6819 ,to some point, and the reason I say to some point is, I've known a few who were able to get disability because they couldn't handle the stress of working, and my point of view on that sort of disability is, who can?
Now if someone who is physically impaired and can't work, I can see a situation where that's valid, unfortunately people have a way of scamming the system, so I have to keep some of those opinions limited.

Please provide actual data on your claim. Medicare has been around for decades. The qualifications to receive Medicare depends on your age and work history. If you have worked and had Medicare deductions taken from your paycheck then you are entitled to receive Medicare.

How can anyone say medical care is costing tax payers billions of dollars? Where are our tax dollars going? For decades we have taxes deducted from our paychecks and have no proof of how that money is being used. However, you're being told your tax dollars are paying for the care of a sick child or adult and you're concerned with citizenship instead of them living or dying.
I would rather pay for medical care of those less fortunate than myself than give money to a convicted fraud and RAPIST any day.

Sen. Kennedy is completely correct. I have M. Advantage and my cost for that did go up with the Biden admin. I hope the senators keep this on their radar for I would hate to have to go full Medicare only.
My co pay for urgent care went up to 50.$ he lied mine is a PPO which means I don’t need a referral. Also my co-pay for a CT scan is now 300.$ I had a brain tumor and need to have a scan once a year. They’re such liars!!!! My co-pay for an ER visit is now 100.$! The problem is whenever I call my primary care provider now when I’m sick I can’t get an appt!
And that guy from California says they're extending it to beyond their lifetimes. So how come we keep hearing it's going to disappear by the 2030? And they keep upping the age to where you can apply for Medicare and go on retirement.

I have Medicare Advantage and IT sucks as it's costing ME more money than what it cost ME to have regular Medicare and and paying for private medical insurance... I am not eligible for any of the benefits that are supposed to go with Medicare Advantage like the food cards, money to help with my utilities, rent etc.

That’s right. Exactly what I found . I have Medicare and plan F supplement. People can no longer choose F. Insurance people told me not to give it up.
They didn’t expect so many people to go to these insurance companies and now are forcing them to raise their premiums to make it less affordable
I think what they need to do is cap what the pharmaceutical companies can charge for their products. I am on an immunosuppressive because of a combination of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. I take these injections every 12 weeks and they told me that these injections are over 22,000 each time. But if you go through specialty pharmacies like sendera pharmacy most of the time you can get these drugs for little to nothing. I tried to pass that information along to anyone who can use it. Hopefully it'll be useful to you guys.

Advantage plans are awful.
People choose them because they don't understand what they are getting or because it is all they can afford. The process is very confusing for many seniors. Traditional plans are much better coverage and choices.

I can assure you, the process and decision making is very confusing for many elder citizens. Especially those who do not have family to help them. Advantage plans greatly limit your choice of providers. Similar to HMO plans.
@@sbur4914They also offer plenty of PPO plans. I've been with Medicare Advantage for about 12 years, before that my wife's employer insurance. It was a seamless transfer. You just have to make sure that the plan accepts your doctor's. Luckily my plan does. This year I have had problems with a HUGH increase in my pain pump medication refill. It went from $35.00 to $450.00 every 3 months. They said it's because of the government. I don't know if that true or not.

Thank you Senator challenging the MEDICARE ADVANTAGE ! I was bombarded to change from my coverage, which I can afford and do not use Rx so don't need the program. My coverage includes same gym membership, and choice of agencies who use Medicare Complete. Unfortunately, many Doctors referred for me only accept Advantage for better payment of services.

We were cut off and were told biden cut off what was advantages plus, noe we are forced to do plain Medicare, last year I couldn't get help with over the counter or healthy foods. Now I'm offered 23.00 food stamp, plus Medicare a & b , pay for medications plus I'm screwed , I'm 65 this year, live off social security only, I need to pay mortgage, light and water. Now I cannot own a car, I am stuck home depend on public transportation. I cannt walk a distance. I don't want to leave this life yet.
