Yes, terminal 5 is and been international airlines for many years. I did not know there are some domestic flights out of there. Delta has many gates at terminal 2. Now I know Southwest has some gates at O'Hara now but maybe Delta moved over some flights to terminal. All of the internationals are at terminal 5. My British Airways and Air France is there. And there is one international airline on the domestic side but it shares with it's Star Alliance partner United in terminal 1 on the B concourse side. Lufthansa still glys the 747s and the big 4 engine 340s.
@@LMays-cu2hp delta moved all their operation to T5. T2 is being updated to new world terminal and should be ready in 2027-8

I flew that run many times and pretty sure that same airplane in the video when i flew for Skywest. Detroit based 2018-2019. Flew all three versions of CRJ, but the 7 and 900s are sweet.

Those clouds....were they causing turbulences?
Not really. Climbing was smooth. We hit rough turbulences 20-25 minutes into the flight. Lasted for about 15 minutes.

TBH I'm not really a fan of Delta's move to T5. I take the CTA into Ohare and it just ads another step to the process of getting to the gate because CTA doesn't connect to terminal 5 so I have to leave even earlier. And sometimes the ORD train is out of service. Also, there are just not as many options for food and drinks in T5. There's only the one Dunkin Donuts and no other option for coffee and the line in the mornings there is insane. But I don't fly Delta much anyway because there are rarely any direct flights out of Ohare to where I need to go.
I think T5 is terrible. Shame on ORD to have international terminal like that.
that s the one thing about Detroit to Chicago and vise versa,, you just go up and down you really never level off if so its for about 10 mins tops LOL you leave detroit you get to chicago before you actually left detroit,, Change from EST to CST of course LOL ;) but when you go from Chicago to Detroit you lose an hour so the time change makes it go like 1:40 mins LOl
