    Nice video. As a silver, I do get upgraded to Comfort+ often, I like the fact booze is still free.

    Excellent review, Andrew. Looking at all the dirt and trash that you found on your Delta flight makes me laugh now, because we all know there is at least one good thing about Covid-19 -- planes are cleaner now than they've ever been in the history of the aviation!

      Thank you! And no kidding, high-tech and thorough aircraft cleaning will hopefully change the industry for the better! 😄

    I really love DTW probably the best hub I laid over in! Flew IAH to JFK via ATL and DTW and would gladly go back and on the DTW-JFK leg we flew with crj 900 which seems odd for a intra-hub flight!

    I thought you said you were going to cut to the review and weed out the fluff at the beginning, but then you started talking about Coney dogs, LOL! Good review overall, thank you for posting! :o)

    Do you know any way of connection between McNamara Terminal and the North Terminal?

    • @andrewsaviation7792
      @andrewsaviation7792  3 роки тому

      Yes actually, there's a shuttle service that operates between the terminals every 10 minutes.

    I think the dirty aspect is more that this isn't really Delta. The regional jets are operated by separate airlines but use the Delta name (Delta Connection). I think the regional carriers don't put the same level of effort into passenger experience as actual Delta staff on true Delta flights.

      You're absolutely right that the responsibility of cleaning the aircraft falls upon the operators of the jet (in this case endeavor air I think), but they're still representing Delta's brand and cabin product.

      @@andrewsaviation7792They are/were wholly owned by Delta and are in the process of being absorbed into Delta now. The state of the cabin was probably due to many flights with short turns. Also it’s the same cleaners for mainline and EDV

    I don’t see much difference except for a lil extra leg room , but that might be a good thing

    Not worth it. In fact, of the three classes of available (Economy, Comfort Plus, and First), Comfort Plus is probably the worst value on these short flights. You would think first class is the biggest waste, but it might actually be the best value depending on a few factors.
    On short flight like that, buying first class from the get-go is probably only around $50 more versus a main cabin fare assuming you book it in advance.
    Where you get a huge advantage buying F is that you get your baggage included. You don't get that with Comfort Plus. Therefore, if you are checking baggage, it might actually be cheaper to buy F from the start if you don't have status.
    Bonus: your bags can be up to 70lb instead of 50lb too!

    Plane is filthy. And, Andrew, with all due respect, doing a review on any plane should mention NOT to touch anything in the pocket and the pocket itself,unless you bring your own Clorox wipes.
