Hello! Day 1 results were fluffy and pretty! I tried this gel and could not even get it to define my hair well. It did not work for me. NJ Eberhart also had a bad experience with this gel. I am glad to see it is not just me. Thanks for sharing this product and your results!
I definitely think it is for people who don't want their hair weighed down at all. It probably would work well for a twist out to give a little extra hold, but it's not strong enough for a wash and go on my course hair. Thanks for tuning in.
It was created for people with fine hair. No idea why NJ tried this in the 1st place as her strands are thick and her hair is dense
Your hair turned out like I thought it would, however I appreciate you trying it to let us see how it worked for your hair. I got it and love it with the Melonberry leave in. I’m also going to try with Kinky Curly Custard because it gives me a medium to hard hold. By the way I have fine hair.
Yeah, I didn't think it was bad considering my hair is course and needs a little more weight to give me the look that I want. But just in case someone with my texture wanted to use it, I wanted to share my experience. Thanks for tuning in and sharing how you like it.
I have fine hair and I got good results a few days but I was disappointed when I refreshed it after a few days! It flaked 😮. Great review 🎉

Hi Rae! I loved the fullness of your day 1 hair. I brought the gel and the leave in but I haven’t used it yet. I do have fine hair so I’m curious how my results will be. I have a protective style in my hair due to the summer heat and humidity 😬. However, I will eventually try it. I may pair it with UFD. Hopefully it won’t be waste of my money 😕 but I should have known better as you weren’t the only one that had unfavorable results. Blessings❤

I think it looked absolutely beautiful, but maybe that's just because I love big full fluffy hair!!! I do agree that it is specifically targeted towards finer strands, However it looks really good but I'm not sure how long it would last. This was a really good review Thanks.

Hi Rae your facial expressions said it all after coming back from being under the dryer. I want to purchase this from Adwoa Melonberry Gel so bad because I have never used this brand and my hair is fine and I might like it but I am in no hurry because the reviews I have seen weren’t all that promising 😅but after I deplete my stash to a comfortable amount of products I may try it. I liked the side with no leave-in too and I want definition but need volume so this maybe 🤔 great for me so I won’t have to wait till day 4-5 for volume and by that time my hair is getting frizzy and it is time to wash it again in 2-3 days after getting the volume I want. If I do I will do it with no leave-in and try your suggestion about adding some oil. I am not surprised with how your hair looks because I am learning that based on density and hair type some products may or may not work the same.
I think you would like this gel and since your hair is fine, you may get a lot more definition than I did, plus the volume you desire. Thanks for tuning in.
@@NaturalRaeRae Hi Rae I tried the Adwoa Melonberry Gel and it took several tries as I was getting severe flaking with the gel only and with using the Melonberry leave-in with the gel. I finally got it to work woohoo by adding only 3-4 pumps of gel only no leave in to each of my 4 quadrants and used a steamer while adding the gel so it would absorb into my strands since I am low porosity and after adding the gel and smoothing and raking I added my TGIN anti breakage serum to each quadrant and sat under the dryer and voila. I got definition and volume on day one and each day after more volume. Thanks for the oil suggestion it really worked. Next I will try it with the leave-in and the same process as above and will update you and let you know if I get the same results and if not I will just have to figure out what I can pair the Melonberry leave-in with 😅. Thanks again for your suggestions and comments. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for stating your honest opinion about the gel. Did the side with the Innersense leave in feel moisturized?
Both sides felt moisturized to me, but I started with really moisturized and hydrated hair.
Day one hair wasn't bad at all considering the gel wasn't designed for your hair. I definitely understand your wanting to redo on day two. That being said, If you had to do a quick errand you could actually go out with that day two hair. I imagine a day three would not be possible at all. Don't quote me, but I've heard that Adwoa is going to reformulate this gel based on the feedback they have received. Maybe the reformulated gel will work better.
I could have definitely made day two and possibly 3 work, but I wasn't going to get much more out of it. Thanks for tuning in.
Thank you for reviewing Adwoa Melon Berry gel, I would probably like the smell, but I am not sure I would try it. Like jolly ranchers i love the way they smell but I don't like the candy.

I have fine to medium hair but medium density. It was flake city. Like their other gel but didn't like it.
