Only because, everyone's hair is different so my 3rd day results doesn't really mean that someone else will get those same results. Multiple day hair depends on how it's kept up, the climate, the condition someone's hair is in, etc. Would love to hear why it's important to you. Thanks for tuning in.
@@NaturalRaeRaeyou weren't asking me, but I can tell you why I find it helpful. I look for UA-camrs whose hair type looks pretty close to mine. Your hair looks pretty close to mine, so if something works well for you, there's a good chance it will work for me. Day 3 is especially important because a lot of products don't make it to day 3 for me. So rather than spending money on a random product, I'd rather spend money on a product that worked well on someone with hair that looks close to mine. Hope this makes sense. 😊

It could be true that the products would work well for someone with hair like mine, but it could also be true that they won't because if that person doesn't care for their hair like I do, or their wash day was different than mine, or their climate or health is different than mine, their hair still may not last 3 days. That's all I'm trying to get people to see. More than the products factor in to whether or not your hair will last a certain amount of time, but I do see your point. Hello! Yes, I have tried the strong hold gel but I did use a leave-in underneath. I did not have good results either. In Pattern's defense, it does not say to use this product for wash and gos but for slick back styles. I now know it may work a little better without a leave-in. I do like the results you received with this technique. Thanks for the revisit and sharing your experience.
I used it with and without leave-in & the hold for me definitely was not strong.. I also got flakes both times 😩😩 I didn’t get upset bc it’s not necessarily for wash and gos, but I did return it bc I need more hold from a strong hold gel! I’d rather use the custard for my fluffier wash and gos.. Thank you for sharing, it’s always a pleasure watching your videos! 💕

Most likely I won't try it since I have a few that I really enjoy in rotation so I don't need any new stylers.

I tried the gel and it reminded me the consistency of wetline before the formula change. I didnt care for it. I really prefer a gel that glides through my hair. Here lately I have been getting great wash n gos with sexy hair concepts calm in leaf spray leave in, Camille rose curlmaker, topped with innersense i create hold. I went and bought that silk elements heat protectant because of you and i applied that after the leave in and I really like it. I rake and praying hands in all different directions since I dont like hair in my face anyway and diffuse. You should try genedor beauty moisturizing styler. Great so hold gel, leave hair shiny. Not sure if they still sell it at jc penneys or not

I want to love Pattern products. But don’t love this gel so far…did have flaking ( thanks for the tip) AND I need more hold/ definition on day three…BUT love the hydration shampoo and the treatment mask!
Hi Robin! It's perfectly okay to want more hold and definition. I really like the cleansing shampoo, treatment mask and mousse. The gel isn't a fave but it is not a bad gel if someone is looking for more volume and no crunch. Thanks for sharing your experience with the products and for tuning in.
Hi Rae thanks for the review it was a fluffy wng but cute and wow it still had that much definition on day 3 even though it was spongy to the touch and I could tell if you had stretched it more I think it would have frizzed more. Yes I have finer hair so it would probably work better for me but Pattern Beauty has never been on my radar to purchase even though I have heard only good thing’s especially about the detangling nectar which in the future if I were to purchase something from the line that would be it 😊

I definitely thinks it works better alone and on soaking wet hair for a wash and go, but you are right, it is marketed for slick back styles.
