I just got one but for some reason i can only feel the rumble on the right side when i adjust the rumble level. When i try the left side it doesnt rumble. 😢
Honestly LOVE my Crystal Pink Nitro Deck 🥰 idc if it came late in the Switch’s lifecycle. I didn’t previously have any other Switch controllers besides the joycon that came with it; so, very worth it to me! Super comfortable to hold for long periods & I love how the face buttons feels. Only wishes: I wish the triggers were more click-y & I wish video output would work with the Switch in the Nitro Deck if you just plugged it into the front USB ports on the Switch dock 🙃 also, HD rumble would be nice, but the new rumble adjustment is nice to have.
Ignoring the right stick placement what's more comfortable, this or the hori split compacts? I find myself wanted more of a lump at the back to hold onto.
This doesn't look as comfortable, I have Hori compacts (purple Pokémon ones if that matters lol) and they're really nice but you have to remember they don't have rumbles are wired only, no gyro or amiibo. Which might be a lot of compromises for some, personally I don't care at all.
To be honest, your previous experience and personal preference will determine that. I find it supremely comfortable to the point the weight disappears into my hands, and I do not even notice that I am supposed to believe it's not "ergonomic,"; this is because I have always used the Joycons, as I never played the Switch docked, but more like a huge "portable" handheld device. Now it's even bigger, but way more "ergonomic", though I never had a problem with the Joycons, since that is all I knew and got used to. Only feature lacking due to its nature is Amiibo support (I do not have any, so it's fine, but understand it as a possible con for some) and the obvious lack of system wake up with the home button, etc., which isn't a big problem to me.
@@128KBA v2 taking care of this stuff would be nice. I also wish they allowed completely disabling the LED or a timed off. I hate having it on all the time.
Another Code, just came out. It's a remake of 2 games from the Nintendo DS & Wii. It's slow but a lovely game/heavy focus on story and simple puzzles etc
Well can they update the Right Thumbstick to be in a better position? It sits too low and directly under the Face Buttons, so yea good luck playing Super Mario Wonders without hitting that thing!
Is this a TOP PAID COMERCIAL OR WHAT? The truth is always going to be the right way to gain subscribers. The main issue is that does not work for really competitive games like fighting games, it sucks so hard that I rather playing with joy con drift than the nitro deck controllers. The dead zones are there, even if you calibrate, there is another channel that shows the truth, I said WTF let's see what does it do... And yeah, that guy was right, does work for fighting games, I forgot to test it for Fortnite, the stick drift is there and the thing is quite heavy. Do not believe everything you here from this guy. Is a waste of time buying this thing.
The nitro deck is currently my favorite switch accessory and this update made it even better ❤
Yesss! :D
Nitro deck my beloved
Do you think this fidmware update will stay connected to the switch, because mine kept on disconnecting and I had to return it.

compacts are more comfortable but massively lacking in features, I'd still choose the nitrodeck personally.
Nitrodeck is extremely uncomfortable to hold. I have one. Go with a skull n co or satisfye those are way better

The trigger settings and no deadzone mode are cool. I still think the thing is uncomfortable.
Yeah they're great additions! I'd love a v2 with better ergonomics myself but still love the Nitro Deck!

Do the triggers work in mario sunshine the same way the gamecube pad does?
No. The Switch recognizes it as a pro controller
What game are you playing please on this video

If you're in the US it may be called Trace Memories
@@128KB awesome thanks I’m from the uk but I’m sure I’ll find it great video as always
I’m getting a review model of the crystal and I’m getting my preordered Satisfye Ronin. Gonna be a touch decision on what to use I’m sure.
Which one u choose
@@loitersquadX overall chose the Ronin. Like the easy of docking it vs the nitro deck. That may change with the new deck releasing soon though.
@@mdgiebel i want the new nitro deck because its like a wii u!!
Is their a way I can keep the wired mode the og method and keep the other updates
Sadly not :(
Thank you 😔
Can USB C on nitro deck connect directly to TV mode without dock ?
No
Been playing borderlands and the no deadzone is so much better
It made me stop playing borderlands it was so rough the first go around haha. Makes me want to order another one.
I still feel like the placement of the thumbsticks are terrible.
The right one isn't very ergonomic, I agree. I really enjoy the Nitro Deck other than that right stick placement.
Nitrodeck or retroflag?
I've got a comparison video: ua-cam.com/video/hcaxSMUnr00/v-deo.html
Great video thank you.
What case would you recommend for the Nitro Deck and have enough room for the charger in?
Thank you for this informative review

I'd love the v2 to have better right stick placement for better ergonomics but I haven't had an issue playing Wonder with my Nitro Deck!
@128KB Bro play some Quake 2. That should give you a good idea how bad us FPS gamers feel.
Cant update because i only have mac, THEY MUST FIX THAT NOW!!!
suck i can not buy in malaysia
That sucks :( not even from AliExpress?
