FF9 was my first FF game and I don’t regret playing it! It was so good and I couldn’t wait to fight Trance Kuja too! the story was amazing but too except for the card section but everything else was so much fun. Ark was just really hard to get cause of that Ozma boss!
I'd like to see something different for XVII, slightly more light-hearted or completely unseen setting for FF, surprise us. Sadly, I think they'll just forever continue down the ever more serious path trying to grab other audiences
something that a lot of people don't know about (reflect) is that it can only reflect a spell once. So if an enemy has reflect on. Cast reflect on a party member and have that same party member attack themselves with a magic attack to throw the spell at the enemy. You can also cast a group healing spell off the reflect of the enemy to get a stronger healing spell back.

He is just Evil because he is the Villian thats it There weren't any major reasons why he wanted to destroy the world, just because he's evil and it had to be. (that, doesn't mean FF7, is crap for me it was the 3rd best FF game i ever played next to FF12) BUT Kuja's backstory Is much bigger and better written and just as Zidane himself said at the end, if he had been Kuja everyone would have acted the way he did. Kuja's whole character has more depth than Sephiroth and therefore he is also a much better and more interesting villain. Something I liked with FFIX: While the game was never particukatly hard, it could still fuck you over even at high levels because most bosses didn't ONLY rely on brute strenght to kill you. I actually lost to Necron once with a team of levels 80+ (Zidane and Steiner were level 99)
My team was zidane Freya Vivi and Ekio I didn't have trouble because my level and I learned every attribute for each characters my characters were all 99 well you can still beat the main two main bosses at a level 56 or higher it's all about the game and how you play it
Betcha didn't know a thundaga cast on your whole party post-focus, using reflect to bounce it to the enemy, nullifies his reflect and does more reliable high damage than meteor and comet. I used to use elemental spells like this to kill enemies like the grand dragon in 2 or 3 turns
dragon's breath deals damage equal to total enemy hp lost and caps at 9999, If you don't feel like killing 100 dragons to max dragon's crest it's probably your best option in later boss fights for Freya it does have a much higher mp cost though.

actually the reason was to make the battle last little bit longer lol, you see how freya did 5000k+ damage to kuja, and Vivi around 9000+ in a single flare, too bad the meteor and comet miss. Zidane ewould easily do 6000+ damage per attack.
Uploader already said in multiple comments that he was trying to make the fight longer because using all the most powerful moves would end the fight in a very short amount of time.

Wich is basically true for every RPG ever. If you grind, the games main bosses become basically fodder.
The auto abilities made the game boss fights easier, especially if you were slower in selecting your next moves or didn't know the attack patterns.
