The first 30 seconds of this video tell the tale of EXACTLY why so many of us consider Ronnie such a wonderful old friend. He always made the time to reach out and make us feel like we were coming home when we went to see him. It's like I was going to spend time with an old friend.
Badass. This, my UA-cam friends, is metal, the way it was meant to be. Killer riffs, a rhythm section that drives a brutal pace, vocal that have both power and thought, all combined with a stage presence unequaled by anyone else. Like I stated, BADASS.
No, they shouldn't have because calling the band "Black Sabbath" at that point would have had people expecting Ozzy, plus Bill Ward on drums. Bill Ward clearly had no interest in touring with anything but the original blokes. After RJD and Appice left and formed Dio, Ward came back to record "Born Again" with Ian Gillan but again bailed on the band as he did between Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules, replaced this time of all things by the drummer from E.L.O.
This is amazing. I'm so grateful to have seen Ronnie both with Dio and with Sabbath. The likes of this will never be seen again. There are three people who don't like this. I will personally deal with each of them.
Watching Dio/Sabbath play on videos from youtube all i can say is this : "Dio can you hear me? I am lost and so alone. I'm askin' for your guidance. Won't you come down from your throne?"
One of Iommi's best riffs IMO. Has a rock n roll feel but still very dark and nasty. Iommi is an absolute legend and got to play with so many great singers. All the lineup changes make for great variety in the catalogue. Love them all.
Il vit à fond ce qu’il chante, Ohhh 💕him gesture is fantastic🎶👋Where is the « LORD💋💁 » RONNIE, RONNIE 🙏Wonderfully 💋🔥2022 a pleasure listen , Seeing HIM🔥
Such an amazing band with Dio. He is "THE" VOICE of HARD ROCK. I grew up with him, listening daily some song from him. Now, at 55, I did a DIO tatto near my heart, to be with him the rest of my life. Long Live the rock'n roll!
I remember them playing in Sheffield on this tour but I didn't go. Big mistake. Back in 2007 I was 39 years old, and not many of my favourite bands or singers were dead. 11 years later it's a different story. I missed seeing Ronnie, which I regret now because he was a legend. Sorry, is a legend. All the stars who have died in the last few years makes me sad. I really did think they would live forever. Lemmy, Chris Cornell, Jeff Hanneman,Chester Bennington, and non-metal stars like Prince, Bowie, Tom Petty. All great musicians to me.
VooDoo dose do this last time was comp lag i picked up all the major and deviding spectrums i had your backs now act like me haven to walk thru this hell heat here was nothing do a u turn and give me a chance i know this pisses me off you dont even know
Omg I grew up with Sabbath Dio an Ozzy exchange... Ozzy chose the high tech road as in Randy Rhodes.. Jake..then Zak? Still live Ya Ronnie as a vocalist with Toni.. I was back stage @ kemper arena in Kc an a scroll screen ran the Lirics on stage as a Monitor for all Ozzy's songs.. Still do!
4:07 What in Heaven or Hell is that? Totally different sound from Iommi. He could have kept going with that bizarre trill jam improv for a while. Love it! Why does this video sound so full when some other Sabbath live vids are sometimes a little thin? The engineering is fantastic.

It´s true
I met him in Phoenix. An extraordinarly humble man. I had a hard time containing myself. Near the top top of vocalist.
Geezer Butler bass sounds as a TANK!!! GREAT!!
So are his lyrics.

Tony Iommi king of riffs
"This is something that Geezer brought back with him ... one of his frequent trips to the dark side"
Hey!
I'm portuguese. So please, can you translate all dialogue between Dio and Geezer in this vídeo for me?
"Isso é alguma coisa que o Geezer trouxe com ele em uma de suas frequentes viagens ao lado negro..."
I will never ever stop loving the Butler - Appice combo!!!! !!!!
From one of the greatest rock albums in history.
R.I.P Ronnie 🤗
Best bass ever!
Handsworth is definitely one of the darker sides of Birmingham 😂👍
They should have called it Black Sabbath and Told Ozzy and Sharon to should their opinions up their arses, Iommi is Sabbath
Sharon sucks ars,Sabbath did just fine without Ozzy
