    I watched this movie over and over again when I was a kid. So funny and entertaining. This made Hungarian dance no 5 my favorite classical piece to this day.

    Csárdás is a genre of Hungarian folk music, played in a "Csárda" (old hung. word for tavern), and this particular track is Hungarian Dance No.5 by Brahmes.

      @@andreinybakken9252 my mom has an old friend whose current husband is Hungarian and therefore their two kids are half Hungarian. And one thing I found out, they sure love spicy food. And by the look of your name, I'm guessing you're Hungarian, so you can tell me whether you love spicy food or not

      @@scotthamp384 Good for him😃 My family is from Transilvania, so it's mixed with Hungarian and Romanian heritage, wiith some schwab/German in there somewhere. I do enjoy spicy food, although I can't stomach much of it. Hungarians put paprika on nearly everything, and I used to work in a typical Hungarian cellar restaurant(albeit without a live csárda band). I miss those typical csárda places at Balatonföldvár and Szárszó, where they have their own pálinka wine cellars.

      The movie is a bit incorrect though, as the term _THE_ Csárdás refers to Vittorio Monti's piece and not to Brahmses Hungarian Dances

      @@ShaimingLong well, the only two cast members I'm very impressed with the characters they played as Leslie Nielsen and Mel Brooks. And also, unlike Blazing Saddles, they didn't try to make every scene in this movie funny as hell

It originated in Hungary and was popularized by Romani music (Cigány) bands in Hungary and neighboring lands of Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Burgenland, Croatia, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Transylvania and Moravia, as well as among the Banat Bulgarians, including those in Bulgaria.

    I always loved this part. It's my favorite Leslie Nielsen movie. I couldn't believe it at first when I heard that he died. I'll miss him a lot.

    I bet amy yasBeck and leslie Nielsen had a blast filming the dance scene since Dracula is a vampire and vampires can't see their reflections when they look in a mirror while Dracula and mina were dancing in front of that big mirror it looked like mins us dancing by herself

      No. Csardas is a general term for that type of deep tune which is used in the dance. The song, written by Johannes Brahms is called "Hungarian Dance No. 5".
