The funniest part is Frankenstein's Monster is incredibly in character in this movie. In the books he hunted down Frankenstein because he was basically disowned at birth, and Frankenstein is the only one who could have given him a woman so he wouldn't be lonely. In this version Dracula is the one who did that before Frankenstein even got the chance.
Having Frankenstein die was basically a wife finding out they can't conceive. He was their only hope. He was the vessell required for Dracula to breed. A living/Undead catalyst. Because Dracula is actually dead he can't create anything. Frankenstein was a surrogate.
Frankenstein: "Good God... I would kill myself before helping in such a task!" Dracula: "Feel free!" Well, I'll say this for Dracula, he doesn't beat around the bush.
