Spurs fan here. Really good. Your pod deserves a lot more listeners. As a 30 something myself it's nice to listen to three mature gentlemen just talking about football without any ads or click bait nonsense. Thankyou. More guests please.
Im a 60 year old Hatter and watched us many times in the old first division ....Pleat's teams and style of football in the 80's were full of quality, spirit and bravery....we mixed it with the big boys for 10 years with players like Stein, Foster, Hill, Harford, Donaghy....the list goes on...best Luton manager in my life time....Pleat set the way Luton want to play to this very day
Great listen. Pleat is so knowledgeable and that also came across when he did radio co-commentary work. I always thought he retained a strong feeling for Forest and it’s a shame he never managed us. He didn’t talk about it but he came back to Forest to do an advisory role when Nigel Doughty was chairman.
Super interview; I understand there's a balance to be struck with the questions so that the past & present are contrasted but I just think there was one question that wasn't so necessary, as David had already answered on injuries being treated then & now / medical standards, only to be asked it again when he'd moved it on to another topic.
He goes on about the great work being carried out spurs with there youth system really actually not for spurs it's not,I can barely name one player who's gone through there ranks that's made it in the first team for a whole season in the past twenty or thirty years now that's dire, pleat loves to talk
The medical facilities in stadiums today is poor today. How many clubs have a mini medical theatre, Xray mri and a top doctor at the day of the match to diagnose... They go straight to the hospital...Look at Paul Lake ex man city,,,, Here in USA they have top doctors. Lake was treated badly, and many more players will follow
No such team as THE arsenal or THE villa. Sheffield Wednesday was officially called The Wednesday from 1867-1929. We can use it... any others just sound stupid 😄
Luton fan since 1964. What a joy to listen to men with a love of the game
As a LTFC supporter best manager we ever had. The football was great with great legends. Great stuff guys.

I don’t usually leave comments on UA-cam, but I felt the need to say this was an absolute wonderful watch. Cheers guys!

Thank you David for the hard work you did at Wednesday before Danny Wilson Destroying one of the best group we have had at Hillsborough
