I'm still rocking the A7R3 as it is my first sony full frame camera. I've been debating getting the FX3 as my first video-focus camera. Just hesitating about pulling the trigger. I want to sell my a7r3 to upgrade to the 7r5 and possibly sell my 24-70GM mark 1 for the mark 2. I'm not sure if I want to sell my 70-200 GM mark 1 for the mark 2.. how are you liking the FX3? and did you end up getting the a7r5 or fx3?
i want the a7m4, I'm too poor to waste €200 on cards or buy a 3k euro camera to shoot on 15 megapixels (I've been using an A77M2 for 9 years and it's already falling apart)
Oh, the sacrifices you make at 61 megapixels. The truth is, if you are not a professional wildlife photographer or sports photographer who would just get the A9iii, you don’t need a higher frame rate, when this thing locks focus, every, single, frame.
A7RV for photos where quality is the most important thing, but an R5II if I'm also shooting sports, video or need a hybrid camera with good photo and video specs
Mostly the A1 but the A7RV prioritizes resolution and image quality so if that's what your after, the A7RV might be better. Plus it has a few extra features just because it's brand new and the A1 is a couple years old
Certainly this camera will do everything those will do and more so unless you absolutely need 2 cameras (redundancy or to have 2 different lenses) you could trade in both. Otherwise trade in the RIII for this and hang on to the A7III as a backup

Currently. The review units are on pre-release firmware though and autofocus is most definitely something that can be improved via an update. We shall see when the retail units go out. I don't think it matters all that much anyway. There's no discernible difference between them in terms of image quality and if you're already bought into Sony or Canon you aren't switching thousands of dollars in kit for a single body.

The 5fps burst rate with the mechanical shutter is really disappointing.

The only massive upgrade to me on this camera is the price after tax. Didn't go that far from my 3400 a7r2 from a decade ago
It's really the video side that improved. Other than autofocus, photography tech has been stagnant for quite a while

Tony and Chelsea clearly showed 2 years old Canon R5 still has much better Autofocus than Sony A7R5.
I found the A7RV subject recognition was better but autofocus in general on the Canon R5 is absolutely amazing

@@mdc123-v2v this is just reasoning , there mighty improvement but still R5 takes the cake . Canon autofocus is another level , Sony is amazing too ..
