I have a 2014 Ford Raptor with Cooper stt pros. It's a daily driver. I purchased the truck with 84,000 miles on it, over two years ago. The tires were already worn down a good bit from new at time of purchase. However, I now have 132,000 miles on the truck and still have some life left in the tires. I have taken them off road numerous times, through mud, rocks, rivers/creeks, snow and gravel. They have never let me down AND I have never had to air them down. I have not had them in sand yet though, so I have no input there. So how I see it, they have got me out of every situation I've been in, including been buried deep in the mud up to my head lights and they have excellent wear and haven't cupped or worn weird at all and I now have about 50k miles on them since I purchased the truck and they weren't new at that time. So they last a long time, they aren't loud on the street, they offer excellent traction in any situation and they are in my opinion one of the best looking tires out there. That being said, I am now faced with needing a new set of tires soon and really want the Coopers again, ut I'm having a hard time finding them. So I may be forced to try the Mickey's. I'm running 35x12.5r22s. I also have a set of Nitto mud grapplers on a set of 17s, they are LOUD on the street, so I don't run them much unless going off road!

I have Baja Boss 35x12.5x20’s on my 4th gen Ram 1500. Had them for a nearly 2 years now and the tread is amazing. They handle all sorts of terrain like a dream (dirt, mud, rocky, wet, etc) while also being great for daily driving to work. No issues.

I'm running the Baha Boss in a 37 12.50 17 on a jeep jkur. All I can say is Holy Crap! These things are BY FAR the most capable tire in the Ohio mud. Clean well and fantastic traction. I went to Redbird SRA recently and was going through some nasty mud that I thoufg for sure I would be witching out of and it walked right out. I'm talking 3 feet deep easily and never even struggled where my previously owned Patagonias would have had me out in the mud pulling line. I've never used the STT pro and actually would have if they were in stock at the time I purchased them, but boy am I glad I got the Baha Boss! I'll not be running anything else anytime soon.

I can vouch for the Cooper STT PROs, ive ran a set on my chevy 2500hd for 6 years and they wear like iron and are quiet for a mud tire! Still got alittle more than half tread with over 20000 miles of use and they are phenomenal in deep snow, ice, rock, and dirt.

I have a set of stt pro's on my 96 Dodge Ram with a 2" lift. They are only 33-12.5-15 but I love everything about them! Been through some deep mud, climbed some good size hills and drive the truck daily. Only problem I have had is they are not good in shallow hard packed snow ❄️ I would recommend them all day because they give me about 2 mpg more than the last tires, not very noisy and I have never gotten stuck where I wasn't able to get myself out fairly easily!!

In my home alone, we have both. On our 81 CJ7 we are running the cooper stt pros. It’s a crawler mostly but does hit the street occasionally. On my 98 Jeep TJ I’m running the MT Baja boss in a 40 inch sticky. It is also mostly for crawling but sees occasional road use. The Baja boss in a sticky performs amazingly. They have a slight edge so far on the STT pros. But this could also be drivers. Both are absolutely the best tires I’ve owned. I also run the Baja boss on my 1ton swapped 98 Dakota sport in a 37” non sticky. As for that, it’s a daily driver and occasional crawler/overland rig. Best tire I’ve ever purchased as far as wear, trail grip, mud, and snow. I have had most extreme mud terrain tires. From boggers to radials. Both the STT pro and the Baja boss are the only two tires I will purchase. My bias is towards the Baja boss. But my buddy who runs the coopers, is set on them. I guess it’s preference. I’ll be ordering 2 tires next month with some new wheels for my dodge from trail built. So, if your looking for some serious builds to sponsor.....

I know it's been quite some time. I just put Discoverer STT Pro 305 65 17 on my 2007 FJ. I love them. The way they handle and climb along with regular trips to the supermarket. One problem. I have a 3” inch lift, 1.25 spacer, and BMC on both sides for proper fit. I still run into a rub issue on the driver side when pulled hard left. Is it possible to damage the structural integrity of FJ by grinding down more with 4 1/2 grinder or smacking it up with a knockout and heavy lineman's hammer?

We love our 37's on our 1 ton overland rig. We are considering 40's, but are having ply rating and weight questions. But depending on the trip, our weight can get as high as 11,400 lbs and they are wearing fast. But they drive great, handle well under hard braking and windy roads. Not so great on ice/hardpack, but not too shabby in deep snow! They are sooo good in harsh and rocky terrain though. My only complaints are wear and not good on ice. Tahoe/Reno area.

Have the Cooper STT, 295's on 18 inch wheels on a '16 Ram Cummins. I run them at about 48 psi front and rear. Makes the sensors angry but doesn't seem to cup as bad. It's my daily driver and I like how they perform on and off road, but the first time they touched snow, I knew I was going to have to order new snow tires. Got them for hunting in the mountains in Colorado, but since half the hunting season is snowy, probably wasn't a good choice.

The Toyo sidewalk just looks so damn good to me. Atturo got a new my tire out looks pretty damn good to should check that one out.

My next tire will be the cooper sst pro.
I currently have mickeys baja legend exp 37x12.5x17. They are good in most terrain except packed snow/slush. Theyre not aggressive enough to bite. Everything else, they do very well. Dunes, mountain trails, rocky sand trails, desert, soft sand, ice.
The sst pro will be on 37x13.5x17. The wider profile looks really nice.

I've gone through 2 sets of Cooper STT Pros on my 2015 duramax in 38x13.50 configuration. First set netted me 55k miles and second set was on the same pace before I started having front end issues. Chose to stop rotating and just buy 2 new fronts when I had all my front end parts in. Well, front end rebuilt and now I can't find my size Coopers ANYWHERE with no date expected from Cooper. Looking at either 38x15.50 baja boss or 40x14.50 baja legend mtz. 🤔 sounds like I wouldn't be going wrong with the baja boss.

I forgot to mention that I got a nasty puncture on the tread of all places. 2 inch gash! Nothing crazy either just driving logging roads during hunting season. This was also on the second set and one of the fronts so it was getting replaced anyways but still, left me kinda uneasy regarding the tire.

They make a truck more of a truck + the stock Tacoma tires suck Goodyear Wrangler territory with Kevlar. Just the Cooper E-rated is 15lbs heavier than stock tires.

Cooper in mud I would give them a 7 out 10, cause they really don’t clean much. I found they gummed up a lot. Mickeys I would give them a 5 or 6 out of 10. Same issues but I found didn’t pull as hard in the mud. Cooper I found liked to dig down and mickeys just stayed on top causing me to slid around a lot. On rocks I would give them both a 8.5 out of 10 for both. Mickeys a slight edge on smooth rock. M’s wore flat and the C’s scalloped, both got the same mileages. “12” Jku dedicated weekend warrior and drive to work vehicle. Ps I live a few miles or Kms from work, 10 min drive. For both tires I ran 35,s with r17’s then went to 37’s for the 13.5’s, wide but only for the coopers. I run procomp mt2 now. I live in eastern Canada, aka New Brunswick. I share a border with Maine.
