    Well, that was an absolute pleasure to watch and such a refreshing change from the barrage of UA-cam clickbait drama shows. Just peace, quiet and tranquility. Great to see you treated to those stunning conditions, too. Class video 😎Subscribed. Best wishes 👍

    Fantastic shots are absolutely beautiful. Thanks very much. It does a man's soul good to be humbled by such beauty. To be at the pinnacle of creation high in the cloud covered waves of snow covered mountain's.

    Wow, what an amazing,

      It has to be said I haven't had conditions this good in winter for a very long time I hope the cold weather holds on a little longer for everyone to get a chance to enjoy it! Thanks for dropping in all the best 👍🏻

    What an awesome camp mate. You really got lucky with the weather, how serene. You just can't accurately convey to people who have never experienced it, the feelings you get on a camp like that.
    Awesome video matie.

      I've tried so hard to explain to people why we do what we do but always struggle. Maybe if people see scenes like this it will encourage them to brave the cold for a little reward ! Tha ks for stopping by take care stay safe out there !

    Well mate what can you say...that sunset must have been incredible in person its almost emotional & then the sunrise too it makes all that climbing & blowing so so worth it..incredible scenes Luke..
    Been up pillar several times buy yet to camp it..tried for it last month with Steve the same route you took but we were beaten back by high winds so retreated down to the tarns lower down..Still a great camp but I'll be back to get that pillar camp in..
    Great vid mate really enjoyed that one..stay safe..Andy..

    Fantastic. What views you were treated too. That sunrise 👌 Pillar is one of my favourites. I've been up many times, but never camped....it's on my hit list 😊 Wind Gap is a great scree decent, but it is loose, isn't it 😬😆 Top video mate.

    Great video as usual Luke 👍 So glad that clag cleared for you and when it did, Wow! Awesome footage and what a sunrise that was. You can never be sure how things will turn out and you were certainly blessed on that camp. Never done any winter camping as yet but will definitely be doing so, inspired to do so by videos like yours. Nice tip about the freezing tent poles by the way, keep the tips and advice coming, it's much appreciated!

    I've seen quite a few photos from this region, but your footage beat all of those. You were so lucky to catch such a beautiful sunset and sunrise. Well done! I can't wait to go camping (and filming) again. We've been so busy with a move, followed buy yet another unexpected move, that I haven't been out at all anymore. Nothing beats camping in the middle of nowhere, right? :)

      @BooniesPeaks  9 місяців тому +1

      Thanks so much I couldn't believe the drone footage when I got home and reviewed it I feel very grateful for being there at that moment, right time right place 😀 sometimes that's just the way things go but I'm sure you will be back out in no time get in touch with some links to anything your film ahead for me to watch! All the best 👍🏻

      Thanks for the quick reply :) Yes, you really were super lucky. I fly a drone myself wherever I'm allowed to. Many places I camp at are wilderness areas that don't allow drones, unfortunately, so you are super lucky to be able to fly in the Lake District. If you want to see any of my trips, just head over to my channel to check out backpacking, kayaking/canoeing, and winter camping trips. But hopefully, I'll get back out on the trail in a couple of months (or perhaps before our move) Take care. You have gained a sub for sure, and I'm looking forward to more videos from you as well :) @@BooniesPeaks

    Great video. Nice to see great footage and a sensible length too. Can I ask what camera did you use for the ground footage please and how is it held? Gimbal or self stick type thing? Just curious as quality is great 😊
    Plus you have another sub 👍😊

    • @BooniesPeaks

      Thanks so much for dropping in and subscribing it's hugely appreciated. I use a GoPro 11 with an external Sennheiser Microphone and media mod attachment. It held on a mini tripod but the camera uses a built in image stabiliser which creates smooth footage straight out the camera ! All the best 👍🏻
