Well I can vouch for the buns, scrumptious 😋 Glad you didn’t panic cos they turned out fab, fascinating fact very interesting. Great episode lovely to watch on a Sunday afternoon. Thanks for all your hard work in entertaining me 😘 I also love my iPad case looks so nice in any room with my iPad & phone neatly tucked away until I need them.
Yum! Those buns look amazing! Thanks for providing the recipe. Will have to give them a try. Still trying to catch up on your videos; found I need a notebook next to me as you provide SO many good tips and references. Regarding episode 118 I meant to comment at the time, but we were in a bit of a rush that weekend. Besides the obvious that it was ANOTHER lovely episode, I wanted to tell you that it was truly if you had stopped in for a visit! I was at our dining room table, writing out checks for our monthly bills, listening to an audiobook, and my phone pinged. There you were. I immediately switched to you sitting in your garden and it truly was if you had stopped by for a chat! A long time ago I had a neighbor who would drop in for a quick hello and catch up and it felt just like that. So lovely! ❤ Hoping you and Pete are staying well and looking forward to your next episode, Ronna
Thank you for sharing everything on this video, I especially liked your baking. Thanks for the mincemeat recipe I will use that and I’m going to make some buns at some stage. Our neighbour has chickens at his allotment and it’s such fun to go and watch and listen to them, each with their own character. Our budgie was singing with the birds. 👋
How lovely your budgie enjoyed the birds! The buns are delicious as is the mincemeat which keeps a good while. I watched episode 26 after your comment and I must say I enjoyed the reminders. Tommy is now two - so much has happened!
That was such fun to watch, Pene - thank you. It was helpful seeing how you rolled out the buns and my mouth was watering the whole time I was watching! Your chat with Pete was very entertaining too - I loved it that you kept the outtakes in!! I'm still enjoying the TA very interesting, too, and loved seeing the hens at the end! xx
Brilliant episode. Thank you. Pete you have such a way of telling a story - its not just the story or the words its the way you tell the story. You have such great timing and lead us through in such a gentle and yet invigorating way. The rover bus evoked such memories. Do keep going with the slot please I love it. The cooking has found its rightful place and what can I say apart from I learn so much. Who would have thought such beautiful crafting on bags… Looking forward to picking up again on your mums story and a request for some more piano.
Most of the time we don't see the wild birds molting, but at one house we lived there was a male cardinal who lost all his head feathers every year. It was so funny to see him.
Just thank you! The buns looked fab and I think I'll give them a go. Love your reminiscing with Pete. I was interested to hear about trying the hearing aids. I've suffered from Tinnitus since I was small and it drives me up the wall. I've been told on several visits to the docs that I should try hearing aids, perhaps I should after hearing what you've said. Only this weekend to catch up on now, I had a mountain of washing to do from the holiday.
Your holiday destination looked lovely - well worth the washing. I've got another appointment for the hearing aids as the ones they gave me were helpful but soo expensive. I'm going to try different ones and will let you know how I get on. Thanks for watching.

thanks so much Frances. All noted and passed on!

I'm learning! I've never heard of a cardinal - Pete knew! They are simply gorgeous. Losing his feather must have looked weird.
@@penelopeschinwag their skin is a dark gray which really stood in contrast to his beautiful, bright red feathers.
