👍 i loved this song over all in Old World, it truly transmits the feeling of being and living in an ancient cartage city :') THANK YOU SO CHRISTOPHER TIN, i cant describe how good i feel when i listen to this song. (regards from Bolivia 🇧🇴)
This song is a stimulator of testosterone and brings out of humans our real personality which has always been strong and persistent and surviving all forms of storms and seasons, influencing the torrents of ages while looking for better ways to better our experience and existence as Humans on this fine planet. In this song is carved our historical journey, values and progress and therefore immortalized on the canvas of our hearts and much regards to you sir for opening your imagination to capture such a wonder.
La musique me rappelle les mercenaires phéniciens et la puissance de l'empire carthaginois, je suis fier d'être l'un des fils de l'armée la plus puissante de l'époque.
Got this in my recommendations after going over civ 6 themes. I was looking forward to old world but since the mastermind of civ 4/6 is working on it I have no choice xD
What was your inspiration for this track, Christopher? It has some Middle Eastern-sounding tunes, if I'm not mistaken. I believe that's Hannibal in the front with the Carthaginian army in the back. Did you use Lebanese music for inspiration, since Carthage was founded by the Phoenicians?
Easily the best of the tracks from this game! Strong Lebanese dabke and Phoenician vibes from this along with klezmer. And the orchestra screams Fairuz with ugaritic motifs
I've been called cocky for being proud of my own blood in the past, so what's up with that now? Some are able to be proud of their blood and some others not? Love this beat, it takes me back in time to ancient Numidia and Carthage. Some things i must say tho, i didn't like about carthage, they sacrficed children to their idols, that's no good buisness, but i must say they had one of the best fleets and armies in history.
Me simple man. Me see Christopher Tin, Me click.
👍😂🤣

@@charlesbwilliams I think you called for an orange, Sir? ua-cam.com/video/akT0wxv9ON8/v-deo.html
same lol
when you are a velite at lake trasimene and you hear this coming out of the trees
absolutely amazing, makes you feel the loss of having the great city and its wonders lost to time.
Makes you feel the horror of the inhabitants of the Mediterranean. And they caused the killing of peoples.
Over the ALPS! I dare say that would be quite a feat, even for the great Hannibal Barca!
He would lose half of his army to attrition alone! The other half would desert him!
@@JuliusSurya I suppose he will bring with him, an army of elephants!
Thank you so much it's so good music of my country history...long live Carthage ❤️🇹🇳❤️
💀
@@andresgz4046 where are you from?
I love Carthage as an African but it is already, tragically dead.
I can hear this piece telling me to lead the band of hellenic mercenaries and war elephants into Rome grounds
And Iberian ,Gallic and Berbers too

Sorry, words aren't adequate to express my appreciation for this music.
i love how the young gym/matial artist generation of this corrupted world is slowly turning back to the old world heroes an values
Killing tyrants and having one of the most stable governments in the ancient world?
Perfect.
Once again an amazing composition!
Great! I love the dynamics of this music.
Hello Christopher, could you do a music for Vercingétorix or Brennus ?
Have a good day/night ! :D
I'm pretty sure Mr.Tin has found how to travel back-in-time to bring-us-back this music ;].
This reminds me so much of Geoff Knorr's beautiful music for Civ V, well done

POV : You're a Roman legionnary stationned at the Alps.
"bro why do I hear boss music"
POV: You're one of the senators that laughed when someone suggested to defend the Alps passes.

They did not establish the Phoenician mercenaries, Carthage, but the Carthaginians.😂😂
Carthage is in nowadays Tunisia🇹🇳
Carthage not surrender .Long life Carthage my country.
