New CV Axle Assembly from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1AAC...
This video shows you how to install a new driver's side CV axle in your 2003-2008 Toyota Corolla. A CV axle has flexible joints. Often, these joints wear out, or seize from contaminants due to the protective boot tearing open. A worn joint is prone to breakage, or other hazards. If your vehicle needs a new CV axle, install a quality TRQ axle that is engineered to your vehicle’s specifications.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2003 Toyota Corolla
2004 Toyota Corolla
2005 Toyota Corolla
2006 Toyota Corolla
2007 Toyota Corolla
2008 Toyota Corolla
Tools you will need:
• Pry Bar 1aau.to/oPD/1AX...
• 17mm Socket 1aau.to/obiW/1A...

Getting the shaft out of the transmission was very difficult for me. Finally, I put wood shims on the opposite side and top to keep it from moving and getting cocked and that did the trick.
The fact I wasn't using a lift and working on the floor makes a difference too.
Good call on antiseize on the outside splines. Not a bad idea to replace the shaft seals as a part of the job (they often leak eventually, and you're already there).
F'n thorough video. Great editing and straight and to the point. New sub
I've never seen someone double check lug nuts with a torque wrench. Pretty thorough!
Question, mine is very wobbly and makes bad noise, ya I’m guessing it’s the cv axle, but I’m curious if where it slides into if there’s something there that could be the problem?? Is there a hearing right there where it slides in? I’m just hoping it’s just the cv axle cuz this seems easy enough for me to do, anything beyond that I’m sketched out about
Isn't there oil coming out after removing the axle?
U make it seem so easy. Let’s me rephrase. It’s easy for you to thanks 🙏 for the great video
How do you know if it is in all the way? Is it supposed to be flush against the transmission? Would be nice to have gotten a shot of that!
Thanks buddy. Just finished mine.
A 2010 has an outer tire rod that you have to take off too right ?
Do you need an alignment after?
Does this also apply to a Corolla LE?
There is a small shift on the driver's side we changed the complete set of the driving shaft and the problem wasn't solved.
Please help me on what to do to fix the problem.
Would this work for a 2000 corolla?
If you are going to do this at home do yourself a favor and rent a CV ACLE PULLER. I spend hours trying to pry and it literally took 2 minutes with the puller
do you have to drain ur transmission fluid ?
+@Emanpix It is not necessary to drain the transmission fluid.
how much torque 159?
What if it starts leaking when taken out
My axle still doesn’t push through the hub even after hammering it down
Mine was stuck like a mf on a 08 type S corolla. Also be careful prying anywhere around there. So you don't break the race on the input shaft. Try pulling first
Excellent !!
The lugs are 19mm not 21.
So why not show if the axle was seated correctly? u r rushing man....
How about passage side ?
Do you need to drain the gearbox oil. ?
