Morning Gravel Ride/Single Track NS RAG+ // Keene Creek Duluth Minnesota

- Taking my usual route over the bridge ride a section of the Duluth Traverse. 100 miles of intercity single track. This is a typical ride for me. I like to goof around a little on some curbs. Climb a big hill or two. Pick a section of single track or gravel road to break up the ride. Come home with a smile.
Filmed with GoPro Hero 7. I tried my best to keep the footage steady on a rigid bike. I thought about music but decided I like the sound of dirt, tires, and bike.

Today i bought a rag+2 for 1499€. Should be here next week. I am excited 🙃
Right on!
awesome!
I watched your movie and made up my mind. Now I'm sure, I'm buying new RAG + 2 from 2021, is on its way :)
Thanks for watching! It’s a fun bike!
What a great video !! Kudos for that.
Where in Duluth is that? Could you share some routes? I've done the Heck of thr North but I guess there're some other exciting gravel courses upthere.
Thanks
Thanks! I started in Superior, went across Bong Bridge, Highland up to Skyline, Down Keane Creek Trail. It is a Blue / intermediate trail. West Duluth. My favorite Gravel road to ride is the Superior Municipal Forest road. There is also an old railroad track that has been converted to an all weather trail called the DWP. It goes past Ely's Peak area from West Duluth. Hope that gives you a start! There are nearly 100 miles of single track flow trail in Duluth so my rides are usually road/single track with a little gravel. I usually try to climb the hill to Skyline at least once on my rides. The view always makes the ride worthwhile :)
Very cool video! That looks like it was a fun ride.
Thanks Jon!
Seeing a video from John, especially regarding a rag+, it automatically gets a like;) apart from that i really enjoyed the pov video, a very nice variation on the pov mtb clips you find everywhere. Top notch!
Thanks Mark! I’m glad you like the style of this. Easy to self film and therefore I can do more of them :)
Hey man! Cool video. I'm a UMD student who just bought his first gravel bike and I don't have a lot of experience riding, especially not on all these hills. I typically go for 10 mile rides but can push up to 25 if I'm feeling good. Do you have any spots you'd recommend in the area? Any beginner rides? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
An easy ride (and one of my favorites) is the Superior National Forest road off 28th street in Superior and it goes to highway 105.
Awesome vid and riding! What size tires did you ride? Thanks!
Thanks! 700 x 40cc just the stock gravel king tires that came with the bike.
