@@BoloDaProducer yea i updated it two days ago and I’m running logic without Rosetta so technically it should be alright but it’s not, I’ve seen people online having the same problem but no one seems to find where it comes from
Logic always sends their updated versions to certain pro's to review, critique and so on. But you can trust that there will be further updates. Agree with many who think the interface needs some changes. But the splitter...bass, drums, vox and "Other?" Does that mean guitar, piano, synth, strings, brass (you know, the instruments that really make musical tones) are on "other?"
stem separation uses the neural engine that's in the silicon chips. this is why it requires M1 or newer. an M1 mac mini is cheap and easy to find 2nd hand (why fork out a grand or more if you get away with 3-400 right?
@Bolo so here is a question for you. Being that most (eventually all) daws have the same type of stem separation (vox, base, drums, other), do you think this was created to embed code in each stem that allows audio forensics to determine if the sample is used without authorization? I mean I assume people would be legit and are serious about the business, but not everyone can pay clearance fees. Especially with sample packs that can be created using this. I mean creatively this would allow for some creative sound design with you own tracks. I wonder who owns the algorythm. Thoughts?

My biggest problem is I spent $5200 on my MacBook Pro to have eight gigs of V ram, 8 TB of storage, 64 dram and they can’t use the feature. I really want..
