You don't know how much I wanted this album to be real.
When I was younger, I tried to order it. 😎🍺👍
its close to the truth..
I still want the CD !!!
It should be ! I would be buying it for sure !
#1 hit
Conan was a strapping young lad
Giving it his all! 😂🍀🍺🍻🍹🍸🥂🍾🍷🥃
I was with him, with every hoist.
He was loving it
Hey I wrote a drinking song called Lady o the night.ua-cam.com/video/QYuNOYLth_E/v-deo.html
He was the head writer, which is one of the reasons those years were so funny.
Loving the super young Conan
Jon Lovitz singing as an Irishman!
John Lovitz does a really good Irish accent.
Acting!
@@kstepkoBRILLIANT!!
Conan standing at the bar with a flat pomp! :-)
So this is basically The Dropkick Murphy's catalog.
Everyone else talking about young Conan, but Mike Myers and Jon Lovits were more convincing Irishman than anyone
R. I. P Phil Hartman and Jan Hooks.
Conan´s hair is so flat.
Jose Veijanen McPrepompadour O'Brien.
Holy Shit! Conan from 1990! This is awesome footage.💚💟💚
"I'm Ryan O'Malley O'Schoenburg the drunken Irish Jew!"
Now that's carrying out jew dilligence.
Jon Lovitz is freaking hilarious!
Is it wrong that I wish I was there?
The Incoherent Song had me dying of laughter.
"...for God's sake!"
@@theBaron0530 :-)
@1:22 Jon Lovitz sounds like he is singing "Brave Sir Robin" from Monty Python And The Holy Grail. 😂
"Yeah baby" nice to see mr powers there, hilarious skit
Geez...I wonder who helped write this skit? (Love you Conan!).
Conan! ❤️
It is good to see Jan and Phil again
the ones that aren't drinkin' are dead......
1:34 is my family anthem.
Conan was actually a writer on SNL before he became really famous. So was Tina Fey. True story...I met Conan OBrien somewhere between 1988 and 1990. During college, I was working nights at a NYC themed night club in Tucson, AZ. He and another gentlemen came in and sat in my station. Conan was kind of annoying and kept joking around with me and asking what the deal was with Tucson. They told me they were from NYC. I believed them bc they were both in suits. Conan said he was a writer on SNL. I went along with it, but didn't believe he was a writer. Not sure why he would be in Tucson. I saw him on SNL in a few skits , including this one, shortly after that, and I was like "Thats that tall red haired man I served several beers to!!!" He wasn't lying. Sorry Conan!! Ps he was a good tipper lol
True story no one cares about tina fey she only thinks she's funny because she expects us to think she's funny.
Kevin Nealon and Conan, two of my favorites!! Extremely underrated
Damn I’ve been having a few drinks. I knew I seen Conan in there. That’s a few years before he was even a talk show host.
Ahhhh one of the classic seasons!
I grew up in England with an irish family so i’ve kinda grown up used to how much they drink and totally fazed it out. I was watching this and thinking ‘that’s so inaccurate irish people don’t drink that much AT ALL’ but when I actually thought about it’s really true 😂
Totally hilarious. Thanks so much for posting it.
So is it a common stereotype that the Irish have a problem with alcohol? The skit was very subtle and I didn't really get what they were trying to say.
Yes it is a well-known stereotype.
How are you enjoying your time here on planet earth?
That’s a close reading not totally supported by the text but modern theory leans toward yes.
Nothing like a stereotype for a cheap joke.
It is said that where there are four Irishmen you are likely to find a fifth?
' Up Comes my Supper" lol
I shouldn't have had the lamb stew!
Look at Childan O'brien over there!
Love the Irish no matter how much they make fun!!!😘
We take fun as much as we make it haha
Yeah, I'm pretty sure my family's sung ALL these songs
One of the best SNL commercials..
Conan wrote this skit, that’s why he’s in it.
I swear, I could make out the word "shoes" in "The Incoherent Song"
"Up comes my supper" :D
"Oh, you'll be wantin' the compact disc...ya can't fall down and break it!"
I was in an Irish pub last year & saw a the locals with their klits & bagpipes drinking single malt.
It's mental that Conan was in a sketch before he was even a TV host.
What a fucking legend he is.
“Nobody gets drunker than the Irish.” Russia would like to know your location.
Ireland
Conan ❤
ye forgot the legend of ol' Hamfat O'Brien
Least we in ireland figured out alcoholism is the funnest disease to have. That's why we picked that.
Omg Conan ! Brilliant
Phil Hartmans voice overs lol
Timeless.
COCOOOOOOOO!
"Face Down in the Heather" :D
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day
Ah, Paddy boy, do ye moind if Oi run it through me kidneys first?
Luv Jan!
Conan!! R.I.P. Phil Hartman
He was great. Sucks what happened to Phil.
Oh my father is drunk and my uncle is drunk and my brother is drunk and cousin is drunk and my mother is drunk and the baby is drunk....
It's funny because it's true.
and the ones that aren't drinkin' are dead.....
Yup
But, more importantly, I'm drunk!
Dubliners wolftones all great folk musicians
I think this was before Conan became popular.
ive only time for one more drink..it seems my wife has died
I'm from Boston. I can appreciate this
The Pogues were the musical guest on this episode, so that’s gotta be them in them on the backing track as well, right?
Jon O'Lovitz! ☘
I still sing many of these to this day...maybe Dana Carvey was right..."86 to 93 was the baaaaaaaaaaeeeeeesssstttt"...
Is that a young Conan O'Brian?
Kevin nealon pretty funny.
I wonder how rude it would be to yell there
"If it's not Scottish, it's CRAP".
Can not find that skit on UA-cam :(
So you’ve chosen death
@@jellyranger1706 Which skit?
@@mgonza1350 Mike Meyers as a,Scottish store proprietor. He tells all his customers, 'and if it ain't Scottish, it's crap!". Hilarious bit.
@@waynej2608 Thanks, Wayne. I'm a fan of your world
Pretty sure Conan wrote this bit after a long nite of Drinkin
Probably. And, he did a fine job, as usual. I now chalk this up, as a seasonal classic!
Baby Conan is making me live.
LMAO Conan O'Brien
Someone said God created alcohol to ensure that the Irish could never attain. and keep of course world domination. Lol
Aw, Jeeze. So many memories--- my sister had the night off from gogo dancing, I'M NOT JOKING and we pissed our pants over this. 24 percent Irish we are but growing up in JC, NJ back in the day? We're Mick's from Lafayette. Never mind our Ma, from Polish stock ...
Phil’s voice-over work is unmatched. Just so perfect.
IT'S THE PART HE WAS BORN TO PLAY BABY!
Is that a young Conan O'Brien I see 👀 🤔
Conan :D
Holy Moly Conan
Was that Lionel Hutz narrating
It's Phil Hartman, yes.
Face down in the Heather...
Can be taken two ways :p
😂 ☘️ 🍺
Mike myers 🤘
Sounds about right. From the UK.
And of course, The Irish Crying Song!
("For God's Sake")
... Not a official Irish drinking song with out Conan O’BRIEN!
the best snl...ge smith
This is culturally insensitive! Can you believe that only ONE of those actors is 100% Irish.
Who is the 100%?
COCO 😍🧡
If it were real id buy that
00:35 Nobody gets drunker than the Irish ? Have you ever been to Milwaukee ? ..................on a solemner note, R.I.P. Jan Hooks , you were beautiful !

It's funny because they're irish
1-800-fluthered
Troy McLure
Slainte!
A young Conan O’Brien.
Is that Conan?
It is
They’re missing the top 3 Irish pub songs...
Come Out Ye Black and Tans
Ya better grab your shovel
Sweet Caroline
And, Black Velvet Band. One of my favorites.
i don't think actual irish people care about sweet caroline
when SNL was funnny
Oi! Is that Robbie Coltrane of the left!?!?!
Conan the Irish:)
Seems legit.
Is that Gerry Adams on the back right?
I think my take away from this sketch is that the Irish like to sing......oh and also drink. 🍀☘
And fight.
@@CMZIEBARTH and puke
@@lebensraummetal and, drink some more.
Still funny after all this time.
This has given me so much life right now #STPATRICKSDAY 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀💚💚💚💚💚
