at this point im convinced, hoyo just hate’s claymore, the reason why there’s not a hydro claymore yet is cuz hydro is too good as an element and hoyo just hadn’t think of a way to make that hydro claymore dog sht.
@@theneighborskid. they also ruined Beidou Raiden, Dehya, Kaveh is essentially a dendro infused normal attacker since bloom is a joke, Dori is useless, Sayu only has overworld traversal tbh. Only claymores that survived are Diluc, he’s mostly decent dps (but xiangling is leagues above), razor (Tfurry is funny and very good) and chongyun (used for Shenhe cryo infused dpsers)

As a semi Deyha and ULTIMATE Xinyan main, I’m use to making “bad” characters as op as possible. I’ll have fun seeing how much power I can squeeze out of him. Also AMAZING video, very informative!
Usually the dps itself isn't worth much unless you put buffs on them.
There's 3 types of buffs currently in the game
Mechanics,reactions,artifacts and character buffs.
MECHANICS : depending on enemies, they have less resistance like ruin guard has physical resistance, but future mobs in Fontaine isn't have much.
Reactions : any dps so far rely on reactions, people generally just don't like dps that doesn't rely on reactions (like klee for example) , and then there's debuffing reactions too.
Artifacts : set pieces that can boost anything from hp to def to even crit rate and spd.
Character buffs : atk bonus from benner and bloom dmg increase from nilou are examples.
I'm assuming u have triple-crowned Xinyan. How much charged attack u do on Childe boss no buffs?
@@iturnedmypikachuintoararec4846 my xinyan is not triple crowned actually, I’d say she does 18-20 something k normal attack with no buff I think. Not too entirely sure though

Seriously though, he made such a stink about the hyperbloom core, why not use Freminet as the onfield cryo unit for fridge? He'd be much easier to use than Layla in terms of application, even though she's got the one and done shielding. Plus, based on his kit, I kind of want to use him for the on fielder for Thoma burgeon.

Freminet is the foreshadowing of physical units being pushed in the Fontaine patch. An off field 5 star physical DPS is closer than what people think.

Because he doesn't want to give false hopes. He knows that Freminet will be bad as says it outloud. But when you say that a character is good you have to be sure about it.
it's obvious because freminet has a cool kit with fun mechanics, wile lyney is a boring mono pyro slave which is already worse than vape teams

I really like his character design, AND his kit design is interesting too, PLUS his exploration passive. Like why couldn't they at least make him Heizou level or something 😭

Kinda wish hoyo implements interesting kits like his into actually usable 5 stars in the future…
The last few times they did that, there was riots. Unforthnately the toxic part of th playerbase made the bed for us.
Edit. Off the top of my head, Kokomi, zhongli, Yae Miko, Raiden, Shenhe for not being all had drama for having different kits to previous characters. (some bigger than others, and some extremely disturbing)

Pls god no. Literally the only thing the guy's got going on for him is how interesting he is, if we get a 5* version of him he'll just cease existing. Let him have that at least.
Hoyo really seemed to have shot themselves in the foot by releasing really busted 4 stars early on i.e Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Sucrose and Fischl; and now have to go in reverse by making new 4 stars shitty to not power creep. Then again power creep doesn't even matter when Spiral Abyss is the hardest game mode in this game.

Going from Qiqi's rapid attack speed straight to a claymore sounds like a huge shift. I remember Keqing suddenly feeling slow after I played Qiqi for a long while when I got her.
@@Yoanka i’m planning on running him with mika to attempt to emulate just a little of what i’ll be missing, but yeah. qiqi’s fast attacks make the numbers almost seem forgettable since it’s fun to just unga bunga hit enemy quick
The most disappointing aspect about him is the leaked banner that he's going to apparently feature. Paired w XINYAN AND NOELLE. If it wasn't for that, I could try going after him regardless of his numbers
Let's hope for event in 4.2/4.3 where we get him

That banner leak was fake, it's just random people speculating and claiming for them to be leaks, we don't have actual leaks on 4* at the moment for 4.1.

I get the feeling that Freminet suffers from Dori syndrome, where he might be given out for free in 4.2 or something. And because he's being given out for free, they might be testing out new mechanics on him since a lot of players will be using him for the exploration passive.
Very excited for Freminet, it's a shame he isn't a 5* because frankly I'd have pulled him in a heartbeat, but I'll try to push through his 4* scalings and hopefully have a good time with him.
Heizou is very similar, extremely fun and if you put the effort into heavily investing in him with amazing artifacts and 5* Weapon, he can still stand as a very great DPS, and I'm hopeful that Freminet can be pushed to some great heights as well.
With how many different Team Options Freminet can have thanks to the ingenious design of his kit, I'm extremely curious to tinker around and see what pushes him into the best he can be. It's just a shame they didn't make him a 5*, that kit is amazing and a 5* upscaled version of it would have been amazing, it's criminal that we won't be getting that.
I am a big heizou fan and invested alot in him but while using him I realized how bad 4* dpses are
His kit is cool with huge numbers scaling but he just doesn't cut it while doing abyss even when he does 200k e
But again just like you said, frem is an example of a character that defines "fun" rather than numbers, his kit is for people who already beat abyss and looking for experimenting
I am looking forward to trying him out and playing around with different teams with him
I got a fully built C6 Heizou. But after getting C1 Wanderer I wondered why I even bothered building heizou. Wanderer charged attack is only slighly lower than full stack Heizou punch.

I love his design and I’ve been waiting for a character that utilizes shatter!! Idc if he’s not that good compared to other units, I love him and his little penguin buddy! I’m just glad that he’s on zhongli’s banner cuz I need him too. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR PULLS EVERYONE!
Man I actually have a lot of respect for you. In a time where most of the content creators are just ignoring genshin, you're still here with us, giving us content. I am specifically upset today, cause just found out that I missed a web event. Previously when there was a web event some creators like taka gg would instantly make a video about it,I used to rely on that info,but now it's like everyones sleeping on genshin,even iwintolose isn't making any content,he is one my favourite genshin content creators. @@20thcentury_toybro, the passion Zajef has for this game is built different. Most of the content creators are tired of this game and its awful community. Also, Dehya's abominable kit mechanics, the long drought between 3.4 and 3.8, HSR having all the QoL that Genshin needs, and Lyney's kit not being a reaction based kit has finally broken the community and thus CC's aren't able to function anymore. In a time like that, Zajef is still making content. I think that's quite some mental energy he got there.

Speaking of off-field physical dmg dealers, it would have been a neat idea if he used his ticky, mech penguin as a summon that ticks around and does small aoe physical damage (Sort of like a physical guoba but maybe with the penguin wings instead).
Physical off field dmg dealers are definitely coming in Fontaine tbh.

no point having phys off fielder cause mika which is the specialized support for phys units doesnt work with off field units. so in the end it will be a worthless unit that will be carried by bennett most likely.

Zajef, have you seen Freminet's interaction with C2 Chongyun? Because of the CD decrease his skill has basically no cooldown, thoughts?
As of right now he seems like a personality pull but I can really see new physical supports throughout Fontaine coming out that will bring a breathe of life to physical at least a little.
Quote from the special program: When Ousia-aligned energy meets Pneuma aligned energy, an annihilation reaction will be triggered which generates energy. Fontainians utilize such properties to power facilities in the city, including the clockwork mecha seen on the streets. As for the Fontaine characters who own a vision, based on their innate Arkhe types, they can trigger relevant damage effects in combat. However, since this is exclusive to Fontaine characters and areas, we did not make the Arkhe system into an intricate system like the elemental system. So, what our players will have in the game is simply the Arkhe's interactive properties with certain subjects, *instead of any damage enhancer or exclusive advantage that you have to use no matter what.* For instance, the 'Assault Specialist Mek' has a special defense mode where it holds a shield, and a special suppress mode where it wields a baton. Players can use some of the Fontaine characters' Arkhe attacks to interfere with the Meka's power system, thus forcing them out of the special modes, and into other modes to fight with you."
This is the only official statement about how it works, and it's very different from what's described in leaks. It may have once been that way, but if what is said is true, the original idea was abandoned.
So, either that was a blatant lie, or you're far too concerned about the Arkhe system.
I mean if you read the leak it clearly that you can brute force them. Pneumousia just made them hit less hard, it doesn't decrease your DMG (Coppellia has 35% all RES in climax, but it's just 35%). So I think a lot of people definitely overreact here.

Similar to Zajeff I love weird characters in Genshin so I'm definitely pulling and building him but knowing myself I'll probably need to watch a few more vids to understand how he works and how to build him

His kit makes my eyes SHINE because it looks so damn cool having a character so versatile and that could make less used reactions have a more solid niche usage

I'll likely build him if I manage to snag some copies from the Tortellini banner, my Yanfei was lvl 90 9/9/9 talents before my xiangling was even ascended past 60 anyways. It's not like spiral abyss is even worth the headache LMAO

Normally I don't go for 4 stars, but I'm very happy he is on a banner with a 5star I want but won't be too sad if I miss (Childe). Hopefully I get at least one of them. I really wish the siblings had some more synergy, I'd love to run a team with all three.

I built a usable Chongyun out of spite against people saying he was bad, and I will do the same for the new cryo dps boi. We're going to try and get him to do nutty numbers
the difference is that chongyun is a burst dps who can use other good characters like xiangling, rosaria etc while freminet is a main dps with shit damage so you'll just have to run him with a typical hyperbloom team

It feels like the only good characters will always be either Archons and safe characters, Lyney is a very safe character, very rare that he' ll have a random power spike like Xiangling or Fischl, Freminet is actually unique, so they make him shit so he doesn't have a chance to become good EVER

Shatter is like crystallize is not used much at least not on purpose
since he will be a shatter driver his damage doesn't seem to be that low because he will have two sources of damage his combo and shatter that both scale with physical damage
Fischl, Lisa, Kuki, Raiden, Xingqiu, Yelan, Mika, Rosaria he will have great team options

I really wanna pull for him cuz he looks fun, but if that one leak that got taken down is to be the final 4 star banner lineup, Noelle and Xinyan? Really? I also already have C0 Zhongli and Childe and would rather save for a 5 star that looks fun and/or promising. Sadly gonna skip the banner most likely since I don't wanna risk a 4 star incident moment, but good luck to those trying or have been waiting to get one of the 5 stars. To those who are also reluctantly skipping, may we be spooked by him sooner than later in future pulls.

I doubt Hoyo primarily made the alignment to sell units for abyss. Most players don’t even interact with abyss lol. It’s just a new flavour mechanic for the expansion’s exploration
People like you tend to forget that players that actually spend money on the game do interact with abyss alot , sooo yeah it is quite relevant for hoyo to sell new chars.
@@felipemendes5336players who spend money likely have enough invested characters/team comps that can brute force their way through. I doubt they'd make the abyss completely unplayable if you ignore the new alignments.
@@felipemendes5336the vast majority of the player base does NOT interact with the abyss. That’s the exact reason why hoyo said they won’t add more end game content in their GameStop interview saying “Not everyone is interested in Musk Reef”. They have the data to back up that statement.
we already have restricting mechanics like elemental shields, bow user requirement for ruin drake, electro for asimon, and pneuma/ousia will likely be the same way, as in you caaaan theoretically brute force your way through, but having specific characters would be much easier

freminet is definitely a cryo unit with physical elements to his kit, with cons that increase his own dmg but not shatter itself, and is apparently a hyperbloom driver

Wait,isn't Skyrider Greatsword a good option for him aswel? That thing gives about 40% phys dmg bonus and at R5 it gives 40% atk so long as you upkeep the NAs and CAs.
Regardless i do want him in my collection but sadly i don't think imma pull for him,pulling for 4* is stupid and i already have Big Dong Zhong and i hate Childe with an absolute burning passion like no other. We'll see i guess

i do disagree with the 2pc 2pc options mentioned in 16:12 The 4pc PF just offers additional 18 percent attack compared to 2pc 2pc which is conditional after doing 2 skills
