I got skin botox a few weeks ago, which freezes the muscles in your face. I experienced some side effects which is very common, and I'm making this video to warn you all what you could experience too.

Thank you for making this! A lot of people won’t even look into procedures if their favorite influencers and celebs are doing them. So much trust is put into what is trendy. I will also say we always notice these smaller details on ourselves that no one else will see. You will always be a 100/10 hottie 🔥🔥🔥

Anna you don't need any procedures. Leave your face alone and be natural.
I realize as a guy my opinion does not really matter, if anything, because I have never had to live by my good looks (I have what they call "a face for radio"), but you are fine just the way you are. You are perfect just the way you are. I also realize that you are living in hyper-competitive Korea in an even more competitive field, but your face is your "money maker" and you cannot afford to damage it. It is a tough decision, and we support you either way.

I wouldn't want someone to continue searching endlessly for perfection. Like the old quote goes, "the enemy of a good plan is the search for a perfect plan." And I did not mean "perfect" literally.
Vanity is a quicksand, the more you admire your reflection, the deeper you sink. It begins with a glance but ends in a hunger that can never be satisfied. All you did was trade one insecurity for another, one worry for another.
Yes, that’s why it is a good video, although I doubt that was the creator’s original intention. It’s a very good way you expressed the psychological tendencies around this. Beauty can be important, but if you turn inwards and away from the world you destroy the possibility to live in balance and also to be content.
Frankly, I really don't see much difference. But I get that we are always more aware of our insecurities than other people are!
The problem with any cosmetic procedure is the side effects. You definitely have to be careful when it comes to Botox injections. Any long term use will eventually have some type of an effect. You can see this in so many celebrities who use Juvederm, Botox, and a combination of different fillers. Sometimes it just isn't worth it. Grow older gracefully.
I tell myself that but then I go into one of these clinics and then want to get everything done...😅

Please accept what you look like! I understand the desire to improve your physical appearance. However, procedures, no matter how minor, do have side effects.
100% agree. The body is one system - you can't affect one area without affecting other areas. Freezing certain muscles means other muscles will have to compensate for that.
The idea that we can just chop and change different parts of our body without suffering health consequences is the definition of hubris. You should value your body and health over meeting society's expectations.
It’s hard to believe that someone your age, so young and beautiful, can feel pressured to get Botox (even the skin one, what wrinkles at your age? Creases are normal, even babies have them when they do certain expressions) or any other procedure….You are the ideal in beauty and yet feel the need to do these things, I guess we all regular looking people, or middle aged people, we are all doomed lol 😂 Ladies and guys that do all these beauty treatments must think we all look horrible…

But it is a very important video, actually. Lately I’ve been seeing so many influencers going to skin clinic and getting botox, among other treatments. This year I finally changed my mind, purely based on the influencer videos. It is important to know the side effects and the psychological effects that come with botox. You just showed yourself going through all these stages and it was so refreshing, but also responsible of you to make a follow up to your sponsored video. Yes, each person has to do their own research and make their own decision. We don’t want to change our whole faces just because of a trend. Just because everyone is getting botox nowadays it doesn’t mean it is less of a big deal; hopefully it will just make its technology better. Thank you for being so transparent. Hey Anna! I get botox done between my eyebrows, and my injector told me this side effect you're experiencing is due to getting botox solely on your forehead and not the surrounding muscles. She told me she doesn't inject JUST the upper forehead region unless the person is willing to get it around their eye brow area as well because this can happen! I only get it on my 11s/between brows, and my double eye lid is still the same. The arches of my brows did go up slightly though!
I agree!!! I just came back from Seoul and did Botox in a clinic in Myeongdong for the first time. It's been 1 week and I have noticed I have the "hooded lids" and lost my double eyelids. So sad. I'm glad to see that it got better after a few more weeks. I'm about to tape my eyelids for the time being. Same, RIGHT NOW, if you ask me I would say I would not do Botox again. Hopefully I'll change my mind like you in time.!
First of all a big thanks to sharing with us all of the details that could make a difference in taking a decision to do a Botox or not. Anyway , in the journey's life the misfortunes like this can happen'. So to go in a hurry to ask for a surgery it might be a worse thing then waiting a little bit. One of my greatest assets is youthful appearance(I’m 51) I would never do any surgery. Are there things I would like to change? Yes but not bad enough to get plastic surgery, never have and never will. Anna you are beautiful and you are no where near the wrinkle stage. What I believe helps us stay looking young is no alcohol , no smoking, no dwelling in stress, and 8 hours of sleep. Anna stay beautiful as you already are. ❤
Be positive, it will hopefully be ok and it sounds like it already improved a lot. Do you mind if I ask, why you got your previous botox and this one? How much of it is personal preference vs social pressure or other reasons? I have heard from lots of sources that in general, Korean culture is really into beauty procedures and some can be bigger surgeries.
Very i interested in that bar soap aka shampoo. Sounds like something like I have been searching for . Natural ingredients and no harsh chemicals . Am I too late to comment ? Well, I guess it must too costly , especially with shipping?

Yeah luckily fillers and botox is just temporary, but plastic surgery you can't reverse...

Hi Anna. I actually had a similar experience to you. I went to a clinic in Gangnam and got botox in my forehead for the first time. I had it suggested a few times, and just wanted to try it once to see if I like it. I trusted the clinic would give me good results. When I got it done, it was pretty painful and I thought they were putting a lot in. They also suggested I put some near my crow's feet to make my eyes appear wider (I actually really like the result of this one). Anyway for about a week after, my eyebrows did that angry bird thing and I hated it :( I didn't freak out too much, cause I knew it wouldn't last too long, but I definitely didn't think I would get it done again haha. Now that some time has passed. The results have grown on me. My eyebrows are a different shape (they are more straight now, before there was a clear arch). But if I get this done again, I think I would say to not do it near my frown lines as I like using my eyebrows to express a lot. waiting for the time to pass really helped see how the finally results looked like. But I agree, people need to talk about the side effects more of these procedures.
I had the exact same reaction when I tried botox for the first and only time! 😂 I felt I looked so so different and was freaking out. As a consolation, no one else could see any difference. I guess it is just you yourself who can see such subtle changes. However, I was super relieved when the effects wore out.

I don’t know if physicians are the only one who can exercise Botox in 🇰🇷 but it is the case here in 🇨🇦In either case, you can always make some researches to find the best ones ! Some are clearly better trained (honest?) than others

I honestly could see some change, like you did look slightly different right from the start. I have naturally hooded eyes and its crazy Botox can give you them!! I hope its not permanent! I'm going to need like an upper blepharoplasty someday because my eyelids will be resting on my eyelashes too much or even going down in my eyesight. My dad is getting this surgery done soon for it and I can already tell its my fate too because they're sagging on my eyelashes and I'm only 34...
I see the difference. I had negative affects too and those never went away unfortunately. Online says it can go away in 6 months sometimes. Mine never went away even after many years- still the same till this day. Could just be my case though.
Tried botox, felt so uncomfortable to not being able to move part of my face. Never again. Luckily it only lasts a few months.
There is an acupuncturist where I live who can relax muscles and wrinkles without toxic chemicals. I love it! ❤
As a person who gets botox for medical reasons, unfortunately there is nothing you can do about the typical side effects. Just time will work. You will get your eyelids back because you only got one treatment.

I experienced the same problem with my eyebrows looking mean when I had Botox done. I freaked out over it too. The person who is injecting botox makes all the difference.
I had botox few times but thats really strange.. i never had this experience but the clip u showed of the botox needle, my jaw dropped🙂 i think it was alot of botox. It supposed to be tiny amount even if its skin botox. It will wear off gradually after a month. Unfortunately for me, fillers/botox dont last that long for me😅
At skin clinics here I see that they use micro current devices to help remedy bad Botox jobs. So that might help since the devices target the muscles to help cancel out the effects of the botox

I'd be interested if you made a video about why Koreans get so many procedures done compared to other countries. I've heard various theories proposed but I've never really heard a theory that I felt truly explains it.
I've heard that if you use microcurrent devices, you burn faster through your botox. Maybe look into this? I am 40 and have had this sunken eye issue too after botox, but my wrinkles bother me more 😅
I dont think your eyes became smaller I think the botox made your face puffier and that makes your eyes appear smaller compared to the size of your face

Sad that you felt this way. Actually for botox to lose effect faster, on the day you had it, you go lie down and the botox will disperse a bit. It means like you are supposed to sit up for five hours without lying down after botox in order not to affect it. It’s hooded cos botox froze your forehead muscles and caused you not to be able to lift your brows like normal. Not sure about skin botox for smooth skin. Retinol probably a better choice.

Use a micro-current device, it wears out Botox much faster. I had to stop using my device because I inject Botox for headaches 😓

Glad u got it fixed. It is def help that you are a famous influencer. My mom got botox on her cheek bec she was recovering from a face illness. The last botox helped her face to look somewhat better; however, the doc made her cheeks bumpy and uneven and they dont fix it. I saw the needle pain skin treatment wondering if you had it done?

I've had good Botox and bad botox injections. You went to an inexperienced injector. I gave up on forehead injections and just wear bangs instead. Lol
I had a friend who used Botox every 6mos- 9mos. Her face looks like a Lion. The skin looks like all scar tissue. Hard and weird. She was so beautiful until she messed with the toxins. She’s younger than me too.

For what it's worth, my opinion is that you don't need botox, and shouldn't use it again. The risk of damaging your face seems too high, for the dubious gains. However, take my opinion with a huge grain of salt ... I am a British bloke, in my 50s, and I often find myself unable to see the differences being talked about in K-dramas and Korean youtube channels, where different "levels" of beauty are being discussed. Seriously consider moving out of Korea again, if Korean beauty standards make you so unhappy with yourself that you want to mess about with your face/body. .... BTW, I am really enjoying working through your back catalog of videos on UA-cam. They are very interesting

Anna, there was no reason for you to get botox in the first place. You do not have an issue with your face to start with. What double chin? Those procedures are for people that need it. Young people need to enjoy their youthful natural self, because you can ruin it before your time.
I'll have to join in on some of these other comments you are in your twenties there's no need for you to have botox. I understand people have the freedom to do what they want but then when you get results like this now you wish you hadn't done it. We need to get out of this mined set that we need to correct everything on our face so we look perfect there's no such thing as a perfect face.

Anna, u are talking about Botox like it is financially affordable to everyone. In the U.S. it is a very costly procedure . If the only problem in life would be injecting Botox than one should think that life is a problem free. I am not trying to be rude , but you can go without botox and be beautiful.
In Korea it is a lot cheaper than in the US. Cosmetic procedures are very Korean and there are many clinics that offer these services. She is a Korean UA-camr, so what no one can talk about things that aren’t affordable to all or people in the US? What 🤦🏻♀️

Hey Anna please be careful with getting the fat reduction- as we age we naturally lose fat in the face- I’m not sure how removing it when younger will affect that with age. Botox I’m all for- but the fat reduction not so much- at least not when young 🤍
