You should aim your anger at UA-cam as well. They made it so that 8+ mins videos get at least twice the exposure. I hate it too, it's stupid, but that's how they've set it up to be.
I have a channel with 40k subscribers, where I have tons of work into 2/3 mins cinematics that barely get any reach, whereas my more simple 10+ mins videos all got at least ten times as many views.

What I do in fusion is really easy. And you might as well start to learn how to use it. It's incredible once you get the hang of it.

Great tutorial, thanks. One thing I’m wondering about is that could you combine multiple trackings after one and the other? I see these with cars and in one shot, the tracking point kinda changes in a smooth way, but cannot figure out how it is done. May I ask your opinion?

Trying to switch from premier to davinci so far a love it but the speed ramps in davinci are soooooo much slower and need so many more click why😢

So helpful. I always used the point tracker and hated life when it didn’t consistently work. This is a game changer.
A tip I use to speed this up: You can also click the transform button in Fusion instead of typing it in everytime - saves me a few seconds here and there. I also created a custom toolbar (right click where the transform is) and added in a Planar tracker! You can have all your frequently used effects here for quick access.

If it doesn’t track perfectly, are you able to edit the track path like in AE?
Yea. If it stops in the middle of tracking just move the points somewhere else
@@JamieFenn are you also able to stop the track in the middle of a track forward? With the tracker node (not planar) it doesn’t allow to track frame by frame it just gives the option to track forward but sometimes the track gets thrown off when something obscures the track point

You can do this *without* having a speed-change! Just skip 00:25 - 01:27.
Tho it WILL be applied on that whole clip, so instead of using _'Ctrl+R'_ & _'Add Speed Points',_ just use _'Blade Edit Mode'_ to "select" that special part that will have this function.
I am kinda new, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I got it to work😋

Bc of u i found the motivation to do some car edits. so i filmed my shots with a gimble today, but quickly realised, that the clips are sometimes pretty unstable. i went to yt for ur other tutorials and saw this. youre the man thank u so much, u made my day

This is a different type of stabilization. So they both have different uses

Yes. But the fusion page is where I do all my effects and composites. That's what it's made for.

im rly down right now, i just came home from a shoot and watched my footage, even tough i tried to use the right walking technique my footage is still shaky (used gimbal of course) and the normal stabilization of davinci only makes it worse.. i really hope this method helps, i think i probably also walked to slow and i should walk a little bit faster

I press strep tracker to next frame and nothing happends no matter how often I click on it...

What frame rate and shutter speed did you shoot at? Did you have to increase your shutter speed to avoid any motion blur? I’m new at all of this 😊
Frame rate either 60 or 120 fps for shots like this. I like motion blur so I keep shutter 1/2 (like normal) and project settings are either 24 or 30 fps.
