Interesting. I look forward to seeing the suspension mods.
The absolute dumbest trend in vehicle manufacturing is the move towards ultra low profile tires and giant rims(obviously not limited to Tesla). It's completely ludicrous on a technical level. I wonder how many millions of $$ a year is wasted on replacing destroyed rims and tires.

@@bobqzzi The pros of low-profile tires include performance improvements that are reflected in better handling and higher intensity of braking. Not sure where u getting your info from? Check your level of stupidity before claiming that of others.
Some great advantages of using low profile tyres include:
      ● Improved braking since they have larger rims and wider tyres.
      ● Better handling in both wet and dry weather. They provide good gripping and side swaying is also less noticeable.
      ● Offer greater traction than a conventional type of tyre.
      ● Enhances road feel, which means you can actually feel the road much more than in a car with normal tyres.
      ● They also benefit your car’s cornering characteristics by being able to handle greater cornering forces and steering performance.
      ● They are generally great looking and add style to your car’s outfit.
      ● Current premium car’s tyres are blessed with Run Flat technologies i.e., they allow driving even when all the air pressure is lost.

I'm willing to wager that the charging issue is because the PCS in the HV Battery Service Panel is breaking down -as is now happening with an increasing number of early models, including mine. What's even worse about that problem is that Tesla is refusing to cover the repair under the HV Battery Warranty. NOT good! I'm at 80k on my ghost performance. I'm about due for my second set of tires. I had an issue with charging at 250kw chargers when they first came out that was resolved by topping off the coolant. I was getting a clackety clunk noise from the suspension at around 60k miles that was solved by having suspension torqued to spec. I have also gone through 3 windshields so far. After the third windshield I started getting a lot of rattling from the trim pieces, solved by putting some insulation in there. I had a window switch mechanically break, that was a surprisingly cheap fix (like $60). According to the Tesla Service mode my battery has 84% capacity left but interestingly, legs that were "stretches" when I first got the car, I'm still able to make. I think that has something more to do with my comfort in going lower into the battery but my trips are far quicker now than they were when the car was new, thanks to faster and more superchargers. A 680 mile trip I do pretty often I can do roundtrip with 2 hours less time off the road than when I first got the car mid 2018

The main reason supercharging works in the model 3 but level 2 charging doesn't is the different electrical current. supercharging provides DC directly to the battery, while level 2 charger provides AC to onboard built in the car AC to DC converter (like a rectifier). And then either the onboard converter has issue or overheated from the cooling problem that you had mentioned so it only works for few minutes.

I can't wait to see how you set it up for more off road driving, as I want mine to be able to tackle Devon roads in the UK. 😞I had a Model 3 Long Range 2019, and had suspension noises on the drivers side as well. Sounded just like yours, but was fixed under warranty. Looking forward to the Model 3 Off road video. 🙂

Your Model 3 has had a hard life. You took full advantage of your free supercharging miles and made lots of cross country road trip content in those early days of ownership. Like others have said, the fan, or it’s shroud sounds loose. Not a difficult fix, but if you ignore it for long enough, its bound to creat more issues.

Well, I have to agree on the suspension. To me, the stock Model 3's are really terrible. The rebound is very aggressive and makes people sitting in the rear seats get car sick. I changed out my 2020 Model 3 LR stock suspension with MPP Comfort Kit within the first year of my ownership. It made a complete 180 difference and the Model 3 rides much much better. IMO, I would still love even more dampening but I will take what I have. For a "luxury mid-sized" sedan, Tesla really cheaped out on the suspension. IMO.
For the other items, I too have a broken top roof glass (windshield is fine) and will be getting that fixed via insurance. Not cheap, a $3K fix.
Otherwise, my almost 2 year old Model 3 with close to 50,000 kms is doing well. Yes stone chips are inevitable when one drives a car, so otherwise it is holding up fine. I've got no other complaints.
Hope you can fix your charging issue for L2 and wondering if it coincided with a recent OTA update? I reviewed the new Genesis GV60 recently and it had a software glitch where it would stop (randomly) charging on L2. Hope it is easy and not like the viewer below has described as a non-warranty covered PCS issue. That would not be cool.
That's one of the things with sometimes getting first production run new vehicles, some bugs may come out. However, the OEM should stand by it.
