So cool! I found your channel because of the frugal chicken feeding practices because thats the hold up for getting chickens.
But wow, you two are well on your way to happiness through independence!
I'm planning to build a greenhouse pretty soon and have a southern facing slope I plan to take advantage of. I will be incorporating several 30 to 55 gal. rain barrels as a heat sink warmed by sunlight during the day as an experiment to see how deep into winter things will still grow and how early I can start seedlings!
I'm in Piedmont Virginia zone 7A/B so it should go pretty well.
Thanks so much for the tips and inspiration to get my 61 year old butt out the door!
    Good job kids!😅

Oh my goodness that is so awesome! You are in a fantastic location for that to really work out for you! The rain barrel heat sink is a brilliant idea too. I’m going to try using IBC totes but I’m not sure how that will work just yet haha.
And I bet your 61 year old self is still running laps around lots of 20-something year olds 😁 I wish you the best!

Thank you for your excellent video.I had to laugh at myself. We put a plastic covered serre (Polytunnel) up and I had to dig 2 feet down and eighteen inches out to dig in the feet to keep it solid. I did each corner then sawed off all the feet in between... too hard !! But we dont get frosts and weater as you do. All the best to you all. Keith

Have you considered putting in earth tubes to regulate the temperature inside the greenhouse?

I'd bet you weren't cut out to print a ¼ inch group of 3 at 300 yards either. If it were easy you would be worth alot less. No need to be rude.
