Cities are hard enough to survive on your own. I couldnt imagine having a kid with someone and forcing them to grow up in such an environment. For starters, job competition is inflated, crime is high from squatters rights being prominent along with usually high gun control. Most importantly, politicians who use their position to get them and their officials rich keep getting voted for. The moment you stop voting for these people, your bigger city will become a better place. Jobs will stop leaving your city and criminals won't know who's a plainclothes cop or a citizen who wants to keep themselves and their family safe.
Correct most politicians runs for public office for personal and financial gain that has nothing to do with the people .
US bonds in general are hard to sell right now.

All it takes for a long term plan is one idiot.
Sounds like I need to save up money in order to get involved in these tax options. It sounds like an easy way to get either a good payout or some property that I could sell for market value while paying non-market prices.

@@far-middle ~ I miss the weather in Southern California but tolerating the humidity is easier than tolerating the woke insanity that is destroying a beautiful State. I don't see bugs as an issue here. I thought they were worse in Florida. Bugs are easier to eliminate than brainwashed delusional woke ideology.
They're broke and have to take loans and to get loans they turn to banks and when they turn to banks they go for ESG loans. ESG then forces DEI and DEI leads to more brokeness.

have a well off family member in NY who lives in a Continual Care Community, the kind of place it costs a million bucks to buy in plus a 7k monthly cost. He was a high end business guy(obviously)and was very shocked that many of the other people who live there are retired New York school teachers. Now I love teachers but thats a huge burden for teachers to have that type of benefits that enable them to do that will break any city.

As do I, although most of the increase i have seen is in the NW areas. much more concerned with the large amount of street kids you see at many intersections. Grew up here and you never saw this with college age kids living on the street except for certain areas downtown/4th ave. now they are everywhere.
It doesn't really matter who is POTUS, or wich of US two political party you support, it's all the same. USA already have States that are in the level of Third World Countries, USA infrastructure is mostly in the level where it was in 1950s, and USA government doesn't care it's own people as individuals, only as a workforce to make more money, to already rich and powerful. USA is not the land of the free, it's land of the slaves. I'm pretty sure USA will fall in next 100 years, good thing is that Native Tribes can claim back their own lands.
People learned the wrong lesson when leased their car and house. Just because it looked good at the time, once you get laid off or get into a bad accident, you may not be able to pay any of it back. That's the reason cities are in trouble. They never took in the possibity that walmart and tesla might leave and stop paying those taxes.
I disagree with your assessment on cause ( it definitely speed it up). The State of CA in 2019 approved a state budget WITH a deficit of 52 billion annually. Their social services are over extended ( for tax revenue being received) and abused and thatis bankrupting the state.
On the federal level - our interest payment just in our national debt is our largest annual liability as a nation
All those rich people online say that debt is wealth. That is how you should become rich according to them. Borrow it and it is tax free. Seems to be how the governments in America, local, state and federal work. I am guessing all governments work that way. I have not learned how to borrow millions of dollars without the assets to put up for collateral yet and I do not think you can.
Using debt to tax evade is extremely common, but you definitely need some type of collateral to get major funding.

Opinion from the 51st State here:
#1) = Because the US hasn't worked out how to do PAYE (/ Pay As You Earn) income tax. Which would mean that the government always knew in advance how much money they would get + so that there'd be no more 'shutdowns' making things unstable for everybody.
#2) = Because the US hasn't implemented social health care, which would give everyone a huge boost in incomes + enable them to spend + save more + be more stable.
#3) = Because you want to pay for more than enough nukes to blow up the planet far more than once.
#4) = Because you believe in the gross fantasy that 'trickle-down' economics actually works how it's supporters tell you it would.
#5) = Because you give too many tax breaks + loopholes to big business to get out of paying what they owe.
#6) = Because you think it's more important to spend money on things like cameras + metal detectors + shooter drills in schools than it is to overturn something that isn't even in in the constitution (it's just an amendment, folks) from 200 years ago that the Founders said should be reviewed every few years (as opposed to slavish devotion to it in the belief that people who didn't have flight, electricity or even pens were somehow wiser than everybody else throughout the rest of future history).
#7) = Because you allow your politicians to be bought by the people who stop you from doing steps #1-#6.
This is why your state isn't real, lol. First of all "trickle down" is a term coined by democrats so that democrats have a problem to solve. Its not real and never was. Second, the problem is that taxes are too high so your solution is universal health care that would require a MASSIVE hike in taxes to fund. So, just tax the rich right? Ok cool, now they will put their money in foreign countries to avoid the taxes. Everyone loses. Turn off CNN and use your brain
