The way my jaw dropped at "kidding, it's Luka". I never even cared that much about her voicebank, but right now I feel BAD for her. Like this is so bad.
@@liz_violet Speaking of which, I went to the London Miku Expo, it was 2 days ago. Except for Miku ofc, they all got one solo only. But for Luka it was a bit weird, lemme explain. So After 3 Miku songs at the beggining, it was time for the others, so after her was Rin, Len, Rin and Len duo, Kaito, Meiko, Kaito and Meiko duo in order. When Meiko got her song finished I thought it was obviously gonna be Luka's turn, we all did, but no. Miku had 3 other songs before Luka got her own. It's weird isn't it ? Even I, as a non Luka fan, felt bad for her and her fans. She finaly appeared at the 13th song of the show ! Poor her. I mean, I heard she's loosing popularity and I didn't believe it before I saw that. (If you didn't know for the London song order, you can find the setlist on instagram account mikuconcerts_). Idk if it will be the same for Paris Miku expo to which I'm going tomorrow, I'll see, but I don't have much hope.
I have made these points about the games for YEARS but back then brainless "miku fans" would say that I'm hating 😒 Games like Future tone DX and Megamix are prime examples of how they are milking the crap out of this franchise and their dumb fans by only doing the barest minimum. FTDX had only 1 new song ghost rule, and Megamix looked so lifeless with the toon shader. Even fan projects have much better ideas like the guy who ports Future tone PVs into F style PVs. But yall kept licking Crypton's ass so that's what you get I guess
the fact that teto got a synthV which made her sound so human-like and smooth while miku (+the others) on the other hand nowadays.... sounds so low-quality to the point where i've seen people compare them to UTAU's is.... one of the most ironic things ever. Maybe crypton leaving vocaloid wasn't a good idea....
@@quickepicfrizz2152 The thing is Crypton doesn't want Miku or any of their voicebanks to sound "human" even now that they are working on Miku AI, they said that they will do everything possible to keep it sounding like Miku.
@@Osu_San Oh yes you're right, that is true. I understand this decision, but... at the same time what we got afterwards with NT/SP is just worse in comparison to what miku (+ the others) had before imo, even if there have been slight improvements with NT... seeing them go back for a Miku v6 just leaves me wondering what was even the point of that, lol. ...I do hope they're able to achieve what they're looking for with Miku v6.
Megurine Luka going from one of my favourite voicebanks to EASILY my least favourite because of how Crypton butchered her SP to sound like some weird mash of Miku and MEIKO is something I'll never get over u_u
no wonder I feel like I can't differenciate Luka and Meiko voice when I was playing pjsk... (well ya I pay lower attention to them but) SO THIS IS THE PROBELM!!
The only thing I dislike about project sekai is that they suck at tuning the vocaloids (especially MEIKO). I would appreciate it if they used the original vocaloid more often like for the sekai ver. of Kirapipi★Kirapika uses the original MEIKO
real 🙏 the vocaloids literally ruin certain commissions and covers. for example, wxs's love ka cover wouldn't have been so bad if they didn't have that FUCKASS tuning for meiko
I think they wouldn't care at all since ppl want the humans in this game at this point ,it's not really a vocaloid centered game at all and like ,ppl that play it make the game characters sing instead of the vocaloid version
one of the worst tuning mistakes imo is Brain Revolution Girl, the absolutely BUTCHERED miku’s voice and she syncs horrible with the actual voices. I will NEVER understand who would listen to that cover voluntarily.
I downloaded pjsk earlier this year as its the only vocaloid game that's available to me, and I do not know a single thing about any of the characters. Yet the game wants you to view the stories to pull for cards to get more skill (which I understand, it would be nice for there to be just a bit more vocaloid in the vocaloid game, yk?). I understand their new approach, and people love the characters, and I don't mind that. It just, when you view the area conversations the vocaloids giggle whereas the people actually talk. Also about the covers, I just dont like them at all. Love is war, the AAAAAAA at the start feels like they're singing in lowercase, like why?? Oh well im just ranting and I probably don't even play the game properly lol
@shady8868 Otomachi una just got hers like two days ago, I think there's a pretty good chance, I hope all the vocaloid gang will have theirs eventually (except the cryptonloids since probably crypton will not want that)
they effed up judgment of corruption dawg 😭😭 it doesn't even sound the same anymore (edit: mothy made a remaster but kaito still sounds like a dweeb in pjsk idc)
@@lobster9290 Why are you lying? Judgment of Corruption doesn't use Kaito SP or any different tuning. It's a VS only song and therefore, it uses the original version of the song composed and tuned by Mothy himself.
@@Osu_SanAnd the vocals used in the game are the remade versions that mothy uploaded a few years ago on his UA-cam channel. Strangely, these newer versions are not on Spotify but the original versions.
Nah ur so right and you should say it. Specifically it really annoyed me how everyone on the internet seemed to blame Crunchyroll for the failures of Miku Expo 2024 when Coachella had more or less the same issues and people STILL blamed crunchyroll even though that was all Crypton and crunchyroll was not involved. Like how much control do you think a sponsor has over an entire concert. It seemed like ppl just wanted to make a narrative of Crunchyroll ruining the concert bc crunchyroll already has a reputation for being a bad company (it probably is, idk the lore but like it’s a big company so 🤷♀️) But the problem is that almost no one was criticizing Crypton. And I think a lot of people genuinely think Crunchyroll is the big bad company that ruined things while Crypton is some small wholesome indie company… At the end of the day they’re both companies. Anyway thanks for coming to my TED talk
Crypton is certainly partly to blame, but when a company sponsors something they usually get to decided a lot of things, and if they don’t get their way they pull out of the sponsorship. Crunchyroll is dogshit, they overcharge for everything and they seem to have a habit of fucking up nearly everything they touch. It also can’t be a coincident that previous Miku expos have been almost fault-free, then suddenly Crunchyroll comes along and BOOM everything goes to shit.
@@ThatHawksSimp Yeah that’s true too, I don’t mean to understate crunchyroll’s problems, moreso just that I think Crypton should be getting their fair share of the blame too
what are some alternative Anime streaming sites other than Hi-dive so I can watch CR exclusives? Because that is the only way Imma get rid of my Crunchyroll account@@ThatHawksSimp
THIS COMMENT RIGHT HERE, I LOVED MIRAI SO MUCH. It was different (ofc being a spin off of the diva series) but had SOOO much heart and soul to it, im so sad they aren't interested in bringing that (and diva) back as I'm sure many, including me wouldve loved that... theres no way it wouldnt do well.
Literally they kept complaining that they discontinued it bc it wasn’t making them enough money even though it’s literally their fault like how u gonna complain about ppl not making you enough money but your not giving ppl any content to spend on like make it make sense 💀
SPEAK 🗣️ YOUR 🗣️ TRUTH 🗣️ Crypton IS a multimillion dollar company that not only collaborated with FRICKING POKEMON BUT ALSO PERFORMED AT COACHELLA, so they have the budget to make quality products but they don’t. Consumers shouldn’t mindlessly accept this without thinking critically. Hold your companies accountable or boycott!🔥 (lol got a little political there (⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝))

@@sckaze777 I really wanted to support them still 🥺 so I bought megamix for the PC... It had weird random lag spikes thanks to the drm so I had to issue a refund :( you cannot afford to have random lags in the middle of a song in a rhythm game
All I want is a KAITO update with Naoto Fuuga again cause I know for a fact he’d be down he’s KAITO’s number one fan and father he’d be on board for a new voice bank so PLEASE GOD
The announcement of SUPERPACK was so rushed that iXima wasn't even able to finish the promotional artworks for the gang and they had to literally show unfinished sketches. Also them having the AUDACITY to ask fans money to build statues for MEIKO and KAITO (FOR THEIR ANNIVERSARY mind you), while they pop out stautes for Miku left and right. No respect for the OGs 😢 Also SEGA completely shutting down the whole Project DIVA franchise because it would be too "costly" to produce despite them literally make the mobile game in order to be able to support the main series. I honestly feel like after V3 they just stopped caring...

they totally just dropped diva because pjsk is a gacha game so they can get more gambling money from it, since although the dlcs for megamix are exploitative as fuck they are a one time purchase
The Kaimei one is so insane on hindsight when I think about it..., like I know Miku is the most popular and iconic, Of course they're going to make statues and plaster her everywhere.. but asking fans to raise money for a Kaito and Meiko statue or else they would've never made them on their literal anniversary is criminal, Crypton disregarding Meiko and Kaito has gone on for so long + is so common that I'm used to it at this point lol.
At least project Sekai actually lets them support the people who make the music lol. Project diva is dead, it’s already lost the popularity the series had. Future tone is probably the last we’ll ever see of the series.
I'm a proseka (project sekai) player, but I was always a vocaloid megafan since I was a young tween. I listened all the time, played the project diva games, kept up on vocaloid news/etc. My favorite of the classics was always Luka! But, it's sad to not see a level of care put into the other vocaloids 🥺
I've been a vocaloid fan for a long time and the fact that I couldn't tell that was Luka singing instead of Miku really shows how much they butchered her she's not even unique anymore. Also, my poor boy Kaito keeps sounding more like Kermit every time I hear him for pjsk they could at least use people like Mitchie M or Deco 27 to tune for them.
which is weird as Im pretty sure they have hired people to tune, (Ex. Lost one's wheeping Len cover, Meiko earth's final confession cover, these two are so obviously not by them.).... yet they still continue to do it themselves, why?
I've been a Vocaloid fan for abt a year now. When I first heard how MEIKO sounds in pjsk, I thought that's how she actually sounds. I've never listen to MEIKO's song out of pjsk until my friend recommended me a MEIKO, that's when I notice her voice was really powerful NOT SOME NASALLY AHH TUNING LIKE IN PJSK... That just shows how bad they tune these Vocaloid in pjsk. 😭
Meiko is done so dirty so often, even besides the atrocious tuning they keep trying to pitch her up to match the other female voices when she's naturally more of an alto so she sounds even worse. Some good Meiko use: Oster Project does a lot of original songs with her (On the Rocks uses V3 Meiko and Kaito and they sound so much better than anything project sekai has ever done with them) , Break it Break it is a cool rock-ish song, and Meiko has my favorite covers of Melt and Rolling Girl (beating out the versions with my favorite voicebanks even) by giving them a more mature feel. Justice for Meiko 😭😭😭
Superpack is SUCH a let down,,, seeing all 6 of the Crypton Vocaloids together (not just Miku) on one box made me so happy- and then I took one listen to them and couldn’t believe they were the same ones they used in Project Sekai 😭 Can you believe Miku sounded better in *2016* with her v4 voice bank? How NT and super-pack managed to regress in quality is astonishing and incredibly disappointing.
How they handled the Miku Expo merch was a freaking JOKE. I kid you not, when I went to the show in Austin Texas in April- they only had a quantity of 50 freaking glowsticks. 50. In a stadium of thousands.
The fact that vocaloid used to just be a program for making music but has now turned into this franchise where they can literally print "Hatsune Miku" onto any random thing just to make a profit is kinda sad. I agree that crypton is truly taking advantage of their fans; we've reached the point where merchandise has become more important than the original products themselves. Like project sekai isn't even focused solely on vocaloid. All of the main characters are just random add-ons to a game that's supposed to be about Miku.
I downloaded pjsk because I heard of vocaloid and wanted to get to know it better and now that I’ve been playing for a while it is kinda disappointing that there are the Sekai versions and everything instead of the whole thing revolving around vocaloid. I just wish they would’ve made all the characters vocaloids because there’s so many they could have used
@@Astrallex I tried it too and was pretty surprised haha. Dunno what I was expecting though, I guess I kind of thought it would be more similar to project diva. I agree that it would be better if it were just Miku, Luka, KAITO, etc and followed the format of the rest of their games.
@@PrincessHime09 We already had a mobile project diva game that was named, hatsune miku dreamy vocal but it must not have reach expectations as it got shut down years ago. just to clear something up a bit tho... Project sekai was always intended to be a fresh and new approach, not an extension of the project diva series which is why this one is so vastly different and less focused on miku and the others. The ocs aren't "add ons", they are the main focus of the game, not miku, as it was expected for people to come into the game for vocaloid and stay playing it for the new characters. I feel like the best course of action was to keep diva for those who really wanted a game "focused on miku and the others" but sadly sega says no for a reason I dont understand....
I can't help but get this feeling that while Miku is still as popular as ever, the actual producers-the roots of the scene-are just starting to move on without CFM. Almost every major Miku producer out there is either still using V4X or moving on to other voicebanks and synthesizers-or they're like DECO and CFM gives them early access to Miku V6. Miku is too iconic to really die, but having her most popular producers be stuck on an 8-year-old voicebank when it feels like the rest of the industry with SynthV and CeVIO are moving at the speed of light is a pretty bad situation to be in. I think it's possible that if CFM doesn't act fast enough, Miku could end up outgrowing the community she was born into. People joked when CFM announced the Super Pack and that they'd make more Vocaloid banks again that Yamaha must've paid them hand over fist for the privilege. While I think Yamaha does _need_ CFM's IP for Vocaloid to be as visible as it is, I think CFM needs Yamaha's actual tech more. The Piapro Studio and NT experiment failed to attract a significant userbase even with the starpower of the Cryptonloids, and now they're stuck with this platform that not enough people use, with voicebanks that don't sound good, and little to no third-party interest unlike Vocaloid, SynthV, CeVIO, VoiceVox, Neutrino, and so on and so forth. I think their goal now is to get a V6 Miku in before Gumi V6/SV, Teto SV, Kafu, and Zundamon steal the spotlight from her. I also actually do hope that they didn't sign some exclusivity agreement with Yamaha, because I think making a SynthV and/or CeVIO Miku would go absolutely crazy.
I don’t know about the others overtaking her but I do want a SynthV Miku very bad. My switch would be completely. Have the whole Studio One set up just for her and her friends lol
GOD RIGHT? Former competitor vocaloids to Cryptonloids on SynthV and Cevio have 10x the progress that Miku and co. SHOULD be having it's crazy I'm surprised they didnt bother with either engine fr, BC the last two years or so have been NUTS
me and my friends saved for an entire year to be able to enjoy miku expo and then they did all the mess WE (CDMX) DIDNT EVEN GET GLOWSTICKS???? All glowsticks had to be purchased from the united states side of the tour, which, HIGHLY increased costs for us latin american fans due to shipping 😭
Idk how the American tour was like, I'm not murican, but I've been in EU, and besides the shipping issues, It was AMAZING!!! i had so much fun, the stage looked stunning and we even got sitting seats!!!!
About ACT1: the production was hella rushed, and ACT2 was a hacky worksround for Yamaha's stupid policy about VB updates. They sound worse because the samples are mastered incorrectly, and have an acutal fuzzy sound
Which is why when Append released, people actually started liking Len and Rin since they didn’t sound horrible. I can’t even bare to listen to Act1 or Act2 Kagamine without getting a headache 💀 but their Append banks sound much better.
Crypton did Luka’s voice bank so dirty.. SHE LITERALLY JUST SOUNDS LIKE MIKU???? WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING DIFFERENT VOICE BANKS IF ONE SOUNDS JUST LIKE ANOTHER????????
RIGHT??? LIKE- THE WHOLE POINT OF CREATING A GROUP OF CHARACTER VOCALS IN THIS INDUSTRY IS TO CATER TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE AND HAVE PRODUCT DIVERSITY Luka had a beautiful voice in her prior banks that gave her an identity to separate from the rest of the group... did they forget to relisten to her older banks for reference???
sometimes i like to pretend that the cryptonloids stopped having new voicebanks after 2017 cause everything after that is just bad, i prefer discontinued vocaloids than vocaloids with bad voicebanks, luka is now basically a new miku append, and kaito sounds like hes dead😭
"I'm not into PJsekai and I don't care about it" me too bro But that Meiko usage and Kaito ooooooHOOOOOO WHAT HAS HAPPENED. WHAT IS GOING ON OVER THERE? THAT'S MEANT TO BE OFFICIAL? I'VE HEARD FAAANS TUNE BETTER THAN THAT
We love Kaito and Gakupo here😌💙💜 Also I love Miku but I have to agree...I know she's the mascot but damn can we see some Kaito or Gakupo or Meiko content? I just joined this fandom and it's so irritating looking up Kaito merch and realizing I fell in love with another unpopular character again...fun.
pros of being fully stuck in the past and not caring about recent vocaloid updates is that i dont have to deal with this like ive been peacefully playing future tone and listening to songs from 2012 for years i hadn't even heard these new voicebanks which are... wow um...
Something I’ve seen nobody talk about is miku expo setlists getting shorter and shorter, this is pretty upsetting because the ticket prices have only gone up and even if a 20 minute difference is not huge that’s still like 5 songs
Yes, I was really surprised when miku expo lasted just one and a half hours. I knew it wouldn't be super long, but still. Especially because it's a virtual concert and Miku doesn't get tired or exhausted or anything like that. I still enjoyed miku expo though
oh my god i agree so much with the project sekai thing. while i'm actually a fan and i understand that the main point is that it's a vocaloid (cryptonloid?) game, literally every song would sound better if there were just humans singing, hell maybe the tuning would be decent if they weren't using the superpack (more like superCRAP) but i guess they really wanna advertise their shitty new product 😔
I'm going to take this opportunity to vent. Even Magical Mirai isn’t the same anymore. The lack of effort is noticeable, and what really makes me angry is that they used different models in the same concert. This year’s Magical Mirai had the F model, the first R3 model, the new R3 model (which looks similar to the F model), the MikuPA model, and the Future Tone model. All in the same concert. This completely ruins the immersion for me. For god's sake, just choose one model style and stick with it! Also, Miku barely changes outfits anymore. It’s almost always the default outfit. "Magical Mirai 2013" and "Miku 39's Giving Day 2012" will always be the best Miku concerts for me. I love Miku so much, and seeing this happen makes me really sad… Edit: Thank you all for the comments. It makes me really happy to know I’m not the only one who feels this way. If a new Project DIVA game were to come out and they gradually updated the models to match a new style, I would understand. But as we all know, our beloved Project DIVA is dead, so there’s no need to keep changing the models repeatedly. When that happens, it feels like I’m just watching random MMD Hologram Ready videos on UA-cam. They also need to use more outfits. Miku has so many beautiful outfits (and this applies to other Cryptonloids too). She doesn’t need to change outfits for every song, but at least for 4 or 5 songs. For example, "When the First Love Ends" at this year’s Magical Mirai is exactly what I want: a model that matches the current style and the outfit for that song, or simply a change to another outfit. KAITO's "Call!!" is another great example. This variety helps viewers feel like they aren’t seeing the same thing all the time. Crypton and SEGA need to understand that when we criticize something, it’s because we care about it. They have shown us they can create amazing concerts before. Remember, this concert could be the first and last for someone, so let’s make it the best it can be! If you have never watched "Miku 39's Giving Day 2012" or "Magical Mirai 2013", I highly recommend that you watch them! They are worth every second! Sorry for my English. I'm from Portugal, and sometimes I might not express myself perfectly.
FOR REAL PREACHHHHH I HAVE BEEN SAYING AGAINST THIS FOR YEARS but as usual idi0t "vocaloid fans" would just be like stop watching if you dont like it Like girl they just need to stick to one model which is the F model. NO NEED FOR OTHER MODELS it really breaks the immersion as you said
Also if you ever compare crypton concerts to Nico Nico ones Nico Nico really plays with the technology and adds fun props and background elements in songs, crypton does it a bit more now but it’s like they’re afraid of doing more
To give them the tiiiiiiiiiiniest amount of leeway regarding the models, I get wanting to reuse the already rendered videos. They don't need to worry that the old animation may not work with more recent models, or perhaps having to redo the animation which can take time, whether cause it's incompatible or maybe because it got lost. Just purely guessing. BUT!!! It really bothers me too how inconsistent it feels for the models to be changing constantly. While it is neat to see them live (I got the chance to see them at the LA concert in april), I'd rather them just stick with one art style for all the songs, and just redo or change the choreography with the current-style model, which they can clearly do! They updated "When the First Love Ends" which hadn't been performed since MikuPa in 2013!! They can do it! So they should do it.
this is why i’m SO glad they never got their hands on teto. i’ve heard there were a few attempts of them trying to get ownership of teto cuz of her popularity and it never happened. teto is my favorite, so if they did have teto she would have more merch, most likely more love, but i’m glad she never got owned by them. like her synth v vb is so peak (utau too) and i don’t think she would be able to have that if she was owned by crypton, along with that she would be in pjsk and then people would also associate teto with pjsk mostly if they know nothing about vocaloid. lowkey i’m tired of everyone only giving attention to the cryptonloids when there are so many other voicebanks that are just as good, if not better than all of the ones crypton owns. but they don’t want to look into them cuz they’re not popular or not in pjsk. i want merch of other vocaloids too, like lowkey i’ve found myself hating on miku a lot cuz she’s the only one people seem to care about. like she gets so much merch yet if i wanted a figure of gumi or something my entire wallet will catch on fire bruh. i wish the other vocaloids or just voicebanks from other programs were able to get the love the cryptonloids get.
I don't think they wanted to get "ownership" of Teto. Instead they did try and experimented a bit to see how she would sound like If she was in Vocaloid sotfware. However, they didn't like how she lost her charm and the idea was scrapped. This wasn't made without the consent and overseeing of Twindrill, Teto's creators, who are apparently in good terms with the team of Crypton since they owe them so much for her existence.
This is all so true, I feel like too many people let their mistakes slide because “they created Miku, they can do no wrong” The Super Pack was so comically bad, yet so many people bought it anyway; it stinks to watch people try and work with the SP voicebanks while very much knowing these aren’t the voices they wanted, people should not have to try desperately to “de-Miku-ify” Luka and Meiko for god’s sake That thing about them not being a small company is so true too, idk why Crypton is like “we’re too broke to make a new Project DIVA” while sharting out new Miku merch every time I blink
God, exactly. I do feel bad for those super fans tho, it must be hard having to come to terms with the fact that the company that has power over their favorite characters are doing a terrible job of expanding them to hold up in the modern vocal synth industry. I just hope they wake up and face that truth soon
THANKS FOR TALKING ABOUT THE MIKU EUROPE MERCH DISASTER- I bought my glowsticks 5 minutes after the opening back in August and I still don't have them :') my concert is in 2 days so I will never have it in time lol (more seriously, I've had 2 weeks to accept that fact, and now that Europe concerts have actually started I'm feeling the hype so I'm feeling okay ^^)
i went to london - if you're gonna end up getting merch in person i really suggest arriving hours before doors open because that's what i did (i joined the queue about 2-3 hours before doors opened) and the queue was essentially wrapped around the building by the time i got to the front of an originally 100 feet long queue. they had multiple merch booths at the london venue which is what makes that even crazier. i really hope you have fun - dont worry about the tv problem btw it was blended in a lot better yesterday
THANK YOU ! IDK if I agree with everything (yeah for the vast majority) but sometimes they really just do the bare minimum. For example, Imagine having a concert that use projection as a REAL tool for creative performances... But nope, we have "basic characters vibing a little in a PITCH BLACK VOID of nothingness in default outfit and nothing happens" for 95 percent of songs So much missed potential, for such an massive and beautiful creative movement :I
i completely understand that 😭 the fact they didnt say anything was so odd?? the screen itself wasnt that bad as someone who went to the shows and the screen for the london show was barley visible at all. im glad they are at least improving but i wish they at least informed that the hologram wont be in place for the tour
I agree so much with what you're saying like they could do SO much, that's why I'll always think nico nico cho parties are the best vocaloid concerts because they're so creative and made with so much love
@@amia1270 Oh I wasn't talking just about the TV situation, it's just the final nail in the coffin But I'm happy to know that it's blended better, I'm going to the French live but mostly for my Friend at this point, and it's good to know we can now look at the screen without the gaping abyss staring back at us !

real and true anyone else remember when they told us (before everyone knew it wasn't like the past ones) that they'd only allow miku expo penlights for the north american tour this year since other ones would "interfere" with the projections or something like that. and then they dragged out that stupid tv instead 😭
EXACTLYY. It's crazy how much the VOCALOID fandom is dependant on one company, especially when that company puts out absolute milktoast content. I wish there were more IRL events outside of Japan other than crypton's concerts. The niconico cho party events look like way more fun than expo/snow miku/etc.
It's just been one big shitshow after another with them. The fact that they didn't tell attendees about the screen. The only thing close to addressing it was when they made an Instagram story asking people to not take pictures in the venues. The fact that they didn't have any real demos for the individual SP banks and just expected people to buy them. At least they've been bullied into making a V6 vb, and have stated that they intend to make progress in terms of realism going forward. But really, like my brother said: In the past few years, Jerma has done more good for Miku than Crypton has.
This is so real bc why are all the comments in alt covers of songs "omg the tuning improved sm ^_^!!!" and then it sounds like an utau voicebank of a fart
I went to the London concert yesterday and they changed the layout of the stage, and the screen blended SO MUCH BETTER. I was way happier than I thought I’d be. I feel like a lot of the fuck ups of the expo are Crunchyroll’s fault, they were the sponsor of the tour and are known to be money hungry bastards that fuck up everything they touch. I really hope they stay FAAARRRR away from the next Miku Expo, regardless of whether we get a screen or not.
Yes! The screen actually looked amazing and in my opinion looked more immersive than the projection. You could hardly tell the screen was there except for very brief moments when the lighting was really dark :))
The lighting was really good too. Heard people sitting had a different pov of how the screen looked. It's easy to tell that Crunchyroll was the main issue
Also, CFM is ABSOLUTELY at fault for how bad NT was/is, but I don't blame them for wanting to get away from Vocaloid rn bc Yamaha is running the software into the GROUND. Am I saying "Miku SynthV"? No, I think that wouldn't sound 'Miku' enough, but then again literally what even is V5 and V6 💀💀💀

This video truly is one of the words of all time. Especially the ending. And the "tbh idc about the Crypton Six" bit. Seeing how I myself got into vsynth and rhythm games through PD extend almost 10 years ago, I think developing banner blindness for [Hatsune Miku] was a matter of time. Just hits right in the soul.
As a bit of elaboration, I'll say a few more things. The Project Diva point is also due to the departure of Hiroshi Utsumi, the series' creative director. No one capable showed up to succeed in his place, I guess. Which is why we see the constant waterfall of Arcade rereleases -they'd better do this to smth good istg-. I'll give Sekai a few good points for doing things well: they run their Proseka NEXT and ULTIMATE contests; they invite vocaPs to write them original songs [which sometimes even sparks a comeback!]; the focus on human characters allowed for the inclusion of non-Crypton synth songs in the game. And that's it for me. Not much else to say, what hasn't been said already.
I’m someone who’s fairly new to vocaloid-I’ve always heard songs growing up but didn’t decide to look into it again until recently, and I’ve learned a lot more behind the scenes stuff-but yeah no every point you make here is 100% justified. I especially HARD AGREE with the “I rather have no content then new content that’s shit” point at the end. I’m someone who’s mostly into stuff that could be deemed dead as they don’t get much content and don’t even have fandoms around it which most people would say is sad, and yeah sometimes it is especially when you try to tell people about what you like, but whenever I see series that always get content be so low effort I feel kinda glad what I like even if it hasn’t gotten shit in YEARS cause at least it wasn’t milked to death. (I’m also of the belief of no matter how irrelevant something is, if it’s good it’s still worth getting into but I don’t wanna turn this into a whole unrelated tangent lol) And vocaloid is sadly an example of this even if there’s still good content being made it’s mainly by the fans playing with voice banks it seems, and less of whatever the company is officially releasing. I hope at some point crypton gets their shit together but that’s only gonna happen if people stop buying their garbage but that’ll be a hard cycle to break when this is vocaloid we’re talking about 😔
I was all “meh, I don’t buy anything NOR play their games, NOR have their voicebanks, but I love them”… until I’ve actually been convinced now that their company is actually trash. You made robust points, and they’re just… real.
3:24 god, as a Project Sekai fan I can attest to this The amount of times that there's been a song covered in the game where the human characters put their entire SOUL into performing and sound amazing... ...only for the entire thing to immediately be brought down to a 4/10 because of how DOG SHIT AWFUL THE CRYPTON-LOIDS SOUND IS UNFORGIVABLE like look at Tokyo Teddy Bear. look how they've massacred my boy 😭😭
5:12 THANK YOU!! I swear there are so many other vocal synths that should be getting attention. Miku has been in the game for 16 years LET HER REST FOR A BIT.
I like to think Miku is just a gateway and not the centerpiece, bc let me tell you, after my own vsynth journey that has me realizing how many options besides Miku and co are, THATS how I stayed bc Miku was already getting stagnant to me :'DDDD
Absolutely right. And also the thing about project sekai is that it puts vocaloid so far aside, it's like an ornament that makes you think "they're not fooling me and this is what I want". It's painful to hear those ugly covers where they use those horrible voice banks 😭
I think Sega is easier to blame for the Project DIVA series-sure, Crypton has a hand in it, but Sega are the ones who make and publish the games, and it seems that after Project DIVA X went in the wrong direction and failed, they decided "Ah, Project DIVA is dead" and doubled down on Future Tone because it's the arcade spinoff that they were making anyway. Anyway, as for CFM's handling of NT, the Super Pack, and all that... Yeah no, some of the worst behaviour I've seen from a voicebank company in this space, but I can't be surprised. Since they have Miku's starpower, they wanted to try and strike it out on their own and cut out Yamaha. I think people tend to give companies like CFM a free pass because of how liberal their policies are with regard to fan content-compared to other fandoms, like Nintendo games, it's a breath of fresh air to see a company actively involved in cultivating a strong fan community. But the thing is that this is an inherent feature of the Vocaloid scene as a whole-CFM are not special for doing this, and if they were then Vocaloid would've died a long time ago because the scene lives on indie producers and grassroots supporters. Anyway come to the Teto side, we have furansupan.

There's a weird subgroup of fans back in 2015 who will literally harass you if they find out you priated them but honestly v4 vocaloid editor was the best and I can't legally get it anymore so...
honestly i never forgive crypton butchering luka. the fact they tried to make her sound like miku and more “louder”, despite the fact the reason why luka was made was to oppose mikus and the kagamines more louder and harder voices with more of a softer tone.
That feeling when you getting stuff related to Vocaloid (Cryptonloids specifically) because you got into other VocalSynth stuff (UTAU and SynthV). ^^; I am like "wtf" on what they did to Luka tho, holy crap-
"The music videos are made with no love, it's just Miku on a stage, dancing, nothing else." And SEGA know that people will all shut up after complaining if they remain silent enough. So they can finally make lazy stage performance PV with suckass NT voice in peace, because it's way faster and cheaper to make 10 motion capture PVs like that than just 1 single Kagerou Daze PV alone, and after time the new-gen fanbase can't know that PVs were most used to be like short films with actual stories, not some goddamn stage performances every single time. Of course, I'm talking about Project Sekai. And of course, Project Sekai will never get the hate like what Project Diva X have got, because the fanbase love the freak out of new gacha banners and anime.
as someone who has loved vocaloid for about 6 years and got into project sekai like 2-3 years ago, i HATE THE NT VOICEBANKS WITH MY WHOLE HEART im sorry 💀💀
You made some pretty solid points here. Soild agree that they've become complete merchandizing harlots in recent years, which is really sad. It's a far cry from the days when they created a record label for VOCALOID producers and set up a system so that producers could get royalties for people covering their songs on UA-cam. Idek _what_ they're doing now. Only things I disagree with are the bit about Act 1 Kagamines (they have a lot of charm to them imo) and the bit about Megamix/Mega39's -- it was huge for folks like me who didn't own any PlayStation systems (and thus couldn't play any of the other DIVA games), and the shift in aesthetic to being more toon-y is imo pretty appealing. I wish they'd done the DLC a la carte style instead of song packs, though, so people could just pick the ones they want and leave the rest, which would be cheaper than buying a song pack for the one or two songs you want. But yeah. Crypton definitely needs to shape up and hold themselves to higher standards, and we the fans should also hold them to that.
i went to miku expo london this year and yes it was a screen but it was executed a lot better than the previous concerts just by changing the light positioning. i personally dont have an issue with them switching to using screens so long as it looks good and maybe im delusional but i went to miku expo 2020 and the 2024 display looked clearer to me and you couldnt even tell it was a screen when the main lights were off. i'm just sorta pissed that they never told anyone that there was a switch on the us tour???? they absolutely gotta stop sidelining meiko kaito and luka tho. nobody asked for half the shit miku sung on this years setlist 🙁 ALSO OMG THANK GOD ITS NOT JUST ME WHO THINKS THE TUNING IN SEKAI IS SHIT. i swear i was tweaking when everyone was glazing sekai group covers w vocaloids and im like HUH????? i think its kinda sad that they can pump out this garbage and basically ditch the diva series.
CFM is a joke, Project Diva X was a money laundering scheme, and whoever decided the "toon" filter for Mega Mix was the best option is legally obligated to apologize to every vocaloid fan, istg. In my household, we stan the crazy good SynthV voicebanks that are somehow higher quality than CFM voicebanks, which sounds like they got stuck in 2012.
I mean most companies are like this, it's not that they're different. Also, they're vocaloid, not AI text to speech programs. I've tried making a vocaloid sing, and holy shit it's hard to make things sound correctly, so no wonder most vocaloid songs sound weird.
@@Claas-ty1se not really when they sound much worse than their v4/V3 counterparts. I'm talking no tuning just listening to the base program. People have to mix their v4/V3 counterparts just to make them sound the same. Even people who are really good at tuning them say that cyptonloids are so much harder compared to synthv (from earthyx6 )
Since it was mentioned here: the tuning in Project Sekai is shockingly bad. I think I, back in 2020, after just picking up Vocaloid5 could have done a better job. I see no reason for it to be this bad, either. They have the money to hire talent, but it sounds like they just stuck some minimum wage employee or sad intern in front of the computer and went "now make Kaito sing it" or "now make Len sing it." I eventually stopped spending precious tickets on the vocaloid versions of songs and just saving them for the two idols the game actually managed to sell me on, which is saying a lot, since I am largely just here to play a Vocaloid rhythm game that isn't on something like the PS4.
sometime I just tried to pretend that Crypton stop making new Miku voicebank since V4X, but I can't because they are using NT in almost every new stuff like PJSK or movie
The way my jaw dropped at "kidding, it's Luka". I never even cared that much about her voicebank, but right now I feel BAD for her. Like this is so bad.

Yep Luka is perfect but she needs more attention
(If you didn't know for the London song order, you can find the setlist on instagram account mikuconcerts_). the fact that teto got a synthV which made her sound so human-like and smooth while miku (+the others) on the other hand nowadays.... sounds so low-quality to the point where i've seen people compare them to UTAU's is.... one of the most ironic things ever.
Maybe crypton leaving vocaloid wasn't a good idea....
Being honest lots of utau's are higher quality than miku nt
@@quickepicfrizz2152 The thing is Crypton doesn't want Miku or any of their voicebanks to sound "human" even now that they are working on Miku AI, they said that they will do everything possible to keep it sounding like Miku.

Miku is OVERRATED, I'm just saying...
I've said it many times and everyone gets mad at me because new vocaloid fans basically only care about Miku
The only thing I dislike about project sekai is that they suck at tuning the vocaloids (especially MEIKO). I would appreciate it if they used the original vocaloid more often like for the sekai ver. of Kirapipi★Kirapika uses the original MEIKO
Theyre far in too deep to realize that nt tuning is shit
real 🙏 the vocaloids literally ruin certain commissions and covers. for example, wxs's love ka cover wouldn't have been so bad if they didn't have that FUCKASS tuning for meiko
Luka peaked in 2009 and I've accepted the fact she'll never sound deep and husky again. Crypton took the 'character' out of the character vocal series

Like project sekai isn't even focused solely on vocaloid. All of the main characters are just random add-ons to a game that's supposed to be about Miku.
Sega just wanted to make another generic mobile rythm game and used vocaloid to gain popularity, because otherwise nobody would care, change my mind
As a PJSK player I love the random add-ons 😭😭😭
Being a massive Luka and Meiko fan is hard these days I'm telling you
As a person who likes them most out of the cryptonloids I totally agree
Can you all stop with the "Deco got early access to Miku V6" lol
Its not true
GOD RIGHT?
Former competitor vocaloids to Cryptonloids on SynthV and Cevio have 10x the progress that Miku and co. SHOULD be having it's crazy
I'm surprised they didnt bother with either engine fr, BC the last two years or so have been NUTS
Everytime I complained about Miku expo 2024 EVERYONE would jump down my throat calling me ungrateful 😭
me and my friends saved for an entire year to be able to enjoy miku expo and then they did all the mess
WE (CDMX) DIDNT EVEN GET GLOWSTICKS????
All glowsticks had to be purchased from the united states side of the tour, which, HIGHLY increased costs for us latin american fans due to shipping 😭
Playlist pretty good, LCD terrible just why?
This was my second miku expo, my first was in 2016...in chicago
Where are you findings these people? All I've ever seen is people gutting that Miku EXPO (with reason). I never see anyone praise it...
@ literally on the Miku insta pages after the concert. My moots on TikTok too are just like, “be grateful we even get a concert”
The pjsk tuning is so true 😭We pray they for human only versions because most of the time the vocaloids are tuned like 2:26
Crypton did Luka’s voice bank so dirty.. SHE LITERALLY JUST SOUNDS LIKE MIKU???? WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING DIFFERENT VOICE BANKS IF ONE SOUNDS JUST LIKE ANOTHER????????
RIGHT??? LIKE- THE WHOLE POINT OF CREATING A GROUP OF CHARACTER VOCALS IN THIS INDUSTRY IS TO CATER TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE AND HAVE PRODUCT DIVERSITY
Luka had a beautiful voice in her prior banks that gave her an identity to separate from the rest of the group... did they forget to relisten to her older banks for reference???
sometimes i like to pretend that the cryptonloids stopped having new voicebanks after 2017 cause everything after that is just bad, i prefer discontinued vocaloids than vocaloids with bad voicebanks, luka is now basically a new miku append, and kaito sounds like hes dead😭
Meanwhile Teto thriving with her SynthV Voicebank
Yeah I think teto is getting more lucky every year meanwhile miku get bad luck lol 😂
teto has an epic concert coming up in march 2025 too.
And becoming the Miku of SynthV qwq Miku becoming the April Fools Joke Teto was.....
Crypton is like the Disney of the vocal synth industry smh
SynthV and Cevio aren't perfect either (like DreamWorks), but they get more respect by hitting the right marks more often qwq that analogy is so real
Meiko was cursed, I swear. She’s either being butchered by crypton or she doesn’t exist to crypton (usually the latter)
"I'm not into PJsekai and I don't care about it" me too bro
But that Meiko usage and Kaito ooooooHOOOOOO WHAT HAS HAPPENED. WHAT IS GOING ON OVER THERE? THAT'S MEANT TO BE OFFICIAL? I'VE HEARD FAAANS TUNE BETTER THAN THAT
They use unreleased nt voicebanks and it shows
We love Kaito and Gakupo here😌💙💜
Also I love Miku but I have to agree...I know she's the mascot but damn can we see some Kaito or Gakupo or Meiko content? I just joined this fandom and it's so irritating looking up Kaito merch and realizing I fell in love with another unpopular character again...fun.
Unpopular character lover gang
YAY CONSTANT MINNEMI POSTING!!!
pros of being fully stuck in the past and not caring about recent vocaloid updates is that i dont have to deal with this like ive been peacefully playing future tone and listening to songs from 2012 for years i hadn't even heard these new voicebanks which are... wow um...
Same lmao, I rather not listen to anything new than have to listen to “Luka” sound like _that_ (that’s not my Luka)
@@sosos7774 Not sure if it follows the other concerts but they usually have a liveband playing
oh my god i agree so much with the project sekai thing. while i'm actually a fan and i understand that the main point is that it's a vocaloid (cryptonloid?) game, literally every song would sound better if there were just humans singing, hell maybe the tuning would be decent if they weren't using the superpack (more like superCRAP) but i guess they really wanna advertise their shitty new product 😔
Old songs from like 2010 or something has much better tuning and thats a decade ago 😭😭😭
Off topic but I like your pfp. Snoopy’s epic
Tbh project sekai was a demo for the entire super pack for years since it's inception...I just wish they cared about anyone other than miku
I love Miku so much, and seeing this happen makes me really sad…
Edit: Thank you all for the comments.
FOR REAL PREACHHHHH I HAVE BEEN SAYING AGAINST THIS FOR YEARS but as usual idi0t "vocaloid fans" would just be like stop watching if you dont like it
Like girl they just need to stick to one model which is the F model. NO NEED FOR OTHER MODELS it really breaks the immersion as you said
And they have been doing this model switching for years now but it seems like it got way worse recently
Also if you ever compare crypton concerts to Nico Nico ones Nico Nico really plays with the technology and adds fun props and background elements in songs, crypton does it a bit more now but it’s like they’re afraid of doing more
THIS I HATE IT SO MUCH WHEN THEY CHANGE MODELS
And this is why UTAU and SynthV exists!
TRUE
Don't forget neutrine and others too like voisona
And Voisona recently amped up their game too
Like what da hell, Crypton has ZERO excuses... Utauloids sound BETTER than NT and SP combined
this is why i’m SO glad they never got their hands on teto. i’ve heard there were a few attempts of them trying to get ownership of teto cuz of her popularity and it never happened. teto is my favorite, so if they did have teto she would have more merch, most likely more love, but i’m glad she never got owned by them. like her synth v vb is so peak (utau too) and i don’t think she would be able to have that if she was owned by crypton, along with that she would be in pjsk and then people would also associate teto with pjsk mostly if they know nothing about vocaloid. lowkey i’m tired of everyone only giving attention to the cryptonloids when there are so many other voicebanks that are just as good, if not better than all of the ones crypton owns. but they don’t want to look into them cuz they’re not popular or not in pjsk. i want merch of other vocaloids too, like lowkey i’ve found myself hating on miku a lot cuz she’s the only one people seem to care about. like she gets so much merch yet if i wanted a figure of gumi or something my entire wallet will catch on fire bruh. i wish the other vocaloids or just voicebanks from other programs were able to get the love the cryptonloids get.
The idea that we could have been in a timeline where Teto is a Cryptonloid... Boy I wouldn't wanna live after that
I don't think they wanted to get "ownership" of Teto.
This is all so true, I feel like too many people let their mistakes slide because “they created Miku, they can do no wrong”
The Super Pack was so comically bad, yet so many people bought it anyway; it stinks to watch people try and work with the SP voicebanks while very much knowing these aren’t the voices they wanted, people should not have to try desperately to “de-Miku-ify” Luka and Meiko for god’s sake
That thing about them not being a small company is so true too, idk why Crypton is like “we’re too broke to make a new Project DIVA” while sharting out new Miku merch every time I blink
God, exactly.
I do feel bad for those super fans tho, it must be hard having to come to terms with the fact that the company that has power over their favorite characters are doing a terrible job of expanding them to hold up in the modern vocal synth industry. I just hope they wake up and face that truth soon
0:30 shitz so bad it almost became lost media
THANKS FOR TALKING ABOUT THE MIKU EUROPE MERCH DISASTER- I bought my glowsticks 5 minutes after the opening back in August and I still don't have them :') my concert is in 2 days so I will never have it in time lol (more seriously, I've had 2 weeks to accept that fact, and now that Europe concerts have actually started I'm feeling the hype so I'm feeling okay ^^)
i went to london - if you're gonna end up getting merch in person i really suggest arriving hours before doors open because that's what i did (i joined the queue about 2-3 hours before doors opened) and the queue was essentially wrapped around the building by the time i got to the front of an originally 100 feet long queue. they had multiple merch booths at the london venue which is what makes that even crazier.
i really hope you have fun - dont worry about the tv problem btw it was blended in a lot better yesterday
yaaaay minnemi posted again🔥🔥🔥🔥
I think 2010s are the golden year of Vocaloid, then after 2020s, the charm is missing.
THANK YOU ! IDK if I agree with everything (yeah for the vast majority) but sometimes they really just do the bare minimum. For example, Imagine having a concert that use projection as a REAL tool for creative performances... But nope, we have "basic characters vibing a little in a PITCH BLACK VOID of nothingness in default outfit and nothing happens" for 95 percent of songs
So much missed potential, for such an massive and beautiful creative movement :I
i completely understand that 😭 the fact they didnt say anything was so odd?? the screen itself wasnt that bad as someone who went to the shows and the screen for the london show was barley visible at all. im glad they are at least improving but i wish they at least informed that the hologram wont be in place for the tour
I agree so much with what you're saying like they could do SO much, that's why I'll always think nico nico cho parties are the best vocaloid concerts because they're so creative and made with so much love

Luka SP is a huge disservice that it makes Luka V4 look a saint 😭 it's also crazy how 10+ year old software is so much better in quality compared to the new voicebanks we have now

also you poor gakupo fans will probably never get an english voicebank despite gackt literally speaking perfect english on multiple occasions...
Anything outside of Crypton has more expensive stuff. It sucks honestly but that's not Cfms fault, other companies just make less merch. Excluding IA and One as they have so much

anyone else remember when they told us (before everyone knew it wasn't like the past ones) that they'd only allow miku expo penlights for the north american tour this year since other ones would "interfere" with the projections or something like that. and then they dragged out that stupid tv instead 😭
and people bought knockoff lights in the line for expo? and the security never cares bro, crypton stop lying!
EXACTLYY. It's crazy how much the VOCALOID fandom is dependant on one company, especially when that company puts out absolute milktoast content. I wish there were more IRL events outside of Japan other than crypton's concerts. The niconico cho party events look like way more fun than expo/snow miku/etc.
WHAT THE FLIPPING FLOP THEY DID TO MY GIRL LUKA. IM GONNA SUE THEM IM NOT KIDDING-
It's just been one big shitshow after another with them.
But really, like my brother said: In the past few years, Jerma has done more good for Miku than Crypton has.
as a project sekai fan i fucking HATE the tuning of the vocaloids so much and everyone is like “omg they tuned them so well!!!” NO THEY DIDNT 👹👹👹
It's easy to tell that Crunchyroll was the main issue
you got... a really big fair point
Ok like you absolutely ate with this except I'm gonna have to disagree on the Rin/Len V2 hate bc Act2 can sound really good if properly mixed
Also also, WHEN IS MIKU V6 COMING OUT IM DYING OVER HERE 😭😭😭

They won't change. It's obvious.
(I’m also of the belief of no matter how irrelevant something is, if it’s good it’s still worth getting into but I don’t wanna turn this into a whole unrelated tangent lol)
And vocaloid is sadly an example of this even if there’s still good content being made it’s mainly by the fans playing with voice banks it seems, and less of whatever the company is officially releasing.
3:24 god, as a Project Sekai fan I can attest to this
The amount of times that there's been a song covered in the game where the human characters put their entire SOUL into performing and sound amazing...
...only for the entire thing to immediately be brought down to a 4/10 because of how DOG SHIT AWFUL THE CRYPTON-LOIDS SOUND IS UNFORGIVABLE
like look at Tokyo Teddy Bear. look how they've massacred my boy 😭😭
this coming out right after the EMBARASSING london set list is very satifying lmao im so fucking pissed
3:31 finally someone understands that the vocaloids in project sekai sound like dookie shit crumbs thank you I thought I was the only one 😭
No hate but like
Pretty much more than half the pjsk fans hate the vocaloids tuning in pjsk-
That's so real. I wish Crypton could hear to their fans' complaints and be a better company

But yall kept licking Crypton's ass so that's what you get I guess

honestly i never forgive crypton butchering luka. the fact they tried to make her sound like miku and more “louder”, despite the fact the reason why luka was made was to oppose mikus and the kagamines more louder and harder voices with more of a softer tone.
That feeling when you getting stuff related to Vocaloid (Cryptonloids specifically) because you got into other VocalSynth stuff (UTAU and SynthV). ^^;
I am like "wtf" on what they did to Luka tho, holy crap-
"The music videos are made with no love, it's just Miku on a stage, dancing, nothing else."
And SEGA know that people will all shut up after complaining if they remain silent enough.
And of course, Project Sekai will never get the hate like what Project Diva X have got, because the fanbase love the freak out of new gacha banners and anime.
thx minnemi for the song!!! (video*)
as someone who has loved vocaloid for about 6 years and got into project sekai like 2-3 years ago, i HATE THE NT VOICEBANKS WITH MY WHOLE HEART im sorry 💀💀
But yeah. Crypton definitely needs to shape up and hold themselves to higher standards, and we the fans should also hold them to that.
i went to miku expo london this year and yes it was a screen but it was executed a lot better than the previous concerts just by changing the light positioning. i personally dont have an issue with them switching to using screens so long as it looks good and maybe im delusional but i went to miku expo 2020 and the 2024 display looked clearer to me and you couldnt even tell it was a screen when the main lights were off. i'm just sorta pissed that they never told anyone that there was a switch on the us tour???? they absolutely gotta stop sidelining meiko kaito and luka tho. nobody asked for half the shit miku sung on this years setlist 🙁
ALSO OMG THANK GOD ITS NOT JUST ME WHO THINKS THE TUNING IN SEKAI IS SHIT. i swear i was tweaking when everyone was glazing sekai group covers w vocaloids and im like HUH????? i think its kinda sad that they can pump out this garbage and basically ditch the diva series.
"I'd rather have no new content" *cries in zero-g power-fx fan*
And this why I love Kasane Teto, especially her SynthV voicebank which to be honest still sound like her and better than Miku.
I hate the fact that nobody is tryna see edit mode come back to project diva
CFM is a joke, Project Diva X was a money laundering scheme, and whoever decided the "toon" filter for Mega Mix was the best option is legally obligated to apologize to every vocaloid fan, istg. In my household, we stan the crazy good SynthV voicebanks that are somehow higher quality than CFM voicebanks, which sounds like they got stuck in 2012.
LIFE UPDATE, OTOMACHI UNA SYNTHV. PROVES MY POINT. SHE SOUNDS SO GOOD NOW, MY BABYGIRL IS BEYOND THE LIMITS OF VOCALOID
“So if no one’s gonna complain about them, I’m gonna do it.” so real queen🙏
I mean most companies are like this, it's not that they're different. Also, they're vocaloid, not AI text to speech programs. I've tried making a vocaloid sing, and holy shit it's hard to make things sound correctly, so no wonder most vocaloid songs sound weird.
but it gets even harder when the voicebanks themselves are terrible 😭😭😭
@@annieamare That's just an opinion, not a fact. I think they sound pretty decent
CRYPTON NEEDS TO GIVE MY BOY KAITO AND LUKA BETTER VOICEBANKS 😨😭
This is why Gakupo is superior in every way possible 💜💜
and Gakupo hasn't even gotten a new AI bank yet QwQ but hell, at least he didn't get the NT/SP treatment
What if instead of Project Diva, Megpoid the Music# was the popular Vocaloid saga?
Holy shit Megpoid the music 2 with all the Internet co loids i need
