This is exactly what always worries me when moving to new areas. This is a great video!
Definitely stay away from Pine Hills, Mercy Drive, Parramore pretty much the west side of Orlando
East orlando isn't much better. Semoran, curry ford, and yucatan are bad as well
@@solidsnake8331 facts
LOL east Orlando is crap! I’d rather live in the west a billion times
North side you have Eatonville, South side you have Oakridge, South obt. So yea there are bad neighborhoods in all directions. Good rule of thumb, if the elementary school is rated a 5 or under, it's probably not a great neighborhood.
so easy LIKE a piece of cake...if u want a safe area..buy a house that has good schools around and the rating around 7 or above... that's how u choose a good area...if bad area, schools are only 1-5... that's how is it ... NO NEED to do many things... just pick good schools around the area and look up crime rate..that's how u buy a house
Thank you for your honesty about steering😇
Thought this was going somewhere else you did well ! 💪🏾 lol I’m moving to Orlando this month! Bought my very first home very excited!
Congratulations and welcome to Orlando!
I live here in Orlando, born and raised... What she really wants to say is, make sure the areas are not predominantly Black!! 😒
@@anneyahgrace427 lol sad but true, but it’s not scary if you know that area. Tangelo park is okay.
@@Jessabella219 ....👍🏾👍🏾❤️
This was really a useful video!!
I was really worried about this video when I read the title. In the end it was thoughtful and honest without being.....well ya know. Really good video!
Thank you! Words and thoughts were chosen carefully. I have no desire to violate the Fair Housing Act.
I like your approach to this topic. Thank you.
Krista - you rock! What an awesome knowledgeable real estate professional. Keep up the great work! Krista thanks again for your recent help.
I’ve been eyeballing West Kissimmee for vacation rental and noticed East Kissimmee on the crime map is bad. Is the West side bad?
Hey Krista What Is The Name Of The Background Music On This Video?
I Like That Beat.
😊I’m sorry, I don’t remember who edited this video, but it wasn’t me. I don’t know where the music came from.
In what part of Orlando areas can I grow veggie in my garden? I am planning to move to Orlando next year but I want to be able to garden. Thanks for your respond
I think you should be ok just about anywhere other than perhaps the HOAs where lawn care is included. They may care if you have a vegetable garden. I have seen many vegetable and fruit gardens in people's yards. Perhaps some other local residents have some additional comments, but I don't think you'll find too many restrictions on that.
She's right about Google. Just by accident I found out three really surprising stories about 2 areas that I thought was really safe. I was wrong. They just had a domestic violence in this one brand new neighborhood, the road rage incident in another, and a all out police shoot out in the downtown area on a Saturday afternoon. We've been in these areas just walking around or my daughter's had a friend in that neighborhood; it's been a real wake up call.
I had clients dig up an issue with the public drinking water. We would never have known.
Thank you so much for this video! I'm relocating to Orlando from Atlanta my three end of this month, and looking for a safe area to reside.
Welcome to Orlando! I’m here to help if you need. ☺️
@@OrlandoandBeyondwithKrista so I just got a condo in Poinciana. What are your thoughts about that area?
@@drake5913 are you renting?
@@OrlandoandBeyondwithKrista I'm sorry it's in Kissimmee not Poinciana
@@OrlandoandBeyondwithKrista yes
Thank you I’m thinking of moving and I have kids
Lord Jesus you scared me, lol. Love your video. From one Realtor to the next. I’m moving right outside of Orlando. Excited to leave cold Chicago
I was recently in Chicago for the first time and I have to say - I LOVED it!!!
What part you moving to woman?
what do you opinion about kissimmee Florida?
Stay away from orange Blossom trail. The zip code of 34746 is a probably the safest part of Kissimmee. But it’s at the cost of lot of traffic during rush hour. I lived in BVL part of Kissimmee (Buena Ventura Lakes) and despite all the warning of how dangerous it was was it was actually very peaceful and quiet. Plus The Loop outdoor mall was right there so it was awesome.
Thanks for your insight!
Hi Krista I'm looking to move to Kissimmee because I enjoyed being there on vacation. But looking to rent is pretty difficult 😕.
Yes, the rental market seems to be pretty brutal right now. I don't work in rentals but it seems the good ones go fast!
Do you help with rentals?
John, I thought I replied already but now I don't see my reply. I don't do rentals. I'm sorry.
