Giving you an insight into all things BADMINTON! - Спорт
Unfortunately we lost in 3 sets to World Number 12 but we played a lot better than in Thailand and still believe in everything we’ve said in this video (and so do many other players we’ve spoken to!) As we said, it’s all about the small & continuous improvements 📈 Stay tuned for another vlog next week and in the meantime, let us know if you have any other methods you use to go from losing to winning! 😁
Love the videos, I think you should always make sure to stay positive whether you win or lose because you should always remember how well you've done to get into the positon you're in! 🏸
@@jzd Thanks a lot Jay 😊
i watched your match you guys played great....keep up the great work and videos you guys keep posting. it definitely helped me a lot on the mental side of the game. i played in my first ever amateur tournament in taipei this april at the age of 41 I signed up for 2 events mens doubles and mixed doubles. so nervious i had no clue how to handle all that but watching your old video helped but still lost first round in mens doubles but managed to make through 1 round in the mixed...
Good to see the latest vid. Keep your spirit up AND keep up the good fight! Anyhow, you guys already mentioned this but i would revisit: polish up the great things that you do to make it the greatest thing of everybody else! Respect all the way from Brunei!
Thanks for the sharing especially when I am still blaming myself on how badly I played the games today. Viewing your video surely cheer me up. Wish you every success in the coming matches.
4:42 that commentary from Gillian made my day :D Gl guys with upcomming match and stay positive!
I enjoyed it too. would you believe it?
Haha thanks 😜😁
I LOLLED
What i love about badminton, i think is the most friendliest and the most respectful sport between players, fans, even media, not like the other sports
The mixed doubles game has changed so much in the last few years since it is now way faster than before. I can see that interceptions play in the front to mid court area by the female partner is key to winning matches. With Jenny's height advantage I think adopting these style of play will bring more success for you guys in the future.Good luck!!
4:43 Gill: “I don’t believe it” hahahahaha
😂 iconic!
my favorite badminton channel on UA-cam! learned so much things from you guys, hopefully will be able to see you soon next time you come to Indonesia :)
Thanks for the video greg and jennny ! I think this format (short vid, half vlog half advice) is great espacially when your are on a big tour like the asian. Keep up the good work and this positive energy ! We love you ! Best of luck in indonesia ! 🎉
Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it 😁🙏🏼
This is so nice and postive mindset to bouce back from a set back. Thank you ❤
Love it! 🏸
Very insightful! I like the new format - telling more of the story of the life of a badminton player inluding the lows highlgihts your arent just "invincible badminton pros" :)
Thank you for what u do for the badminton community! keep it up and all the best for the upcoming indo open!
Thanks a lot, we will try!☺️
Thanks for the video! It was great to see you in Singapore!
Thanks Anton 😁
Excellent video! Thanks!🏸🏸🏸
You guys helpful tips really help me
love you guys
Wishing you both success 🏸🍻❤️🙏
Thank you 🙌
Great video!
I really enjoy the mindset you both have as I know how easy it can be to feel down after a loss. Getting a change of pace and doing things beside badminton is great advice. Good luck in the upcoming matches 🏸
Thanks a lot 🙏
I’m so happy that you guys uploaded this video! I’ve been through so many first round losses lately and didn’t know how to go about it but I think I know what to do now. Also really love this type of a vlog as well! Keep working hard, cheering you guys on for your next tournament!!!🏸🏸💕
Thank you so much 😊 Keep trying to continually improve (even just by 1%!) and you will turn those losses into wins! Good luck 😃
Thank you for posting such an insightful and different-style video! Its funny that you say you get motivated by watching players better than you guys, cause I always get motivated by watching your videos :) Keep going and hopefully see you again at the Dutch open this year❤
I will always be a fan of your campaign to educate amateur badminton players. Another lefthanded fan here. Keep safe and it is a pleasure to have you in Singapore❤.
Thank you so much ☺️
These tips don't go just for badminton, but with everything else in life as well. Thank you for putting this out :)
Another great video, really like the format. And yes, the much loved "I don't believe it!" from Gillian Clark was excellent 😆
Thanks Dave! Haha 😁
Thanks a lot for your share ❤
Thanks for watching!

Welcome to sg
im curious, in double are you guys doing split step like in single player do? or more like keep moving on split step until opponent actually hit and we react?
Hi idols! Thank you for your contents as it helps not just me but many more badminton enthusiasts 😇 I do have a question though, do you play against each other? Like Greg partnering with other women and the same goes to Jenny partnering other men? I find it helpful practicing against my partner as I see what her weaknesses and strengths are 😇 I hope it helps and thank you again for your contents 😇😇
Im sure you both will get back to winning ways soon. Good to see you both staying positive. Ive got one way you can try....get someone to tie the opponants shoe laces together b4 you play 😂. .. Love the video as always...i hope you cleaned your room after throwing your food !!!😊. Good luck for nxt tournament .
Thanks Keith 😊 Haha, we'll try that next time!! And of course we did 😁
Is it possible to provide tips on how to play smartly and where to place the shuttlecock in the court. At the moment, my main focus is learning how to strategise. Wether it's doubles or singles.
04:14 greg's t-shirt is cool. Really want it though
Bro i am from a different country otherwise i will definitely stick to your feet and request you to teach me how to play you both are excellent respect ❤️💐
Welcome to Singapore.
Singapore is awesome!
🏸 Good luck for the Indonesia Masters guys !
Thank you 😀🏸
POP QnA!
Whats your string type and tension
Hey guys... Huge fan and love your videos... Just a question.... How common is it go to train in another country ? This could help you grow or no. Is it normally a thing?
That's exactly the video I needed. I played a tourney last weekend and yesterday I faced two opponents I akready played against last year. I trained SO hard ... just to lose again. To be fair, it was my 5th day of Badminton but it's still kinda sad. I feel like the mental aspect is huge, even at a very low level of Badminton. Do you have any advice for that? I'm personally very bad at nit ruminating about results or knowing what went good/bad in a match bc my mind is so occupied. What do you do to stay clear headed?
All the best for you upcoming wedding. That’s the most important thing you should focus on now coming from a 50yr old guy with 20yrs of marriage experience under my belt 😅
Hahaha thanks 😁😊
❤
just in time for my upcoming event i have to compete on🥰
Good luck 🤞🏼
any chance you guys can come to the US and join one of our local tournaments? We would love to watch you guys play!
I watched u at Singapore open y’all did great nice try though!
Damn you Played were good man 🤌
Better luck next time. 👍
You uploaded a video on a fun trick of rotating racket on finger's mid and in the last you did it on finger tip
Can you please share tutorial for that
🏸 I've lost all my matches in my last tournament (very low level amateur tournament in Luxembourg), and I totally agree that getting back to training helped me recovering confidence.
Small & continuous improvements, and you'll start to turn around those losses into wins! 💪🏻😊
Can u make a tutorial on how to defend frount cort smash?
You guys played well but still made some mistakes in between but it was quite good according to me . Hope you improve well and show your best in the upcoming Indonesia Open 👐.
Thanks! 🏸 we’ll try our best!
Sorry for asking are you two both left handed?
I’ve noticed you’ve trained yourself to play right handed for your viewers so good job!
I believe Greg is left and Jenny is right
Yes we’re both left handed! We just like to show right handed demonstrations as over 90% of you are right handed!
i think they mirror the clips 😂😂
“I dont believe it!!!” Classic
U r the best batminion youtuber in the world😊😊😊😊love from india🏸🏸🏸🏸
hey badminton insight please, can you make a video about how to do defense in single and how to return long serve in singles, you guys have already made so much video over doubles. now let's start a videos for single players please
Coming soon 😄😄
I had a chess tournament today and I was losing in a game, but I didn’t give up and I won! Good luck to you guys!
Did you sacrifice the roooooook?
Congrats! 👏
@@davidlin3710 man , I literally heard levy's voice 😂 and he sacrificed THE ROOOOOOOK
@@arhantchettri9707 he literally makes sacrificing a roook sound more impressive than sacrificing a queen some times 😂
@@davidlin3710I actually did
Good luck 🏸
Thanks Filip! 😊
Curiously, can a professional player, can you eat random food from street? will you worry about banned substances getting from those food?
👍
While playing, I make my body stiff due to which I can't bring variations in the game. Is there any way to overcome this??
Since you have been in Asia for a while would you guys do an Asian food rating video? 😃
Oooh good idea, but maybe too late now as we didn’t get any video footage 😥
@@BadmintonInsight Next time then 😁

I have one question for you guys as you had told your fans that you shall be uploading 1 video in 2 weeks time and that you'll will be doing for 3 - 4 months....
So the question arises that when you'll be uploading in a week??
Hopefully soon! We’ve been super busy with tournaments (and also getting married in less than 2 months!) so hopefully after that 😊
I am singaporean
🏸🏸 thank you for all of your tips. I really enjoyed watching the behind the scenes!

A little bit personal question whenever u travel for tournament games, do you share hotel room?

Thanks a lot!
Today I lost a tournament . And I am not feeling well.
It's just I lost the opportunity to play at national level. What makes me sad is that next year I won't be here so I won't be able to play and win.
Although
I am a good player.
I belive on my tactics and game but I don't know what happened to me today I wasn't able to perform naturally .
I lost the single firstly , I collected myself but my wrist injury wasn't helping me out so I lost doubles too and now everyone's putting the blame on me.
I am just so guilty and I really don't know what to do..
This feeling sucks.
I really worked too hard for this tournament
