What an incredible first few days in Malaysia! 🤩🏸 We’ve spent the last couple of days watching a lot of badminton, and wow the crowd in the arena is amazing - we already can’t wait to come back next year! We hope you enjoy watching this vlog, we’ll definitely look back on this video with fond memories 😊

Having watched your game live it was easy to share the frustration the drift was causing. The fact that the drift was the subject of a lot of discussion by the commentators throughout the tournament shows it wasn't just you that experienced difficulties. But you've now played the top two pairs in the world, improved your ranking AND produced the first of what promises to be a highly entertaining, well produced and presented series of video blogs. A huge achievement by anyone's standards... not to mention Jenny's shuttle trick.

Thanks a lot Drew! 😃 The first week here in Malaysia was definitely an amazing experience (although the drift was just an 'experience', not an amazing one haha) and we've had a lot of fun!

Love your tour vlogs, easily the best in the business on the English side. I hope in the future it will be easier to access Asian videos with subtitles on other platforms as well. Badminton needs this kind of exposure. Siwei seems like such a sweetheart off court and he will make you cry on court

And I don't think I've ever seen ZSW open his eyes that wide! 🤣 Congrats on the world ranking. Awesome vlog! Very very much appreciative of all the time energy effort and cost you two put in to maintaining a channel as well as being professional athletes.
Though the match didn't go your way, I'm positive you two can take the analyses to push your game to new heights.
It's always nice to see snippets of other players outside of the court too.
Finally, I'm excited to see videos from your visit to BWF!
p.s. Question...I hope you two can cover in a future video what players on the reserve list have to go through in terms of scheduling, traveling, training etc. who don't make it into the qualifiers or main draw of an event. I can imagine outside of the time and costs, the uncertainty of not knowing ranks high on players' minds.

Big fan of the channel. Amazing insights to the different aspects of being a badminton player. I think both of you are great ambassadors to the game and the BWF should recognise you in some form. Your defence was absolutely phenomenal at times. I have seen many (currently) higher ranked players lose points against the same attacks, and you both owned it 😉
I hope you also managed to spend a bit of time with the Japanese mixed doubles pair. Their love of badminton can be seen every time they play, and that is definitely a thing you have in common 😀

Again, great video.Great to see other great badminton players in your vid's. Shame that the match did not go as planned but in the clips that you have presented you did play some good badminton. As badminton professionals you must have to get used to different arenas, different drifts etc.its the same for everyone and its something that you need to compensate for so maybe when yiu are training you need to think more about this aspect and what can be done to compensate ( like pplaying a more 2/3rds court length game with quicker, shorter points ( say 3-4 shots ) , getting away from lifts to theback of the court and smashing with lightly less power but more angle AND WIDE into the trams. Heres to the next match :-)
