The fact that she kept his letter and posted in by her workstation is one of the most wholesome things about this scene. People in jobs like this rarely, if ever, receive any words of encouragement or appreciation, and the fact that she kept this shows how much Adrian's words meant to her.
Can we all take a moment to appreciate the fact that Monk saved a young boy from a life in prison, exposed a corrupt member of law enforcement and got a millionaire fashion show owner locked up for murder all out of him noticing that his shirt wasn't inspected properly.

“Mr. Monk Goes to a Fashion Show” is one of my favorite episodes because of how happy the ending is with Maria getting her son back and how funny it is with how Randy and Natalie are when trying to be more fashionable.😊😂❤ I also love that it became a recurring thing that Stottlemeyer figures out a key clue/solve when he’s drinking.😂😅
stottlemeyer's first reaction to monk helping on the "suicide case" wasn't to think that he wasn't needed or there wasn't anything wrong... but straight to worrying that they might have missed something that monk would point out like it was obvious...😂
In the Vegas one, they left out an important detail. When the scarf got caught and nearly strangled Monk, he realized that he was unable to scream. But Mrs. Thorn was heard screaming before she got killed. But if she was being strangled by her scarf, how could she have screamed?
It's not that consistent. A lot of times in the early part of the series he was perfectly happy to get Monk involved, and conversely unhappy later on whenever he realized he would have to cater to Monk's special needs. In this one he's a bit hostile because he'd already reached a conclusion before Monk arrived, but he's also okay with it being overturned.
It actually shows that he is as inelegant, but when drunk more relaxed and more capable of being observant. Edit: same with Randy, he is a doofus, but really good at his job when calm and collected and not trying to be competitive.
She could have simply removed it from his kneck. It's was literally loosely thrown around the kneck! They have much more easily simply and quickly removed it.
I was not impressed how they ever thought that was a good idea. Having a scarf that long and wrapped tightly around your neck is a bad idea in general, but especially if you are investigating how it killed someone.
These are some of my favorite solves, however I’m surprised you didn’t include the episode where the playboy kills someone by pinning him underneath a barbell with a large magnet.
15:35 -- Monk is wrong about the "whoever/whomever." The note begins, "To whomever." The word "to" is a preposition here, with "whomever" being the object of the preposition, and thus in the objective case: whomever. The writers flubbed and NOBODY caught it.

Not if, as shown during the "how it happened" moment, he struck her from behind hard enough to knock her out or kill her instantly before she had a chance to react. You can't struggle if you're unconscious or dead. Without defensive wounds (such as bruises on the knuckles, or skin beneath the fingernails) any injury could reasonably be assumed to have been a result of the fall.

This was a fantastic show for a few seasons, but then they jumped the shark and Monk became increasingly whacko. The early years with Bitty Schram were great. I also enjoyed Traylor Howard's performance, though she came along as the show was starting to trend downward. Just my two cents...
As careful about details as they were, you'd think they could have written a better letter to "#8" instead of just repeating most of paragraph 1 for paragraph 2.
