Fun Fact: A few years prior to this, Tony Shalhoub played a mobster for real in a little seen comedy called The Last Shot starring Alec Baldwin and Matthew Broderick.
LOl the scene where Harold goes "Adrian? Adrian? Adrian? Adrain?" "I thought that was you" Monk undercover pushes Harold aside, looks at someone "What you looking at?" Finish your shirley temple"
This episode made me realize that a mobster with all of Monks issues would not only make sense, (being extremely acute to details, and OCD about cleanliness (cover up crimes) and for his own looks) but also be an extremely interesting show to watch.
@@danteghazizadeh1656 So does hiding things under floorboards--without digging a hole and throwing some dirt, sand, or such on top--now qualify as burying?
@@disposableincome "no dirt necessary." Ah, one person says it's OK because of this, and another says it's proper use because of that. Now you're telling me that no dirt is required. imagine, with all due respect, just imagine this, hear me out: a mobster, a real tough guy killer, but he's seeing a psychiatrist. huh? what you think?
Kelly carlson is beautiful, with all the people that 😱become shocked when they realize buffalo bill went into witness protection and became leland stottlemeyer.i'm surprised they never said you look a lot like this guy 😮.
I don’t know what’s funnier: Adrian only seeing the resemblance when Natalie covers the cigar, or Natalie knowing right away to cover the cigar. 😂
🤣
Good point!
Why not both
I think it was the tie that she covered. Monk never has one.
Both
What you wearing ?
Monk : Chanel no:5 ,, what are you wearing 😂😂😂

Monk was so appalled by being kissed that he used a different brand of water to “rinse”. 😂😂😂
Given how famous Monk is, I'm a little surprised nobody knew before now or that he was able to get away with it.
Well that's negated by the identical appearance isn't it
The mob version of Monk wants to bury people 10 feet under, because that's a much more comfortable number than 6 😄
I picked up on that too!! 😂😂😂
Haha! @@Josh.WDW.
I forgot to get that.
“I’m whacking someone else in Pasadena. I’ve already bought the bullets”. Haha
This episode was just gold
In Pasadena? Sheldon Cooper?

It's interesting for how much OCD controls Monk, when he needs to be a cop undercover, he does it. And it quite natural at it, like riding a bike.
Tony Shaloub: looks at a picture of Tony Shaloub.
Tony Shaloub: I don't see it.
😅
"What are you wearing?"
"Chanel #5, what are you wearing?" Lmaoo that's hilarious cause a mafia guy would totally say that 😅
CAPTAIN: I think I see where this is going
LIEUTENANT: yea me to
CAPTAIN: no you don’t
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This should have included that part where Monk straightened the tie of one of the mobsters.
When I saw this episode the first time, I was so baffled as how did Monk (here at 08:24) was channelling a proper mob guy.
Tony is a great actor

paulie walnuts had OCD I think. HEH HEH
@@disposableincome topical, considering that's Johnny Sac there. But I think you knew that.
It's actually season 8 episode 4 (not 9), 2002 "Mr. Monk is Someone Else". Very good acting.
It can't be 2002 because that's when the show first started airing.
Monk? A hitman?! The thought shall perish.
Imagine if he appeared in Sopranos. XD
The cards at 4:25 are different than at 5:44. The captain's card with the cake at 5:17 is used in the flashback.
