Between murdering his wife and mocking Trudy on his radio show, this might’ve been Monk’s most hated adversary throughout the entire series (with the exception of Trudy’s killer, obviously). Ironically, he was portrayed by one of Tony Shalhoub’s old friends from Wings.
I heard that Steven Weber begged the writers to not have him do the scene where his character mocks Trudy's death, because he and Tony Shalhoub were close friends in real life and he didn't want to provoke such anger out of him, even if it was just acting.
The ending scene with Adrian asking Max if he's laughing now is my favorite scene of the whole, with the addition of the scene after this which is Adrian watching his wedding tape and crying.
I love how at the end, Monk looks him straight in the eye and calmly asks "You're not laughing now, are you?" and followed up with "Neither am I." Monk can be savage AF without trying.
@@lukacunningham342 Got caught up in other stuff. Besides, most of these videos are too similar to keep repeating the same thing, and I don’t want to get stale. It’s been a while since this case has been brought up. And this one has the most attention on the dog and method.
This solve is definitely super satisfying.😊 I laughed so hard at Stottlemeyer looking at Randy after he said they established scientifically that a little person couldn’t fit through that 8inch window.😂😂😂
Every time Monk catches a husband who has murdered his wife, he gets real personal with them as they're arrested. Saw this with the chess champion. He loved Trudy so much.
Here’s what happened your ex was going to file a divorce which would’ve cost you over millions of dollars. You didn’t want to do that, so instead you decided killer by making it look like an accident . You trained a dog for over a month to do this. Your mistake was that your dog is his shoe grabber. And never ever joke about monks wife Trudy.
Linda said she didn't know where else to go other than Monk to solve the case. I say she couldn't have found a better person for the job. I highly doubt anyone else would've noticed the missing shoe, a key clue to the case🙂
Obviously left out a bit but that was way put of field. Just happen to walk passed the dog and figure out the dog training? Itll be more likely the case file would sit on a desk for 6 months

Yep, Steven Weber. Tim Daly also had a guest role (playing himself) in Mr. Monk and the Airplane.

Harold Krenshaw will always be number 1 😂
Him making "jokes" about Trudy just made Monk solving this case much more satisfying
@@jetnut89 nah, Krenshaw is just an irritating rival, not a true adversary

Oh, he was trying.
That guy could’ve been a profesional dog trainer.
Oh, JJ_R, I haven’t read from your comments in a while, what happened? I started to miss you little jokes!

Dude should've stopped there and realized
"Wait a minute...I AM LITERALLY THE BEST DOG TRAINER IN THE WORLD?"
Not really. Jack Russells are very easy to train. I know I have one.
This solve is definitely super satisfying.😊

Monk: You're not laughing. Are you?
Max: No, I'm not.
Monk: Join the club.
The coldest line I've ever heard from Adrian.
Randy Lol:)"Unless you're not guilty than, than sorry, BUT I'm pretty sure you are guilty"

When I think Monk and killer dog episode, another one comes to mind. Two words "clue hug".
I thought this was that episode too
That zombie dog was framed, and you know it
I'm fascinated by the clues y'all have given here. I can't wait to see that episode! 🧐
It’s funny how Monk’s obsessive compulsiveness cracked the case
That is essentially the premise of the show.
@@PlasmaMongooselol😂
Love these former coworkers go against each other. If they make another MONK movie I hope they bring in all the Wings cast as participants 🤞
Agreed glad to see their are still fans
9:40 let this be a lesson, never insults, his wife wife
He has a serious vendetta against husbands who kill their wives, and rightly so. He'd never do that to Trudy.
Steven Weber is great. Him and Tony together was excellent along with Tony’s other former co-stars like Tucci.
7:58, "I'm a big fan." Randy REALLY put his foot in his mouth there.
Randy...LOL! 🤣
"Jaggle my tenders" ha ha ha
Here’s what happened your ex was going to file a divorce which would’ve cost you over millions of dollars.

You trained a dog for over a month to do this.
Your mistake was that your dog is his shoe grabber.

He heard what you said about her and was not amused. He felt guilty and brought us the shoe he stole. Your shoe. He wanted to be a good boy for real.

Being fair, Monk is also the detective you go when you're on a budget, for some reason
To be fair we have seen detectives in this show that don’t look hard enough like Monk does. Like how Natalie was framed for cheating on a game show.
One of my personal favorites
2:44-😂😂😂😂😂😂. Why did Natalie push Monk???😂😂😂
Takes me back to wings. I loved that show
Great episode
Very clever plot
Jangle my tenders 😂
8:15 I see what you're doing Stottlemeyer! lol
I watched this episode today. I loved it.
Oh its Brian Hackett 😂
You’d think Jeanette would have noticed her husband training the dog to run through the house to turn the gas on
She took sleeping pills. That’s why she didn’t wake up from the gas
Every day at 2:00, the same time she'd take a nap
Same as an episode from Columbo-the doberman's killed a guy after saying 'Rosebud' over the phone
the dog was a snitch 😂 jk i love that dog ❤ i knew he was just programmed/ trained to do it.
Such an adorable dog
Serves him right for mocking about poor Trudy on air
Jack Russells are so cute and smart!
Eddie
@@keithbannister9271 Eddie was a great doggo!
I must admit that was a great alibi
Looked like Monk was biting his lip to keep from laughing... 😉
Is that Eddie from Fraiser?
Yes. Specifically It's Eddie #2, Enzo, the son of the original Eddie, Moose!
Janngle my tender😂😂
That is one killer dog trick😢
Never go up against Monk, you’ll loose everytime. 😉
Did Monk & Co. ever turn off the gas in the fireplace the first time?
Is he under arrest?
Yes, he is. Max Hudson too.
Training a dog to commit murdrer is disgraceful. 😠
What was the dog on Frasier? That was a smart terrier!
Murder, She Wrote also had a killer dog episode.
Monk is not only a detective show, but also a parody of detective shows. That being said, I'll check that show
So did columbo but it was 2 dogs who were trained to respond to a command.
Would you use matches or lighters to light a _gas_ fireplace anyway?
Its weird to see these. outside Wings.
The cutest psychopath ever.
He's played with both of the actors: Wings
Weber can be Mr Nice Guy or a real stinker!
Monk and the murderer were on Wings together.
Obviously left out a bit but that was way put of field.
Just happen to walk passed the dog and figure out the dog training?
Itll be more likely the case file would sit on a desk for 6 months
That guy made a mistake he lefted his closet door open and that dog has a thing for shoes he took one and brought it home.
Should have used a pre recorded command instead of the radio to issue the command
the dark side of Monk is really scary though...
was that Jack Russell Moose
Was this inspired from that one Columbo episode where the killer uses his two dogs to kill his friend who was having an affair with his wife?
Why would he kill his own wife?
Expensive divorce, with her dead he wouldn't have to pay for the lawyers and alimony
Never been married eh 😂
@OnafetsEnovap it be that way sometimes
😮
If they turned the gas off outside then there wont be any coming out of the fireplace...

Stop saying, OMG ☝️
Don't use the LORD'S NAME in VAIN
I never liked that actor who played the radio host as he only got work because of his "religion/r@ce".
Why you censor race
He only got work because he’s white?
