I absolutely loved Sharona. She didn’t enable Monk’s more extreme nonsense but was also rather protective of him. Truly wished they paid her fairly.
Please expand on that... I didn’t know she wasn’t paid fairly...

Finished watching the entire show for the first time. Sharona truly carried, episode by episode the role of assistant with a great personality. Of course I preferred her.

Of course it dropped in wiever ratings, it is like firing Stan Laurel from the famous couple Laurel and Hardy.
I don't say that Traylor Howard is bad, but she doesn't have the comedian skills to meet up with the somewhat crazy Mr. Monk
