I got my hand tattoo like 2 months ago ,it's only my 3rd tattoo but I do not regret it i actually love it but I noticed it took a little bit longer to heal than the other two and yes I am very careful and have became conscious about the sun hitting it and scraping/scratching it ..it's a skull (wearing a crown with gemstones) and I noticed that a couple of the teeth may need a touch up but it seems like everyone I know with a skull tattoo have experienced the teeth getting dull or slightly fading ..maybe because the teeth are lighter than the rest of the outline
I'm covered front to back all over my body except for my face, neck, hand, and feet. Told myself I would never tattoo them incase I wanted to wear a suit and look clean. Well I ended up tattooing my left hand finally. And it's like you said... I look at my other hand and it's like, "Damn it!!" I dont want too but I do want to ink it lol. Tattoos... such an addiction. Hand tattoos are a big commitment though. No hiding it. Unless you want to Michael Jackson it and wear a glove lol.
My hand tattoo pain was maybe....maybe a 2 out of 10. 8 years no fading, no touchups. Looks as good today as when I walked out of the shop. Zero issues with employers or anyone. I've never had a single bad thing said. I rock my ink, I got it for me, no one else
Same for me, except I've only had mine for two years now. And it wasn't as painful as I first thought it would be. But the wrist is something else, been in for a touch up 4 times, the fucker won't stay it always fades away so I've almost given up on it...
@@felixleonardfrantzen1687 yes. My fingers and hand was not so painfull. But my inner wrist. Dammnnnnnnn😂😂😂 Tommorow my neck tatt.... little bit nervous.
A guy in upper management at the company my wife works for has a hand tattoo. He's up there in management too. It seems hand tattoos are becoming more acceptable, depending on what it is.
@@justinkd I will get my first tattoo next week and I notice tattoos on other people so much these days. I meet a lot of customers and it’s crazy how many people actually have tattoos (visible) and generally they looks awesome. It is definitely not as big a deal as it used to be. I’m not worried or scared to get my first tattoo either (on my inner forearm)
My first tattoos where both my hands at 17. People definitely looked at me different but I never wanted to work for/associate with people like that anyway. Never regret it
Same here. Got my hand and upper forearm blasted at 17 and I’m 19 now. People are definitely more accepting now. I love mine, however, I wish I would’ve thought it out more. It’s my only tattoo on my arms and looks a little out of place, and it’s no longer in the same style I want to go with for my future work. I don’t try and hide it because I love how it looks, I just out grew it. I accept responsibility though and won’t make the same mistake in the future.

I got my first tattoo (half sleeve on my right arm) nearly 6 months ago and I still wake up everyday looking at it like "I can't believe I have this sick piece on my arm." Watched all your healing videos back then to ensure it came out looking good. Just counting down the days till I make it a full sleeve before the end of the year!
I’ve been thinking about getting a hand tattoo for quite some time but these are pretty good reasons on why I shouldn’t get it done. With that being said thank you for opening my eyes, I still can’t wait to get my hand tattoo soon!
Had both my hands tattooed since age 17 for my Right hand and age 21 (bday present from friend that had/has a shop). Im gonna be 50 in September 2022. So Ive had both inked for decades and I still love em. The've been the best ice breakers, which was never an intention. However, its caused mostly positive interactions with others especially now that I'm older and tattoos have become more "Main-Stream." My hand, neck and all over tattoos have not hindered me from employment. Since 2003 I've worked in the social service/ mental health field. The tattoos have in some ways helped me in with career. For example, I do case management for folks behind bars, homeless and such. So the folks I work with feel more comfortable working with me, partly because we look more alike and I also have lived experience. So in certain fields my tattoo have also been a super positive experience. After decades, I definitely have to such up my right hand, as Ive had it for many years. chEErs, 93
I own a construction company and specialize in bathroom and kitchen remodels with that being said most of my clientele are high end. Doctors, dentist, lawyers and I’ve never felt like I was getting judged and the reason I feel is because my personality sells my jobs and a lot are referrals already. I’m 26 years old and a have a full right sleeve including my hand. I do see judgement when I walk into random establishments but it’s whatever :)
I’m like the opposite of you haha lot of high end rich clientele in HVAC and feel judged right when I hop out the van. Though after that initial meeting I’ll let my personality do the work for me
Only issues i have had with my hand tattoos is being turned away a couple of times from clubs which can ruin a good night out. I didnt find my hand painful at all plus have had no issues with ink falling out,one of my hands is over knuckles etc, also no fadeing issues from sun, living in Brisbane Australia we have plenty of sun. I do love your tatt design, looks awsum
I have both full complete sleeves with hands tattoo, own a business and everything is under the service you gives to your customer that will provide them the trust 🤘🏼 I also think a complete hand tattoo looks weird without the arm tattooed
I love my hand tattoos. I have my dog paws on them. Life size, and these are big boys. Definitely draws attention. Did them both in the same session and will never regret them. Sadly, I only have one my dogs left. Lost my Pittie to cancer in January, but I will always have him with me on my left paw.
I had a good experience with my hand tattoo. For me, it wasn't any more painful than any other tattoo I have, accept over the wrist bones, that lit me up. It also healed quite well. So well, in fact, when my tattoo artist saw if after it healed he said "That is fucking amazing how well that healed". I lost absolutely no ink, but then again I was obsessive with the after care. And you were right with the need to have both hands tattooed. I went in with a plan for both hands. They are an intricate part of the sleeves I have planned. The right hand tattoo was the finishing part of my sleeve on that arm and I'm going to start the left hand and sleeve tattoo this summer. Also, Im on the older side and self employed, so I really don't have to worry too much about being judged by other people. And, I'm not planning in firing myself soon. Funny story, as I was getting it done, another artist in the shop walked in and said "What you got going here". looked and said "Oh.. A job stopper". I looked up and him, and before I could stop myself I said "Says the man with all the face tattoos". The whole shop busted up laughing.
Lots of doctors, nurses also lawyers have tattoos. I can say this after being in hospital for a month and the tattoos that the nurses and doctors had inspired me to go ahead with mine. My son is a lawyer and both male and female lawyers etc have all manner of tattoos.
I got my left hand a few years ago and my right hand last Friday. My right hand is a memorial tattoo for my dad he passed away in 2020. of all my tattoos the hands were the least painful. Thank you for your video keep up the great work! It took less time to get my hand tattooed then reading less then half these comments 😂. For the readers out there just a idea take a picture of your tattoo idea and from either your phone or print it and set it on your hand to get a better idea of how it looks and if that’s what you want or any changes you may think of. Best to all of you.
Have you ever had an allergic reaction to the ink? It’s happened to me before and you get a big red rash but it usually goes away after 2 weeks of getting the tattoo. It’s also important to remember that a allergic reaction and infection of the tattoo are two completely different things
i have that with every tattoo.. it usually comes after 1 week and its done after 2 weeks.. my tattoo is red and full of pimples... i treat it with steroid creme.. it does not harm the tattoo at all... with that beeing said, its probably not the ink, its more a reaction to lotions or products i guess...
@@adidkjf are they “green/white pimpels” witch hurt and have Some puss ? And is your skin warm? I guess you figured it out by now by the looks of your comment. But just in case. I had Some 2 times and it was actually infected and hurt bad, I called my docter and got some antibiotics to fight the infection off. It healed real quick. But had the risk of blood poisening though bad steril work and not hygenic. I take good care of my fresh tats so if I can blame my artist or myself i dont know but it sounded familliar. I used to put vaseline on it but i learned that the thickness of vaseline doesnt let your skin breathe very well. I use tattoomed now and it cools the skin take away the redness and the after pain and the itch, and it isnt thick so your clothes dont stick to it. I dont know if its availeble where you live but maybe its helpfull and works for you
My brother had the same thing happen to him which was weird cause it also happened to him again out the blue when he had it for 6 months was really odd but went away after a while
I have two sleeves and half shirt done, and now blasting my hands, the color red gives me small little bumps ,like little pimples starting, but my artist told me after inked no ointment or nothing on red for two days, and it made them dissolve within 24 hours, then I used straight aqufor, no proba AR all now, it seemed to b a first reaction to the color red which my body didn't like, but now all good, I hope this helped and made sense, thanks
This video actually inspired me to do mine. I work in the corporate world and no one really cares. I got a full hand blast in full color and very few people noticed. 😂 I love it. Thanks for the videos keep ‘em coming!
I'm glad I saw this! while it hasn't swayed me away from my decision to get my hand done, it has given me more things to be conscious of when I get it done! thank you for the information!!
Just got my parents birth year’s tattooed on my knuckles I’m 18 and honestly if I ever get rejected from a company or person based off of personal views I’ll understand because you don’t need to surround yourself with businesses and people like that do what you want to with you skin you only live once you might as well be as happy in your own skin as possible blessing y’all 💯
honestly i just love having my hands done. ive wanted them for years and finally pulled the trigger. obviously they come with those warnings, but theyre my favorite tattoos and i love getting to see them every day. i work in an office, and have 0 issues at work or from anyone judging me. also didnt think it hurt that bad, went all the way to the nail in one sitting, full hand coverage. id say calves hurt the worst for me so far. love the videos dude, keep it up!
Honestly, as long as your tattoos aren't offensive or low quality, people don't seem to really care about them. My boss had tattoos from her feet to her chest. She had a tattoo on her head but you couldn't really see it because her hair covered 95% of it. Now that doesn't mean everyone will hire you with untraditionally placed tattoos. But it's definitely more accepted these days.
I love mine! I have depression issues and honestly this really helps my mood no bullshit…you just see it all the time, and it remind me of my kid so it makes me smile
as an oilfield worker, every single type of tattoo is literally welcomed out here. dudes out here have half of their faces tattooed. it’s crazy. upside you constantly wear gloves, downside is you sweat a lot especially during summer so you gotta take care of it a little more
Yeah that is definitely a profession that I see tattoos being totally OK with especially because you are so far out and just a profession in itself. Can definitely see it being good to have them always covered but I sweating can be a hard thing to deal with as well
Just got my first 2 tattoos a few days ago. I got a finger tattoo and the other was on my ribs. My pain expectation were much higher than I expected, but I'm quite concerned about the healing process. I wear gloves for work and it's concerning me. Loved getting them done and love the way they look. Hopefully they'll look just as good after the healing process. Your content has been extremely helpful. Much love, keep up the work.
Love the hand tattoo, on Monday was round 2 of my left hand. The ink didn't take great the first time, so the second sitting sucked. I work as a EMT, tats and piercings seem to be a right of passage.
I’m going in for my round 2 July 1st and I’m a bit worried because the tattoo faded a lot and some of my skin looks shiny which I think it’s the scared tissue
I love your hand tattoo, it works well with your sleeve. Personnally the hand is one of the areas I have decided not to get tattooed, though I do like seeing others and understanding their reason. This has been a very interesting video and a good overview of what anyone considering a hand tattoo should be aware of it. Cannot wait to see the rest of your work.
Alot of great points, our DA in our city has tattos all over and is in a motorcycle club that has a certain reputation. I love that people are being more open minded about exposed tattoos.
I tattooed my hand with a heart and cross through it. Definitely get judged but most times not negatively. I work in the hospital as a respiratory therapist and plan on interviewing for a manager spot. Hopefully it does not hinder my career. Still not regrets!
Getting my third tattoo tomorrow for my birthday, first time on the hand. Looking forward to it but theres some good points here especially with just how much we use our hands.
I'm a music teacher for children and I'm about to get a full sleeve that's going to include my hand. In my case I'm pretty safe about having a tattoo at my job, but surely many have to consider this. The only stress I have is that I'm getting this tattoo from a peculiar and respected artist and I don't exactly know what I'm getting until it's going on me lol. We discussed the meaning and the message behind the artpiece, and the "must not get", but that's about it. Very exciting!
One thing I've started doing is I created a Tattoo notepad on my phone and I put ideas that I want done and where on my body it's going to go, and if I still feel the same way about it after 6 months to a year then I know it'll be something I will be fine with. That being said, I've already done this with a hand tattoo idea so I'm going hopefully later this year for it!
Really thank to you, this video make me realize before I made the worst thing, I’ve been think about getting tattoo on my back hand about 2-3 days and I think “it’s might be cool if I got hand tattoo” but this video make me think about this again cuz 1. Pain 2. Paranoid about my hand 3. Recovery time 4. Maybe I need to back to fill the color 2-3 time for make the tattoo going what exactly I want ,this 4 things make me scare af, thank you for warning me and other, good video good explanation really very easy to understand what you talking about , keep going. Love u from Thailand ❤️❤️
I’m stoked on my hand tattoo, but one thing to note is if you enjoy people not knowing you have any tattoos when you have a hoodie on, once you get your hand done there’s no hiding it and people are gonna ask about it even when you don’t want to answer questions about it
0:05 Ah yes, there it is :D I was quite sure that i will get a hand tattoo at some point since i love body suits and big coverage. This year, i started to actually plan the design and think about the timing. I got so many big & visible tattoos (if i am wearing a t-shirt) in 2020 / 2021 that i finally feel "ready". As you said, my sleeves end up at the wrist so my hands look empty in comparison. Oh and my artist asked if/when i want to do them, so seems like he thinks im ready too :D Reason number 13: This might be a small one but you should consider stuff like a wedding ring or just simple bracelets. Not only do they rub against the skin on a daily basis, but they might even cover an important part of the tattoo/design. Especially the ring is something i am going to consider when planning the tattoo. I don't want sth important being covered and i also don't want that the ring might "disappear" visually because the tatto surrounding it is to prominent. On the other hand, if the ring matches the tattoo it might also look super cool
Got my right hand tatted to finish my sleeve and I can’t wait to get my left hand done. Tbh I was prepared for the most painful time of my life but I really didn’t have a problem. My outer forearm actually hurt more oddly enough.
Career paths with tattoos are getting very normal; so growing up i ever seen a doctor or anyone like that with any visible tattoos. the most i seen were "hippy" teachers. now the much younger ones that are now getting out of university from careers in medical, law etc DO HAVE them. My youngest doctor that was just a fill in had this awesome sleeve that went down to his hand.
I'm only planning to get my one whole hand (Minus the palm) tattooed in the future, but all my fingers tattooed. Thank you for this video! It was very nice to know certain things before my time came. c:
The hand tat I wanna get is the Outsiders Mark from dishonored, and because it isn’t a huge elaborate design and just a clean symbol the fading and not looking how I want won’t be a huge issue. The only thing that I’m super nervous about is job opportunities, I wanna work in security and don’t know how much this will hinder my chances.
Really needed to see this right now! 3 or 4 yrs ago I would have never considered getting my hand tattooed. I've been thinking about it alot in the last couple of months n have a couple of ideas. I have a tattoo appointment in a week but I really don't think I'm ready to do my hand, the closer my appointment gets the more I question it!! Believe I will get something different done, that I'm positive about!! Descisions, Descisions!!!
@@jayvizzle and Pip ...I decided to not get my hand tattooed. I wanted my 1st American traditional tattoo to be something super close to my heart. I got a beautiful Mom & Dad tattoo with 2 hearts joining together with a couple of orange flowers. It's the only tattoo that I didn't tell my parents what my next tattoo would be (they are my best friends too), super close. Dad said it was his favorite one out of all of the tattoos I have....not because his name is in it he said, he just likes the bold colors!! Mom was speechless❤ I wanted to get this while my parents were still with me. Fast forward to now.....my Dad left this earth October the 5th. His 72nd birthday would have been October the 13th. I am beyond heartbroken and in disbelief. This was soo sudden. I've always been a Daddy's girl. I'm just breathing in and out right now. I'm soo glad that Dad seen my tattoo. I'm soo thankful that he's my Dad and my best friend but I miss him soooooo bad I can't hardly stand it.
I’m definitely seeing more and more visible tattoos in “serious” jobs. Saw several doctors and nurses recently, and in IT company where I work I see lot of tattooed people some of them with hand tattoos. Nobody seems to have any problems with that. But yes, there are still more people without tattoos in the office. I worked at a warehouse few years ago and almost everyone had a tattoo there. Personally I love a good hand tattoo, I would like to get one. The thing that’s holding me back is not the job or strangers opinions, but my family. Although I would quite enjoy my fathers disappointed face, my mom and grandma are very important to me. So for now I just stick with tattoos I can hide if needed.
Oeee it would look so good with the tattoo i waaaaant... Its not a sleeve it would just be in the center of the back of my hand. I got a temporary tattoo of it and I catch myself looking down at my hand just to look at it... I love it so much but I still don't know if i should..
I think medical companies are to worried about people leaving a already short staffed field to care about a non-offensive hand tattoo. Reason why I finally took that step this year.
My hands were super easy, I have the one all the way up to finger tips, in-between the fingers. The bottom of your hand by the pinky has been the worse area to keep ink in it, but I regret nothing!
these all can be summed up as "if you're insecure and care about what other people think of you more than your own self expression don't get a hand tattoo" - which is indeed useful to some clients - but in my personal opinion, if you are that person all tattoos should be a no-no.
*Titanium Armour* Firstly, titanium armours can be spaced apart to increase the effectiveness at stopping bullets. And spacing the titanium sheets apart creates a cushion that slows the bullet before the titanium is penetrated. For example, a titanium shield can have a thin 1.2mm sheet of titanium over the front of the main shield plate. This 1.2mm sheet can have spacer lugs welded to it. Furthermore, a bullets force will be reduced on impact with a space of 1 centimetre inbetween two titanium sheets. And a 1.2mm sheet of titanium in front of the main shield plate would do this. Lastly, this titanium spaced armour has actually been demonstrated and tested to be effective on the American demolition ranches. Table#1 Types of Shields ------------------ *Titanium backpack buckler* -40cm in diameter -4mm thick titanium -Weight 2.5kg including handle -If the 4mm of titanium is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 7.62 NATO and 50cal magnum rounds with this buckler. *Steel backpack buckler* -40cm in diameter -3.5mm thick steel -Weight 3.7kg including handle -If the 3.5mm of steel is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 5.56 NATO and 45cal magnum rounds with this buckler. *Titanium Tower Shield* -100cm×70cm in Area -3mm thick titanium -Weight 10kg including handle -If the 3mm of titanium is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 45cal magnum rounds and 5.56 NATO with this shield. *Titanium Shield* -50cm×70cm in Area -3mm thick titanium -Weight 5kg including handle -If the 3mm of titanium is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 45cal magnum rounds and 5.56 NATO with this shield. *Aluminium Shield* -50cm×70cm in Area -10mm thick Aluminium -Weight 10kg including handle -The tensile strength of aluminium varies a lot between regular aluminium and the 7000 series of aluminium. And that means you can make this shield just as effective as titanium. *Steel Shield* -50cm×70cm in Area -3.5mm thick steel -Weight 10kg including handle -If the 3.5mm of steel is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 45cal magnum rounds and 5.56 NATO with this shield. Next, you can use duct tape to assemble your brigandine armour plates. You can create a complete suit of brigandine that goes over the top of your jumper and jeans with duct tape. Furthermore, duct tape allows you to add bullet proof plates to all areas of your body. you can make any shape you like including the helmet without the requirement to weld or fabricate the metal. It looks like storm trooper armour when you are done. In addition, you can also keep just duct tape on a box of plates in your cupboard and nobody will suspect it is an armoured suit. Lastly, the perfect thickness for bullet proof brigandine plates is 3.0mm or 4mm titanium. And you just try and find the highest tensile strength titanium you can and just use that thickness. In addition, I have also decided that if you get a 1mm thick aluminium face size plate you can shape it in to a horror face and then bolt it to your titanium helmet. As a result, you can have a full set of bullet proof brigandine armour with a horror face helmet. That is going to be terrifying with swords and bowling ball cannons. Finally, if your metal tensile strength is high enough you will be able to deflect or even completely proof yourself against 7.62 NATO bullets. Table #2 Use of Formulas ------------ s = tensile strength in pascals (Pa) F = force in newtons (N) A = cross-sectional area in (m²) m = bullet grain mass (kg) a = acceleration of bullet (m/s²) t = time of impact (seconds) v = velocity (m/s) *(m(v/t=a)=F)/s=A* 9mm bullet Force = (m(v/t=a)=F) v/t=a (430m/s)/(0.0024s)=179,167m/s² ma=F (0.0075kg)(179,167)=1344N Aluminium tensile strength = 240MPa = 240000000Pa F/s=A (1344N)/(240000000)=5.6e-6m² 5.6e-6m² = 0.0000056m2 = 0.056cm² = 5.6mm² Therefore, a 115 grain 9mm bullet traveling at 430m/s requires 5.6mm² of 240MPa Aluminium to block it. I desperately need tips to on how to emotionally conquer caring so damn much about complete stranger’s judgements. It’s like 50% of the reason I haven’t gotten my first tattoo despite being in love with them for well over a decade
those are people you probably won’t ever see again unless you’re going to a gym at the same time each day or something like that. Honestly no one’s going to care, you’re psyching yourself out.
I know what you mean and it’s definitely something hard to get over and make the jump to get a tattoo but I do believe you just need to think about yourself and how it will make you feel. Once you have it you’ll already start to get that feeling of “f what others think”
Glad I watched this. I’m thinking of doing my wrist/some of my hand. I got a 5 hour foot/shin tattoo last year, healed wonderfully. Thanks for sharing! Will defo go ahead with my hand/wrist tatt
Some people will judge you by tattoos, but same people if your not tattooed will find something else to judge you by.I personally would never get hand tattoo, but that's me.
Had both my hands tatted over the last year, they're holding up great. One spot on one knuckle is slightly faded along with a small part of a line, rest of it is solid. Other hand, there's some smoke as negative space going through a lotus but without lines it looks weird now that it's healed, rest of the lotus is super solid a year later, I'm going to have some texture added to the smoke. As far as pain goes, if my chest was a 9/10, the hands were a 3/10. The side of the hand was probably a 5/10.
Just got my right hand done with a rose to match my rose sleeve 4 days ago. It definitely hurt more than almost all my other tattoos. I am also way more paranoid now about where my hands are going and doing like you mentioned. And while I said there was no way in hell I would get the other hand done while going through my first hand tattoo, my empty hand looks weird to me now lol. So, We'll see if I get the other hand done in the future. Also getting a lot more stares too, but compliments usually follow because my artist is a master with life like roses. Great video and you gave a lot of food for thought for someone on the fence about getting a hand tattoo.
Great video, most videos out there seem to try and talk people out of it this was just advice and stuff to think about, luckily for me I’ve already done my research and all the points mentioned have already been through my mind so I’m all good for mine but love the video and love the tats man keep the good work
I think it hasn’t been seen as much because it’s still becoming more and more acceptable and the old white collar ppl probably grew up thinking it wasn’t ok or too scared to do it. I see it becoming more acceptable in the future , and it makes me more happy that I’m an electrician 😜
On the job discussion. I'm an Engineer. I'm almost certain, I'm the only person in my industry in my entire city with a hand tattoo, or even a full sleeve. If anything, I think that it helps my job prosperity as its just another item to make me more memorable. I'm not afraid to do something like get visible tattoos, I'm also not afraid to step up and take on any challenge in my work, and that entire mentality, shows. Everyone's used to the straight edge, do as told look. Nothing wrong with that either of course, but moving forward, yes, standing out absolutely can be a benefit. Own it and do so with confidence.
Got my first tat about a week ago and I can’t WAIT to get myself my hand tatted. Do I know the risks? Yes! But everyone loves my current tat and I can’t wait to get another one!
@@savannahl1670 that’s good! You know what you’re getting yourself into unlike my last session where I have a big ass tat going to my knee area I NEARLY passed out and was seeing my life flash before my eyes 😂
I can’t wait to get mine . I have back done , sleeves , chest, pinky and 1 leg.. Being a correctional officer were allowed to have hands and neck done just nothing on face. …. I’m looking forward to some therapeutic pain.
I have a hand tattoo, I'm a nurse and get so many compliments... The colour has stayed and I have not gone back for any touch ups.. I have had it for 7 years
Golden channel & work my friend! Just discovered your channel few days ago, very nice stuff and great info of all sorts in the world of tattoos. Super solid work man, keep it up!
I'm in the process of getting a sleeve done on the left arm got two pieces done yesterday, Elbow and hand. My artist said I'll need to come back for a touch up and booked me in for it already. My right arm is complete but before getting the left hand done on the appointment scheduled, I had in mind to add onto the right arm down to fingers anyways.
Ngl, I second guessed doing it. 3 years later and I’m getting my hand tat finished. I don’t regret it at all and the pain wasn’t even close to as bad as my elbow or the nub on my wrist
I'm Australian - I think there is, or at least was, something of an unwritten rule that tattooists will not tattoo someone's hand or face unless they are already tattooed there. That said, I do wonder if with the prevalence of tattoos if this has faded somewhat.
I have both hands done and have half sleeves on both arms and love them ,and have 12 more planned to get on other parts of my arms chest back legs and feet it's addictive I love tattoos.
My hand is one of my favorite tattoos. I also work in management without issue. Mine didn't hurt unlike my foot which hurt like hell. Unfortunately I went straight to work after having my hand done which kind of messed up the outer palm area so will need to touch up. Otherwise it still looks good 2 years later.
I have a 3 inch cross on my hand, well it just felt like razorblades opening me up. and I liked it. I have two wrist tattoos and the hand tattoo hurt the most. BUT it was very enjoyable.
looking to get my hand tattooed. i wonder if it really hurts that much. already got a full sleeve both sides of my neck and back of my head blasted. i think ill be good. 💯
Your hand ink is fire , I have ink on my hands as well not as much as you but I recently got my fingers tattooed and I’m happy , yeah some jobs hate it but man it’s hard to find anyone who wants work as it is so I think tattoos nowadays, most jobs won’t deny you in my opinion
All of this def hit home! I have half sleeves on both my upper arms, so the composition and placement on my hands was a bit tricky. I personally think they still flow somehow and I love my hand/wrist tatts! 😊
I wanted a hand tattoo and went and done it. No if and buts I just went and done it. Pain was about 0.5/10 but I have a really high pain tolerance. I absolutely do not regret any of mine.
I’m working on my Star Wars inspired sleeve and have went back and forth with myself over this very topic but in the end my tattoos are a reflection of what I love and something that has meaning to me. Fuck what anyone else has to say that’s negative and would judge me for it. It doesn’t affect my work ethic, how I treat people or the kind of person I am deep inside. Get that tattoo if you want it y’all ❤
I just get my done yesterday and it hurts a lot because I did the whole fingers. I love it and really many thinks you said is true. Nobody speaks about the healing the swell and the hand that you can't close your fingers as well😂😂😂
I’m an anaesthetic and surgical technician with hand tattoos on both my hands from the rest to the tip of the thumb on the sides of the hands. I have very dainty, looking lilies and stars, and on the side or top side of my right hand. I have a moon and a sword that extends right down the middle finger. I haven’t had any issues with them and a few of my colleagues have full sleeved tattoos as well. nobody has face tattoos in my workplace with the exception of permanent make up, but we do have some people with Nick tattoos, but they are not very visible. Still, I’ve never gotten any strange looks of my hands.
It’s starting to get cold where I’m at and I’m boutta get my hand tatted and the side of my hand tatted so I ain’t gotta worry about it fading for now. But thanks for the advice!!
I’m seriously considering getting a hand tattoo on each hand. Nothing as elaborate as some shown. Maybe a Triquettra on one and a Witch’s Knot on the other. Wish me luck. Btw, I have around 14 throughout my body so I’m no stranger to the needle.
Ahhhh 😞😞😞 bummer and it looks so cool though was thinking about getting a flower hand tat and now I don’t want it after hearing all this dang it. Ahh well can’t cry over spilt milk so question what about from your forearm to your shoulder tats like full sleeve tats minus the wrist and hand parts. are they good or bad to get?
That hand tattoo of your is epic. Is that the window from the Sistine Chapel? I found out bright green does not hold on the hand all that well the first run. Have had 3 sittings now and it's finally staying.

I love your hand tattoo
Not until I run out of room on my traditional suit
Why get a hand tattoo? I wouldn’t

Hahaha honestly 😂
However, its caused mostly positive interactions with others especially now that I'm older and tattoos have become more "Main-Stream."
My hand, neck and all over tattoos have not hindered me from employment.

That's badass. Sorry for your loss brother.
Damn bro I’m sorry to hear about your loss. 🥺

I love your hand tattoo, it works well with your sleeve. Personnally the hand is one of the areas I have decided not to get tattooed, though I do like seeing others and understanding their reason.
Pinterest is a good way to collect ideas for tattoos, that’s what I do.

Oh and my artist asked if/when i want to do them, so seems like he thinks im ready too :D
Reason number 13: This might be a small one but you should consider stuff like a wedding ring or just simple bracelets.

I am a nurse and have a full sleeve. They allow visible tattoos here in the UK as long as they are not offensive.
Yeah it’s a good thing tattoos and piercings are being more accepted nowadays. Definitely something I’ve noticed
*Titanium Armour*
Firstly, titanium armours can be spaced apart to increase the effectiveness at stopping bullets.

-Weight 10kg including handle
-The tensile strength of aluminium varies a lot between regular aluminium and the 7000 series of aluminium. And that means you can make this shield just as effective as titanium.
*Steel Shield*
-50cm×70cm in Area
-3.5mm thick steel
-Weight 10kg including handle
-If the 3.5mm of steel is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 45cal magnum rounds and 5.56 NATO with this shield.
Table #2 Use of Formulas
------------
s = tensile strength in pascals (Pa)
F = force in newtons (N)
A = cross-sectional area in (m²)
m = bullet grain mass (kg)
a = acceleration of bullet (m/s²)
t = time of impact (seconds)
v = velocity (m/s)
*(m(v/t=a)=F)/s=A*
9mm bullet Force = (m(v/t=a)=F)
v/t=a
(430m/s)/(0.0024s)=179,167m/s²
ma=F
(0.0075kg)(179,167)=1344N
Aluminium tensile strength = 240MPa = 240000000Pa
F/s=A
(1344N)/(240000000)=5.6e-6m²
5.6e-6m² = 0.0000056m2 = 0.056cm² = 5.6mm²
Therefore, a 115 grain 9mm bullet traveling at 430m/s requires 5.6mm² of 240MPa Aluminium to block it.

I desperately need tips to on how to emotionally conquer caring so damn much about complete stranger’s judgements.
It’s like 50% of the reason I haven’t gotten my first tattoo despite being in love with them for well over a decade
just do it who cares
those are people you probably won’t ever see again unless you’re going to a gym at the same time each day or something like that. Honestly no one’s going to care, you’re psyching yourself out.
@@DropsmithUSA thanks, that helped
@@maenad1231 plus tattoos are meant to show off and be confident about yourself anyway :)
If you’re getting judged by your hand tattoo… just gotta hit them with “sad” haha
YOU FKIN KNOW IT 💯👌🏼😂
Got my hand tatted at the age of 17.Not regreting it all.I really love it.I will work soon as an engeneer.Loved the video thank u so much.
Yes! But everyone loves my current tat and I can’t wait to get another one!
let me kno how it goes cus im getting mines done soon nd im scared😭
@@savannahl1670 that’s good! You know what you’re getting yourself into unlike my last session where I have a big ass tat going to my knee area
I NEARLY passed out and was seeing my life flash before my eyes 😂
I can’t wait to get mine . I have back done , sleeves , chest, pinky and 1 leg.. Being a correctional officer were allowed to have hands and neck done just nothing on face. …. I’m looking forward to some therapeutic pain.
Can you talk about how to care, including the healing process, for a tattoo on your back when you live by yourself?
I’m getting a tattoo of the colosseum in 5 days. I’m so excited.
I have a 3 inch cross on my hand, well it just felt like razorblades opening me up. and I liked it. I have two wrist tattoos and the hand tattoo hurt the most. BUT it was very enjoyable.
Your tats are sick🔥🔥 dope vid
looking to get my hand tattooed. i wonder if it really hurts that much. already got a full sleeve both sides of my neck and back of my head blasted. i think ill be good.
I got a hand tat and half sleeve and I love it, I’m going in two weeks to finish my sleeve wit a heath ledger Joker piece ❤️🔥❤️🔥
I got both my hands & top+bottom fingers 😂 never regretted it. Never
Thanks for the video! It's given me some good points to consider.
It’s starting to get cold where I’m at and I’m boutta get my hand tatted and the side of my hand tatted so I ain’t gotta worry about it fading for now. But thanks for the advice!!
I am getting my left hand tattooed on a few weeks time for my birthday this one is going to be
On my left hand looking forward to it 😊
Thanks for the video! Off to get my hand tattooed
As for pain level on my hands it was about 2 or 3 like they say every one has a different pain threshold.
This was in my recommendations and I don’t have plans for a hand tatt, but it’s interesting to see these opinions.
Nice! I've got Tattoos on both hands they're not huge but I do love them. As far as pain....certainly not the worst spot...
I’m seriously considering getting a hand tattoo on each hand. Nothing as elaborate as some shown. Maybe a Triquettra on one and a Witch’s Knot on the other. Wish me luck. Btw, I have around 14 throughout my body so I’m no stranger to the needle.
I've been thinking of getting the oroboros tattooed on my left hand, the right hand I had an idea but don't think I'll do it
I want to get my knuckles done i have a hand tattoo but ive never experienced judgment for my tatttoos at work or anything.
Getting a skull with a octopus goong thru it and around jt. Its dope af. On my birthday next week
