I don't know what I find funnier, the glitch itself or the fact that HAL designed level geometry around in these out of bounds places and made them look absolutely beautiful

yeah the fact that these out of bounds areas have collision and are pretty as fuck hurts my soul. I especially wanna explore the area in stage 1 (or stage 2 I guess) that you normally only ride a warp star through. More games need huge hub cities where you can chat with people and also do absurd parkour strats.
A lot of games do this, dark souls comes to mind with games that put too much effort into areas that cant even be seen

I'm so upset they never _actually_ have you brutally murder an actual boss using a mouthful mode. You can fight Fleurina using the ring exactly once.
The reason why squeaky hammer is used the most is because it has the fastest hammer swing letting you get really fast times in the glitched meta knight cup
Well the out of bounds level looks beautiful, i think im not surprised since in the previous game, background some of stage looks beautiful and cool. my favorite are: Kirby's Return to Dreamland and Kirby Planet Robobot

You can use the super bounce in the chaos elfilis boss in the second phase to get put of bounds and when you get back into the arena where you fight them it will spawn another chaos elfilis. From what I've heard you can have it so that there are 5 chaos elfilises fighting you at once before the game crashes. I'm pretty surprised that the switch can handle so many.

If you hammer bounce up the houses up by the waddle dee chair on top of the theater, the camera actually adjusts to a special angle for there! Makes you wonder what was originally up there.
Going up there and having the camera follow made me feel like I discovered a secret area it was really nice. It gave me that sort of childlike wonder just exploring areas.

I just can't believe all those out of bounds structures have collision! That almost NEVER happens 😂
Actually, its more common than you might think. Dark Souls had entire cities worth of set dressing w/ collision. I assume a lot of the far off collision is a result of using pre-existing assets.
Especially in Nintendo games! (actually, thinking about it, maybe not.)

Yep, got the use of the Toy Hammer totally wrong in my original comment! I don't know why I didn't think to use the other upgrades to see if they'd work first lol
This was really cool to see though, a lot of these are areas I tried to get OOB in, but failed at because of poor timing, bad camera movements, etc.

I wasn’t actually aware that it worked with the Wild Hammer until I watched this video, as I’d never thought to test it on account of thinking it wouldn’t make kirby bounce because its entire schtick is that it’s really heavy lol

Interesting glitch. I've only 100%'d the game last night, and have never seen this glitch. But, being that this game is still on version 1.0.0(somehow), I wouldn't be surprised at this getting patched.

One time I clipped out of the Chaos Elfilis 2nd phase arena, respawned, and found that another 1ST PHASE Chaos Elfilis spawned
Edit:K found out this wasn't an original discovery, saw another comment talking about it

About the only use for this is speed arena run which is useful for farming stones. Other than that, what seems like a very broken glitch, really doesn’t do much.
Are we not gonna talk about why the Kirby devs put collision on like everything like they expected us to glitch out of bounds and they aren’t intending on patching it?
I find it interesting that you blocked out the final boss's name smart decision for those who haven't played the game yet and I've actually played the game through and through except I haven't 100% did it yet
Well you may want to try using this on phase 2 of the true arena final boss and falling out of bounds
Spoilers for what happens
So when you go out of bounds in phase 2 it will spawn a copy of phase 1 so have fun fighting both at once

Why is there collision everywhere when you can't reach these places? Guess that explains why things look -like the Lego stop motion videos I made when I was 11- really laggy when they're far away...
Uhh, yeah thats not how it works. Invisible collision doesn't make the game laggy, and the low framerate animations seen for far off things isn't a sign of the game running poorly. Literally the opposite. Its an optimization that keeps the game running smoothly and looking good.

for a lot of areas it's because the bomb ability allows you to throw bombs out of bounds, so there has to be some sort of collision so they don't just fall through the floor :p
