People act like just because he's too strong for everything and doesn't have a lot of money he must be miserable, but that's not everything and the latter is easily fixable. He's constantly saving people, he wanted to become a hero and save people ever since he was a child, he reached that goal. Really the only "problem" is him oneshotting almost anything but that actually made him new friends and it enables him to protect people he cares about easily. It's not like his live is empty either, he still gets frustrated when losing against king in games, he's discovering martial arts, he sees a lot of new stuff and is berfiending other S class heroes aswell. It's not like he has everything, he's just very durable and can throw a ridiculously hard punch that's the only thing he has reached the peak of there's so much stuff to do. I can't help but feel like they set up this world perfectly in the reveal of Saitama's past. He lives in a world where an overzealous love of eating crab turns a person into a monster. You even see people transform when they hit a certain threshold (in person with the evil real estate guy buying up all the property, and in talking with the crab guy I mentioned and the dude Saitama thought stole his french fry). Saitama is one such case, only he didn't mutate externally because he didn't have a specific thing in mind, or perhaps because he _did._ He set out exercising with the mindset of becoming the world's strongest hero and somewhere along the way, without him even really realizing it, he became a "monster," but under the unclear motivation of being a super hero like he used to idolize as a child

Saitama might think of suicidal thoughts as an interesting or even intriguing concept, but due to his strength would never be able to mentally regard it as more than fantasy, and thus never have taking his life truly become something he wishes to do.
I’ve actually started to get used to the fact that no one knows Saitama. I also like that for the most part Saitama doesn’t care. He is just a guy who’s being a hero because he wants to, now because he wants everyone’s praise.

Saitama might think of suicidal thoughts as an interesting or even intriguing concept, but due to his strength would never be able to mentally regard it as more than fantasy, and thus never have taking his life truly become something he wishes to do.
