0:21 - My preferred Longacre tire gauge among several I now own: I use it exclusively for cars and small X-overs. A 0-40 psi range, with high-contrast, widely spaced PSI and half-PSI ticks, makes precise cold tire pressure setting a snap! It measures to within one half PSI of my other Deluxe - the 60psi model, and my 'reference' kit, a 60psi Magnum with one of the largest dials I've ever seen near a set of wheels!
All gauges mentioned in this review are heavily and sturdily built, hold the last pressure read, and glow in the dark.
Buy them.

Is it normal for the Longacre Pro digital tire pressure gauge to make a hissing sound while measuring tire pressure? Is it OK if the number on the dial does not return to 0 PSI, but to 0.2 PSI instead?

Where is the hissing sound coming from - the gauge head, or where the chuck meets the tire valve?

How long since you bought it? Sounds like a warranty issue.
