- Here is a glimpse of the recording session for lead guitar and bass of the track "Life"; an instrumental ode to existence in all its beauty and hardship.
This track will conclude our upcoming new album "Transience", for which we are about to finish production. Expect news about its release date soon in 2018!

Really looking forward to doing just that! We had planned to release it around the end of this year, but sadly life got in the way (hence the lack of teasers in the past months). But it really is very close to done now so... hopefully just a little bit longer :) Meanwhile we'll post a few more videos, just to drive you guys insane

its been so long, but its been so worth, looking forward to it, that sounded awesome! (you dont even know who i am cause i changed my name and stuff we used to send a few messages back and forth on google hangouts or whatever its called.) ive since been inspired by bands like you to pick up guitar myself, hoping to one day play "I am the abyss" on it but its pretty hard (tips are welcome) and my mother will hopefully play it on organ soon im still waiting :/

Haha that's right man, and thank you very much! I'm a huge fan of the Soulsborne series and BB might just have become my favourite over time. The atmosphere is just so inspired (not to mention that incredible dlc). So now this has become my lucky recording shirt ;)

Bloodborne is indeed incredible but I do prefer Dark Souls just a tiny little bit. (More build paths from the start of the game and Blood gems and chalice dungeon kinda bummed me about but most of all I think it is because Dark Souls is what made me help myself out of severe depression just by the sheer depressive world that resonated with my soul at the time.)
Though I would still really like a Bloodborne shirt! I have several Dark Souls ones but no Bloodborne yet.
You are right, I couldn't have beaten him without you! Haha in all seriousness, Leeroy was a lifesaver on my recent bonewheel shield run. Having to kil a hundred of those bastard wheelskeletons to get the drop on a new char is pretty terrible, so the help of his huge hammer of holiness was more than welcome.
Yea I agree, DS1 is also undeniably a masterpiece and has a certain gameplay depth which is sadly lacking in BB. My first playthrough of it was one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've ever had. I've had the exact same experience as you with it - something about the bleakness and pointlessness of that world is so incredibly helpful when you are dealing with some stuff of your own. The way it makes you go through the highest highs and deepest lows is simply beautiful. And those voicelines by Hawkeye Gough man... even just thinking of it now makes me experience a wash of emotions. It has definitively concluded the "can games be art?" debate with a resounding yes for me.
@@Shylmagoghnar Oh, absolutely. The melancholic feeling of living in a world that does not care about you as you are one of the millions of "chosen" undead roaming the lands was just so reminiscent of how the real world felt at the time.
In general, the universe around us does not care about us and we just have to carve our own path on this globe. Just like in Dark Souls.
There is hardly any story to carry you forward. The sole reason you continue is through sheer willpower and curiosity for what lies beyond.
Games are absolutely art, just as much as music, paintings, literature, cinematography and many more.
Btw, if you are one of the 7 people on this Earth who has a Playstation Vita I would recommend Soul Sacrifice Delta (If not, a playthrough of it maybe. (Rurikhan has one I believe)) That game is in my top 3 games of all times together with Bloodborne and Dark Souls. It takes fairy tales and myths and twists them in an even darker way while having amazing stories and an amazing universe. Sadly it is locked on the Vita. :(

The album itself is reaally close to done (one more vocal track and some minor tweaks, that's it!), but we also have a music video and release preparations in the pipeline so I think it will still be a few more months. Somewhere in the first half of 2018 I think :)

I'm glad you ask! Yes, the new album will be uploaded on our channel with an animated cover like Emergence again a couple of weeks after release. Until it's up on YT, it should also be publicly available for listening right away on the usual digital channels (Spotify and the likes) and of course it can still be fully heard on our Bandcamp page as always :)
