- Time for another snippet from our upcoming album, "Transience"!
This one is an outtake from one of the instrumental tracks, which will most likely be named "The Dawn of Motion".
It is about the birth of a universe, and the violent yet beautiful forces clashing together, eventually condensing into the first stars and galaxies and drifting apart - maybe forever?

I don't always comment youtube videos, but when i do, it's Shylmagoghnar's. This is so epic, I can't really describe it in words... As in the case of the last teaser, I just can't stop listen to it again and again. And again. And hundred times more.
Thank you so much, seeing reactions like this make us extremely eager to keep it up! As I've said in some other comments, it's hard for us to guess how well something will translate if we put it out there, since we tend to be extremely critical of our own work - to a point where we almost fear showing anything before it is completely finished. So whenever we reveal these small samples it's a breath of fresh air to see such excitement about it!
Metal legends in the making. Keep up the awesome work, it's music like yours that gets me through each day!

I can't stop listening to this, I'm so excited for your new album. I remember sometime last year I was listening to Emergence, and when I am the abyss came on, my mind was blown. It was one of the coolest songs I've ever heard.

Thank you! Yea I have always been a sucker for delay and reverb, but in busy tracks it tends to drown out in the background. So whenever we do an instrumental with open spaces like this one I feel like a kid in a candy store

Well spotted! Easily one of the best investments in music I've ever made. The Evertune makes recording sooo much less stressful :) At first I wanted to get it installed in a guitar I already had, but it
turned out to be really hard to find someone who would do it for a
reasonable price in Europe. The LTD fits all of my demands though so I'm happy!

I'm actually really glad you said that, because due to the chaos surrounding the second album recordings and preparations I've not been able to catch up with messages/comments as well as I'd wish. Generally I wonder what kind of amplifiers and gadgets you use.
I'll gladly answer that! The general guitar setup on both albums is pretty straight-forward. For the rhythm guitars it's either a Peavey 6505 (red channel)+TS7(not needed for gain, but for the tone shaping the tubescreamer does) or a Jet City JCA20H+TS7 (needs the gain boost from the tubescreamer as the JCA20H is not really a modern metal amp by itself imo).
Either amp then goes through a Harley Benton 2x12 with Vintage30 speakers. It's a very budget speaker from the Thomann houseline, but it ended up sounding exactly like what I wanted for this project. Heavily recommend anyone who needs a good cab on a budget to check that one out!
Everything is then recorded with one or two SM57 microphones on the cab.
As for the leads and cleans, it's basically whatever I can throw together that works. Anything from real amps, software amps, distortion pedals, to a Boss GT-10, often in combination with a Kemper Profiling amp (that thing is freaking amazing).
All FX like tape delay, chorus, reverb, etc, are added to the dry guitar signal in the mix, so I have maximum control over them. Let me know if you'd like to know anything more specifically!

Close! It's its little brother, the MH1000 with a built-in Evertune bridge. Its specs were exactly what I wanted in a guitar and the Evertune bridge is extremely practical for recording. Set up the guitar once at the start of the day and it remains rock-solidly in tune and for the entire session :)
