Thank you for your positive views. People tend to judge Brunei for the news they read rather than visiting us and meeting the people. We're not big on tourism but we welcome our guest with an open heart and will go out of our way to make them feel welcomed. We're really laid back and without doubt, the sleepiest ASEAN nation. Indeed there's no night life and alcohol is banned completely but we've got cheap good food to make up for it. Do drop by if you want to run from the hustle and bustle of the rat race. It's a perfect place to just unwind and do nothing.
My boyfriend is from Brunei and I will visit one day, so it's interesting to watch tourist videos of the country. It will be really interesting to see a culture so far displaced from my own.
I am thankful for your positive outlook on Brunei. I would just like to tell you that there is no specific "dress-codes" in Brunei, unless you are visiting a mosque, which you will need to cover up. When outside, just be modest 😉
it's nice to see people are interested in brunei.just for your knowledge they weren't just washing their faces is called 'wudhu' which means Ritual washing to be performed in preparation for prayer and worship. or translated 'to be pure or clean' and the songs you heard coming from the mosque is called 'azan' which means The Muslim call to ritual prayer.basically an announcement to all muslims that its time to pray .on clothings, actually u just have to cover up ,if you are not a muslim you dont have to wear tudongs or hijab
for your information, it is okay for non-muslim to NOT wear hijab or that kind of 'hat' in Brunei.. yeah well.. because you arent a muslim.. and you should be fine 100%
oh hello! I'm Bruneian..thankyou for your positive feedback about our beloved country..next time come visit Brunei again during festival season like Fasting Month, Eid celebration & Our Majesty birthday. Hope you enjoy your trip in Brunei..
Thanks for another great video! I like the atmosphere and how you incorporated some sounds in. Definitely do more of that...I would love to hear the sound of the water, the waves, or even the peacefulness! (Or the opposite in some places).
Mashaaallah so beautiful country and very interesting country is Brunei ☺😘 I'm from the Philippines I'm a Muslims i love to go Brunei someday inshaallah...☺
Great video, perfectly taken and edited, nice shots, very well explained and on top of that, you got full marks for praising our small country and having positivity throughout the video. I won't mind if you'd list out things you guys didn't like during your visit here, it does help us improve really. But all you did was giving out positive comments here, so yup you've got a new subscriber here! And you should've visited Temburong too for canopy walk but nvm, next time 😉 thank you brothers and sisters 💖 Love from Brunei Darussalam.
awesome - we had absolutely NO idea about Brunei but for their extravagant eh Sultan! Yeah, ok- so we really enjoy this into and sharing it on site and twitter.
A great view of overall brunei! Usually people would just document other parts of brunei but this is refreshing :) and im really thankful for your respect towards the religion but as a bruneian, it is ok for you guys to not dress like muslims, but you guys are cute!! Thumbs up!
should have visit the inside of the" impoverish" houses of the floating village. will be shock to See most of them have Fancy sofas, Big LCD T.V, speaker sets, carpets and some might have chandelier lightings. :)
2:30 min they are not washing their face because of the weather, they are actually performing ablution, getting themselves clean and cleanse before praying. (:
Mos Boy we dont need to be a develop country like other.. what do we need is peace country with beloved Sultan.. maybe he could do more then dubai but we dont need it hee
If u come another time to Brunei u don't have to wear the hijabs n that hats. In Brunei if u wear shorts its okay. Don't worry no 1 will bother u. Why? Coz not all Bruneians wear hijabs n that hat, n even some Bruneians wear shorts n skirts. In the video u find Bruneian women not wearing hijab n hat right. It's the west mainstream media fault showing u guys as if the Muslims r so bad. Even if u go to mosques with shorts n skirts don't worry. If say u want to enter the mosque, they will provide u with robes or something.. For ur info, almost 40% of Brunei's population r non-Muslims (including Christian). They can practiced their faith n live peacefully in the sultanate..

JUST REMEMBER if you visiting BRUNEI. dont wear a bikini walking on the street. thats all. you can wear whatever heck you want. See at 2.55 that lady is wearing a tshirt saying" SEXUALITY is FLOW" . no one really cares and mind their own business. loll
As a Bruneian, I don't even know why either, but imo due to geographic differences, Brunei is a very far country to begin. Plus, our country is too small for these guys. Malaysia or Indonesia would be a better location to seek refuge since they are nearer
